With digital x-ray equipment and HD intraoral cameras, Dr. Jones can share her findings with you more easily. As the images are displayed on the in-room monitors, you will be able to co-plan your own care, as well as discuss other options that might be available.
Becoming a dentist wasnt initially her plan, but Dr. Jones quickly found out during undergrad school that it was her true calling. While studying biology at the University of Virginia, Miata Jones completed an externship along with several dental residents. Their love for dentistry had a significant influence on her. After receiving her degree in biology in 2000, she shifted her gears and went on to attend dental school at the University of Maryland, graduating in 2006.
Dr. Jones completes approximately 60 hours of continuing education each year. Her primary focus as of late has been on providing dental implant therapy, which is something that we provide here in our Falls Church office.
Although she has practiced for more than a decade, Dr. Jones felt that she needed to create a private practice where people wouldnt feel pushed around when it came to their dental care.
