Dr. Richard Schwarcz has been helping his patients maintain the health and beauty of their smiles for over 20 years. He is a proud member of the Center Line community, and he enjoys working with so many different patients and their families to create generations of smiles. Dr. Rick considers it a great honor to be trusted by so many families, and it is his goal to provide his patients with a unique dental experience in a comfortable, state-of-the-art, and stress-free environment.
Dr. Rick graduated from the University of Michigan in 1988; and has been practicing dentistry in Center Line since 1994. Dr. Rick is an advanced Invisalign certified provider, and is certified by the New York University Rosenthal Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has advanced training in endodontics and laser dentistry from the World Clinical Laser Institute, as well as training in I.V. and conscious sedation from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Currently, Dr. Rick is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Macomb County District Dental Society, Academy of Sports Dentistry, International Association of Dental Traumatology, International Association of Orthodontics, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Center Line Downtown Development Authority. Dr Schwarcz regularly participates in continuing education as a way to stay current with the latest treatments and techniques in dentistry. His commitment to continuing education allows him to offer his patients the most advanced dental treatment options and the highest quality care.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Rick enjoys traveling, hiking, jogging, and spending time with his wife, three children, and his two dogs, Lola and Gunner. Dr Rick, Dr Ami and every single person that works there, are so thoughtful and caring. My 6 yr old daughter loves going there and that says a lot, considering she's 6 and it is a dentist office :)

Very clean, professional and friendly atmosphere. Everyone was helpful from the time that I made my appointment to the time of my first visit for oral cleaning. My hygienist Haley and Dr Ami was awesome.

Dr. Rick, is by far thee best dentist ever!! I say this because he listens to your concerns and he gives you the best advice possible for you. Unlike a lot of people, he doesn't try to "sell you". You walk out feeling confident in your decision. When I first started working with him I was nervous because I didn't know what to expect. However, when I met with him for my consultation, he said "I'm giving you the same advice I would give my daughter". I immediately felt at ease! I went in to fix a chipped front tooth. However, I ended correcting other issues I didn't even know were an issue like my overbite. However as of now, thanks to Dr. Rick. I have a MILLION DOLLAR SMILE! He is your one stop shop for all of your dental needs! I HIGHLY recommend him and the ENTIRE establishment! They are family now and my new permanent dental home!

Excellent, I have a horrible childhood fear of the dentist....Doc Rick n his crew are fabulous!!!!! They help you feel relaxed and check constant on how you are doing, I've never felt pain here....I've had root canals, n tooth pulled....I recommend these people for anyone with hesitations about the dentist!!!! Very professional and very sympathetic....ty

I love Comfort Family Dental. Being going here since 1995. Dr Rick, Dawn and staff are very friendly but most important skilled and professional. Several friends and family members have gone and are just as pleased.

Been going here since I had teeth. It's like a family here. I always recommend them to friends, they focus so much on prevention, I've never had a cavity because they've taken such good care of my teeth. The staff are super nice, and my hygienist sometimes plays relaxing music so it feels like a spa day. Cannot recommend them enough.
