Dr. Pozdniakov earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He then practiced for several years in the suburbs of Chicago, IL and Springfield, MA, where he has built a reputation of delivering quality dentistry in a highly skilled, caring, and compassionate manner. We anticipate that he will be able to provide care in Cohoes at least 4 days a week and together will continue to strive to provide you all that modern dentistry has to offer, including a comprehensive list of general, restorative, and cosmetic dental services for the whole family.
Dr. Pozdniakov has a deep connection to upstate New York Area. He is a graduate of Shaker High School and University of Albany. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and NY Army National Guard in 2006. After 6 years of service, Dr. Pozdniakov decided to pursue his lifelong goal of becoming a dentist. He is now settled in Albany, NY with his wife and twin daughters.

Very good bedside manner which I look for. Also nice office staff which many do not have. Only issue I had was Novacain didn't work all that great. Not sure why but He did try several needles. I wish all dentist could use some form of sedation. Can't find that anywhere.

I needed a dentist and have not been to one in years. I landed on one near me in cohoes and I'm glad I did. The staff is great and the dentist is a miracle worker. I have never had any work done before without any pain...untill now ..i just want to thank the doctor and the staff for taking great care of me and I will not be straying from going to the dentist again. if you are in need of a dentist I would highly recommend comfort family dentistry

So thankful this practice was able to get in on the same day I called. I had severe tooth pain through the holiday weekend and my regular practice was not able to see me for 2+ weeks. It turns out I had a pretty bad infection and I needed to get this tooth out urgently, which we were able to do despite my terrible anxiety around having any dental work performed. The Dr had great bedside manner and was able to put me at ease despite both my severe pain and very obvious nervousness. I'm now free of pain and my physical appearance has not been negatively impacted by the extraction either. I'm happy with the service I received here.

Best dental office I've been too. So polite and kind. They explained everything so I understood what was going on. Made helpful suggestions. Was not as scary as past visits other places. Today was my first visit in over a yr to a dental office and it was yrs before that.

Dr. Pozdniakov is just wonderful. I've had some issues with sensitivity that have carried on for a couple of months now and each time I visit him, he goes above and beyond to ensure my comfort and get to the source of the issue. The staff is beyond attentive and caring. It's a great place. Highly recommend.

I have brought my elderly mother there twice in the last year and they could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Everyone that works there is so pleasant and friendly, I would highly recommend them all !
