My journey to find a dentist began about 15 years ago. I wanted to correct the damage done from neglecting my teeth when I was younger. I visited multiple dentists from San Antonio to Austin, and had work done at each, but I never connected with any of the doctors or staff. Then I went to Comfort Dental on Thousand Oaks. This was about 10 years ago when Dr Allen was there. Finally!! I found a dentist who CARES. He was the first dentist I saw more than once. I finally started smiling with my teeth showing. That was a huge deal for me. When Dr Allen moved to a different location, I was skeptical about seeing another dentist. However, the dental staff had welcomed me as family at that point, so I gave Dr Do a chance. Y'all, I am so glad I did. I am still smiling with my teeth showing as Dr Do continues to work with me and my budget. Last year my son was diagnosed with cancer. The team at this Comfort Dental made my son a priority as far as seeing him prior to beginning chemo. Now that chemo is over, Dr Do empathized with our struggle and offered to fix the cavities my son formed over the course of his treatment, at no cost to us! I can't say enough good things about Dr Do both as a dentist as well as a person. She is knowledgeable, gentle and amazing at what she does. Give her a try and I promise you will make a second appointment and before you know it, you will be smiling bigger too!

Dr. Do has been treating my elderly Mom for about 5 years now. She is very patient and gentle with her. I am now using her myself. She has always provided great service and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Dr. Rich and his team are the best! He was super knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. He did some simple tests no one has ever done and fixed a tooth I thought would never be like it should be!

The wait time here is horrible. Always about an hour wait. Apparently only their time matters.

Great customer service at Comfort Dental , from front office to the back chair. I really won't want to be sitting in any other dental chair then Dr Do.

I went in for a cleaning last year and the lady carved into the side of my enamel I didn't want to cause a fuss about it so I just let it be. The tooth started a really dull pain about 8 months later so I went back to get it fixed and decided to do some other recommended fillings as a preventative measure. They fixed my initial issue and I received fillings as a preventative measure. I experienced no pain before the fillings. Post fillings however I simply cannot eat on one of my teeth because the pain is so sharp. I went back to address it and Dr. Heggie we very dismissive of the issue and threw on some Floride and said it was a separate issue. I had him "fix" the separate issue and the pain persisted. There was also some questionable drilling on areas that weren't an issue during this visit. I went to another dentist for a second opinitoday and they are giving me an appointment for a crown. They found far fewer fillings than this office did which leads me to believe they were upcharging unnecessarily. My new dentist also mentioned he sees some questionable work done with the fillings done here. I wouldn't have written this review I'd Dr.heggie simply told me I need more work done because he decided to drill a filling that would cause more harm than good. I just wanted the pain to go away and he did a poor job at addressing it.

Dr Leslie She is the best ! She is truly a great dentist and a professional at that . She has been my dentist for several years and I have truly been totally satisfied with her services. I'm so glad I have a good dentist that I can trust and feel confident that she will provide me with the best service!!! Thank you !! Very much!!

I get nervous with dental procedures but had the best experience at Comfort Dental. Dr. Do was very reassuring and did a great job with my crown. The rest of the staff was also very friendly. Thanks for the excellent care!

Dr. Do is the most un professional dentist we have ever had the experience of having. She has canceled two of our Saturday appointments due to not having a full schedule to work with those days. So we make a Tuesday 8:00am appointment and she arrives at the clinic 36 minutes late. Appointment was for a crown that she put in and kept falling off.Unacceptable.

Just want to say thank you!! I have been dying of agonizing pain for over a week, and you guys got me in same day and started my root canal. I was nervous, but Dr. Heggie and his assistant really put me at ease. If you're looking to get dental work done I wouldn't go anywhere else but here! Thank you all once again. See yall soon!!

BEST dentist and dental crew I've ever experienced. Dr Heggie rocks!!!! He is so kind, professional, excellent at what he does. If I hear that someone doesn't like the dentist office, they obviously have not gone to the Thousand Oaks Comfort Dental office in San Antonio.

I had a great experience at this location. I saw Rosemary, the hygienist she was very informative about my overall oral health and habits. She stressed the importance of flossing and keeping up with my future appointments. I really appreciate how patient and kind Dr. Rich was during my entire treatment. Esther, Dr. Rich's assistant was also very pleasant to be around. She was courteous enough to let me know when Dr.Rich was between patients and I could slip to the restroom. I will recommend this office to friends and family.

Excellent Service! The dentist and his staff were out of this world. Very attentive and concern. Front desk and office clerks were very polite and helpful. I will return if needed. And definitely recomend them highly no questions asked. Overall I give them a 5 stars review. I totally agree with all comments on this post. Not to mention. I myself was VERY happy and satisfied with all services provided.

I went in for a working interview in June and I was met with racial discrimination from the moment I stepped in . They didn't have my resume , they had about 4 people come in this little room to ask me . The hygienist Rosemary was very very rude and didn't even do her job right but had questioned me about my hygiene school as I'm going to complete. I'm a dental assistant and Linda who told me to come in didn't even pay me . I called her several times to ask what was up with my payment because that day I asked dr.heggie about it and he said I could get it the same day but Linda had already gone . I kept calling and calling one minute she said she sent it about two weeks after I called again because I didn't recieve it she said she sent it wensday which was a day before the second attempt and I said well could you just void that one and I can come pick up the other . She then laughed in my face and hung up. Do not come here . It made me feel very uncomfortable

Today I had my first visit at the Thousand Oaks office and although I was there for an emergency visit, overall, I had a very good experience. Dr. Do was my treating Dentist & even though I had the pleasure of working with her years ago, having her work on my tooth was quick, painless & she had me feeling better immediately after treatment. The entire staff from the front office to the chair side assistant & the treatment coordinator, I was very impressed as they were all very attentive, friendly & helpful. I highly recommend making an appointment with them whether it's for a regular 6 mos cleaning to a one tooth emergency. They offer later hours then most dental offices so that was an added plus too! Give them a call!

Was referred by a friend. First visit my appt was at 5:00 didn't get seen until 6:00 and then had to wait again. Didn't leave until 8:00pm. Second appt got there at 1:40pm and was call straight back. Numb my son mouth and had to wait another hour just to get dental work.I think Dr. Do is all over the place when working instead of taking care of one patient at a time. Will not be returning.

Dr. Heggie saw me on a walk-in, and I wasn't a previous patient. I didn't even really wait, he squeezed me in. When going over my issues, I was given alternative options more affordable as a hold over since my new insurance wasn't available to me yet. And when I had more issues a couple days later, I called and he came in ON A CLOSED day just to take care of me. I've never been given the amazing service that I was given here. I'm definitely going to make this location and Dr Hegee my new dentist.
