Dr. Gelfand is a graduate of New York University Dental School and practices dental care using many modern techniques. During his ten plus years of dental experience he has developed a unique patient comes first practice style geared to patients of all ages.
He is an avid sports enthusiast and spends a good deal of his leisure time coaching his girls softball and soccer teams. He also participates in sprint triathalons, biking events and other activities associated with community and national charitable causes.

You might already know Sheena. She has been helping out the Shrewsbury office for many years and we certainly couldnt be without her. When Sheena is not in the office, she enjoys family time with her husband and 2 children. She is also a great cook and loves to volunteer at her childrens school.

I have never had a good experience with the dentist before. From the moment I made my appointment and walked into the office I felt like family! They are efficient the dentist explained everything to me. I have found my dentist and do not think about leaving anytime soon! If I could give more stars I would!

This is by far the best dental practice I've ever gone to. The staff was professional and friendly. Dentist was fantastic! They were all very caring and accommodating in regards to my medical history. With this office I think I have found a keeper!

O wow they are the most friendly and funniest people we ever meant. I love them they make you so comfortable and at rest. They help you and have a great great bedside manner. I would give anyone there no. Just because they take such good care of you

This is the best dentist I have ever been to. Like most people I am skittish qhen it comes to my teeth. They have been super understanding and made sure I was able to tolerate the work being done. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist!

Love, love, love Sheena and Dr. Garland. No wait. Extremely professional and honest and a super nice atmosphere as well as a clean and beautiful office with top of the line equipment. Highly recommend!!!!!

I still don't love going for dental exams and cleanings, but Dr Gelfand and his staff make it as quick and easy as possible. I don't like it when dentists/hygienists are overly chatty, but he's actually funny in a natural, easygoing way, and I enjoy his personality. Quiet and private office, nothing fancy but clean and efficient. I've had a few cavities filled by Dr Gelfand, and he is good at getting them comfortable the first time, but once one was left a little too high, and I was able to go back quickly and he fixed it perfectly. They don't try to sell you stuff you don't need. I can Comfortably recommend Comfort Family Dental.

Comfort family dental is a match made in heaven. It's all in the name comfort and family. Everytime you go in you are treated like family. If you are scared to goto the dentist you will feel comfort here. No matter what time of day they are there for you! They will make your teeth dreams come true!

My name is Cesar and I have been going to comfort family dental for a couple months now. All I can say is that I will never change to another dentist office ever again. Dr. Gelfand Is knowledgeable, funny and caring. He always gives you choices on how to go about different treatments and will always give you his best honest opinion on what's best for you. Dr. Gelfand also has the best people assisting him like Gina. Gina will also give you the honest truth when discussing treatments and ways to go about your current dental situation. Dr. Gelfand and Gina have worked very hard to get me through my dental process and they have been nothing but helpful to get me where I need to be. I cannot express the appreciation I have for this office. You get treated like family here and i truly believe that all their patients are in great hands. So thankful I have found Dr G! He's very kind-hearted, attentive, and excellent at what he does. Such a relief to have found a dentist that actually cares about his patients and their comfort. On top of that, Sheena (office/assistant) is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Quick with scheduling/paperwork and very knowledgeable. She really makes this office shine. Plus, you will never have to explain your story to anyone when you call! HIGHLY recommend this office!

I have had many experiences with other dentist that left me scared to go back . However Dr.Bryan at Comfort Family Dental was the Best experience I have Ever had.He and his assistant were the excellent. I strongly recommend this dentist.

I'll be honest...I hate going to the dentist and usually avoid it as much as possible. However, after my recent appointment with Comfort Family Dental I am much more at ease with the overall process. The Dr and staff were very professional and made everything stress free. Now instead of dreading my next dental visit I am actually looking forward it. I 100%recommend!

Coming from someone who hates the dentist, this place was awesome! So warm and welcoming right from when you walk in. The dentist and dental assistant are so nice and personable. My dental cleaning was done as gentle as possible, and didn't leave me in any pain afterward. So happy to have found this place!
