I've been very happy with the services at this Comfort Dental. Dr. Parkin did an excellent job making a 2 tooth bridge for my son's upper teeth. He is great to work with and the staff is very caring. They take Sunflower insurance and it is a little difficult to find a dental office that takes Sunflower.

I have had nothing but wonderful service from this group. If something doesn't feel right before I leave I don't assume it will correct itself after I leave. To be quite honest, I actually looked forward to my regular check ups knowing my dentist will only do what's needed when needed.

This dental service has major communication issues. I made a call on June 6th to schedule an appointment for the following Friday, June 10th. When I arrived for my appointment on the 10th I was told that my appointment was for June 3rd, the previous Friday. This was not the case as I had not even contacted them by that point, let alone made an appointment. I was turned away from being seen that day completely. When I was making a future appointment, I was told that the fee for an x-ray and exam would be approximately $129 or even more depending on what was done. Granted this is the price without insurance, which is not the problem, however it is not the $19 I was told over the phone when I made my first appointment. I do not recommend this company at all, they do not have good communication skills within their team. I will not be returning to this company ever again and will pass along the information about my experience to everyone I ever discuss dental work with.

Went in last Friday for a cleaning. They took x Ray looked at my teeth. Told me they would get a hold of me later that day to schedule and go over costs. Heard nothing. My wife called Wednesday to inquire. They told her they would get back with her. Never did. Now it's Friday again. Have tried several times to call today and always have to leave a message. I'm done trying. Other posts on here speak for themselves.

My appointment was at 430 and was still waiting to get my cleaning started at 530.. this office has a lot of younger working people which sort of made me feel uneasy with the lack of experience. The doctor came in and saw my teeth for less than 60 seconds. The cleaning I had was very amateur, it took less than 15 minutes. For my next yearly cleaning, I will go somewhere else.

The doctor did great with my son's teeth. They were extremely crooked , and in a few short months they look great. The office staff is not very friendly or easy to talk to, but the ortho staff is great. I had a issue with insurance and the doctor helped me handle everything.

The dental work is good and one hygienist was excellent... but the overall professionalism is horrible. The reception workers were sitting on desks gossiping amongst themselves very loudly and just ignore the patients trying to deal with them. Then the hygienists back in the procedure area were trash talking and gossiping about patients loud enough everyone could hear. I've worked health care for a long time and talk about a HIPAA violation, plus it's just rude and uncalled for.

I left a message over the weekend that I was having an issue with my front tooth but no pain so no "emergency" but a cosmetic issue. I got a call from the office before 8:00 am on Monday, morning with an opportunity to come in at 8:00 or 8:30 am! It was obvious that he had a full schedule but he didn't make me feel like he was in a rush. Dr. Kimes did a temporary buildup and offered me his next appointment. I highly recommend this office.

I've been going to Comfort Dental (Overland Park) for braces for the past 18 months. I love them. I have no complaints. I make payments each month I go in. The ladies in there are fantastic. They didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Everywhere else was charging $4k for braces and they charged me $1800 (without ortho insurance)

The buff dentist doesn't seem to care about the patients and very much comes off like he's trying push and sell every cavity filling he possibly can. My wife and I won't be back. The staff is super friendly and the hygienist was nice but this guy seems like he's just trying make every tooth a cavity filling for himself. Not a dentist I trust.

I just did My filling and a crown couple months ago. I had to go back for one of my filling Because I had a pain after they did the first time. Now I have to go to different dentist because still the same. After I spend more than $2000. I won't go back To this place.Dr. seems like he's not a professional. I will not recommend anyone to go there. They did a horrible job.

Dr. Parkin and his staff are amazing! They are always thorough, professional and efficient. I feel when I go in to an appointment that my dentist actually cares about me and remembers me!
