Dr. John Lee Roring started Comfort Dental of Clinton in 2009. Time flies! He grew up in Tremonton, UT and attended undergrad at Utah State University in Logan. Go Aggies! He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Creighton University School of Dentistry and upon graduation he was inducted into the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Roring has enjoyed various continuing education experiences including endodontic techniques, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry and dental implant training including full arch prosthetics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Utah Dental Association, and the Weber District Dental Society. He loves interacting with patients and enjoys helping people gain confidence with their smile.
Dr. Garrett is a native of Brigham City Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah School of Dentistry. Prior to attending the University of Utah, he attended Weber State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science, majoring in Zoology with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. Dr. Garrett went on a church mission to Mexico City and is fluent in Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys developing new hobbies. He is an avid basketball, soccer, and football fan. Dr. Garrett spends most of his free time with his family and enjoys spoiling his nieces and nephew. Dr. Garrett enjoys the outdoors, sports, and his newest hobby of 3d printing. Dr. Garrett is passionate about patient care and dentistry. He seeks to provide an optimal patient experience and provide an honest outlook on each patients oral health. He provides services in all areas of dentistry including cosmetics, root canals, implants, and wisdom teeth removal. He looks forward to meeting you and serving the patients of comfort dental.

'My visit was outstanding! Your office worked me in for a dental emergency the day before Thanksgiving. There was very minimal waiting time. Dr. Roring did great work and he and his staff were friendly and efficient! A great place to have dental work done! Thank you all so much!!!!'

I am so happy I chose this office. I had horrible experience with my last dentist so I was hesitant going somewhere new. The receptionists are super sweet and helpful. Dr. Garrett is a godsend, made sure I was comfortable the whole time and I am happy to say I am now pain free. The best part is they're not judgemental and actually caring. 10/10 recommend.

These people are all wonderful- kind, prompt, and excellent at their jobs. They have been particularly good at handling those who are NOT terribly fond of dental work.

The workers here are incredibly caring, I got my wisdom teeth removed by these guys and anytime I even breathed deeply they checked to make sure I was okay and comfortable

The dentists and hygienists are friendly but the front desk staff is rude. I've been waiting 2 months for them to let me know about my pre determination for a crown. Every time I call the front desk staff to get an update they tell me they don't know or they lie and say some other excuse.

I've had some extensive work done and Dr. Garrett has been amazing through the whole process. Very understanding and good at what he does. All of the hygienists are amazing as well.

5 Stars for Comfort Dental! We recently moved out of state and missed going to this dental office! They were always accommodating to our schedule changes and extremely easy to get ahold of if anything came up. All of their staff were extremely nice, knowledgeable, and fun! They sent text reminders for appointments, cleanings, etc., making our lives a million times easier. They were very upfront and honest with any procedures and aware of insurances and what they cover, which always gave us peace of mind.

The dental hygienist is very very rough and it felt like she was drilling into my teeth and it felt like she was doing harder and harder on purpose! Everything else was great, they just need a new dental hygienist who knows how to do it correctly and not cause horrible pain!

We've been going to Dr Rorhring for years. They helped my daughter who has a sensory processing disorder get through a visit and x-rays. Not even the specialty pediatric dentist was able to accomplish that. Their work is affordable with or without insurance. They are honest and upfront on fees and estimated benefits. We had several other dentists over the years and Comfort Dental is always the most honest and ethical. We are patients for life.

Don't get me wrong. I got a great experience in house while they were doing a root canal and crown. That part of the experience was fantastic. The bad part is their in house plan and how they tie you in and you tell them you have insurance but you cant find it. Went in for the root canal later on and showed them my info for inusrance. One of the receptionist said that their in house plan was waived off and would use my insurance to pay for the root canal and crown replacement. I still got charged for the in house plan and was given the excuse that there was miscommunication from that point it was waived off. I feel like the receptionist that was helping me completely forgot or lied to cancel the in house plan in general that day i gave her my inusrance information. So i got roped in paying for a check up and the in house plan for nothing. Thats an easy $100+ down the drain. Then their in house plan charges me more money. lady that answered me was rude and firm about no refunds.

The staff is so friendly and obviously care that I'm comfortable with everything being done. I was nervous to change dentists after moving, but I feel confident they're as good or better than my prior dentist, which means a lot since I've been a nervous patient in the past.

Very disappointed. We received a no insurance discount (like most dentists offer) and paid our bill in full at time of the visit. We always pay dental bills in full. Go back 6 months later and since we didn't sign up for their in house discount plan they took off the discount from months prior and said we owed that money that was previously discounted. They lost our business, we'll go to a place they actually offer people without insurance a discount and won't charge for it months later.

So impressed with this office! Their staff and providers have been amazing to my entire family. My kids used to dread going to the dentist and ever since we switched are completely happy going. We recently had a dental emergency and they were amazing to get my child in and the situation handled. I will continue to recommend this office!

I am one of those people that just dread going to the dentist which was especially the case this morning. I've got a lot going this week and going to the dentist wasn't at the top of my priority list but my attitude quickly changed with the gal who started with my teeth cleaning. I didn't catch her name but she was cracking jokes with me and was just overall very sweet. Then the dentist, Dr Garret, came over whom I hadn't met before and chatted with me while doing his checkup. Our encounter was brief but he was polite and I appreciated the conversation. The person I was REALLY blown away by was their amazing dental hygienist Lacey Jones. She came over and immediately put me at ease with her easy going personality and was treating me like I was a good friend. She was thorough with explaining everything she was doing, she asked me questions about my life and seemed genuinely interested in me as a person. She was observant enough to notice an issue I've been having with my jaw that no other staff member has ever noticed (or bothered mentioning) up to this point and I've visited this office several times and gave some great advice about the issue. She took her time and didn't just treat me like another person she wanted to get out of her chair. She was amazing and Comfort Dental is lucky to have her.
