Dr. George Rizkalla is an accomplished dentist with a true passion for dentistry and a commitment to providing comfortable and personalized care to all his patients. He has been committed to providing dental excellence for over 10 years.
After obtaining his dental degree, Dr. Rizkalla pursued Post-Graduate training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry at the Duggan Institute in Costa Mesa, California and at the University of Minnesota. His top priority as a dentist is to treat each patient as an individual, provide them the best in dental care available, and place their comfort and satisfaction as a top priority.
Dr. Rizkalla believes that dentistry should be as comfortable as possible, affordable, and result in beautiful, healthy smiles. He looks forward to developing long-term relationships with his patients and their families. Dr. Rizkalla is always at the forefront of his profession and continually expands his professional knowledge by attending numerous classes and seminars each year.
Dr. Kelsey Sharpe was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After graduating from high school, she moved to Omaha, Nebraska to attend Creighton University for her undergraduate studies. Dr. Sharpe loved her time at Creighton University and chose to attend dental school there as well. She graduated cum laude from Creighton University in 2008 and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.
Since dental school Dr. Sharpe has had the opportunity to work in private practice, public health and education. She thoroughly enjoys the diverse nature of general dentistry and thrives off of the challenges it presents.
In her personal life, Dr. Sharpe enjoys spending time with her husband, and daughters. She partakes in many outdoor activities with her family and enjoys the four seasons of Minnesota weather. Dr. Sharpe especially loves the warmer months and would spend everyday water skiing if it was possible. She also enjoys reading, rollerblading, snow shoeing, experimenting in the kitchen with her husband and anything to make her little girls laugh.

I've debated on posting this but feel it necessary if it can help someone else considering treatment at Comfort Dental. As mentioned by others, the staff are absolutely amazing, no complaints there. Being new to the state I chose this office based on proximity to our home. During my 3 years in Minnesota, I had quite a bit of major dental work performed by Dr. Rizkalla. August 2019, he performed a root canal. I had ongoing discomfort and complained each visit however, he was unable to find anything that stood out. Today, I have relocated back to Texas and was referred to a specialist by my new dentist to redo Dr. Rizkalla's work because I still have discomfort in that area and they said that shouldn't be the case, especially with the roots allegedly being removed. January 2021, I had a single implant performed by Dr. Rizkalla. It was extremely painful with constant bleeding and bone fragments extracting from the surgical area. Again, I went in more times than I can recall complaining of the pain. At one point he stated I had infected gums, and removed the implant to let the swelling go down. X-rays there after showed that the bone fragments were actually bone loss around the implant. October 2021 I was in the process of relocating back to Texas and Dr. Rizkalla advised that it would "repair" on its own and it looked to be improving and to just monitor it at my next dentist visit. Fast forward to January 2022, I was in so much pain with continuous bleeding and had to be referred to a specialist again who advised the implant was hanging on a thread and would have to be removed and the process restarted including a whole new implant. Implants are not covered so I am out of pocket twice totaling nearly $9,000 so far within a 15-month period for the exact same procedure in addition to the repair cost including a bone graft which regrows the bone that dissipated following Dr. Rizkalla's procedure. This has been such a stressful and surreal situation not to mention the financial impact. In reading the other reviews I realize I am not the only one who has had this experience which is unsettling and should be investigated. I advise anyone considering Dr. Rizkalla as their dentist to please please trust your body, and do not accept just his word if complications persist. The amount of pain, inconvenience and money is not worth it in the end.

Let me start by saying I am TERRIFIED of going to the dentist. Which is why I put it off for so long. I did my research and saw very positive reviews for this practice so I decided to give it a shot. I was overwhelmed by how wonderful my hygienist Jenna and my dentist Dr. Sharpe both were. They were very nice, relieved my anxiety and did a phenomenal job on my teeth. I would (and have) recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing team to take care of your pearly whites.

zero stars if i could give them, Rizzy is the worst "dentist" as stated several times below. Doesn't know what he's doing. Went back so many times didn't listen, years of pain. Don't go here you've been warned!!! Old equipment !?or they just don't know what they are doing. Let the staff do cleanings, and outsource the rest to real dentists.

I have been with Comfort Dental for 8 years. Very recently, I needed a root canal and I was extremely nervous, anxious, and wanted to avoid it at any cost. Even got a second opinion if I really needed a root canal. Finally, I built even courage and got it done. Dr. Rizkalla and his assistance (Ashley) were so great, the whole thing was done in no time. In fact, I got an additional filling done while I was there. Dr. Rizkalla is a very skilled and knowledgeable dentist. Best of all he is very caring and worked with me to calm me down. No pain after root canal. Excellent and caring staff.

I can't say enough good things about everyone here. I broke a crown and couldn't afford to fix it, I couldn't afford the $1300-$1600 that everyone was charging. I found Comfort Dental on Groupon with a special I thought was too good to be true, I mean seriously, what are you going to upsell me for half what others charge.... this was not the case, I was not upsold, I was told upfront that there may be a small additional fee for building up my tooth (which they didn't have to do and would have still been cheaper) I had my crown the same day, they got me in right away, I felt like they really cared, I could go on and on...I have a new dentist, they don't take my insurance and I will still go to them because I trust them. I will save what I spend on the BS charges the other dentists charge with insurance. Thank you to everyone there, you guys truly are awesome!!

Dr. Rizkalla and his assistant Iesha recently handled my root canal. I have never had a root canal before and Dr. Rizkalla made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Iesha was great about helping me keep calm during the procedure. I couldn't have asked for better!! Dr. Rizkalla and his team- including the amazing front desk staff are 5 Stars plus!!

This dental staff is awesome. I had put off dental visits for over 14 years after moving away from my family dentist of 20 years. I just kept putting it off. I finally was forced to go in due to tooth pain. I found out that I had quite a few cavities and needed a root canal and crown. I've had most of my work done now and has been zero pain, even during the root canal. My dental hygienist, Nicole, was super thorough with my cleaning, was very friendly and cared about my comfort during the deep cleaning. I'm so glad I found this dentist. Thank you Comfort Dental team!

I would not send anyone to comfort dentist. Let me explain. First off I don't do bad reviews hardly ever... The dentist here is BAD! The support staff is great! I was treated by some male doctor to check bliding issue in one of my tooth. They suggested treatment and provided me quotation and appointment for treatment. I went on provided day and does my cleaning and filling in tooth. First time filling was not proper due to this I could not eat well since filling was extra and I called them again and got another appointment to fix this extra filling issue . Second appointment ,They remove extra filling and after coming back home I still have pain and unable to chew food . i called next day to inform the issue and they suggested to wait for another 7 days it will heal automatically but it did not I was in pain for 7days , in between they asked me to take pain killer every 2 hours . I got third appointment and they again fix my filling and advise to wait for 7 days. Its been 3 months I am sunable to chew from the treated side so very disappointed with the treatment and then decided not to go again. my personal experience with comfort dental dentist so not recommending.

Update: I love them even more! Very thorough procedures during COVID. I felt very comfortable with the process. Happy to get my teeth cleaned in a caring and safe place! Love It! I needed a new dentist that had better availability and convenience, but also needed a new crown on a sensitive root canal retreat. Comfort Dental was the answer. They are very attentive to patients, use advanced technology, and have excellent availability compared to my previous office. I received a same-day porcelain crown with a perfect fit and a cleaning while I waited. Dr. Rizkalla is amazing. I love my new dentist office!

I love Comfort Dental and Dr. Rizkalla! He and his amazing staff are friendly and super professional. After a long search (visiting 4 different dentists over 2 years) to have a tricky 6-tooth front bridge and a couple of crowns done, I finally found Dr. George Rizkalla DDS at Comfort Dental in New Hope, Minnesota. Not only was he patient and kind, but he turned out to be the best dentist I have ever gone to! Using the latest technology, my crowns were done the same day - much to my surprise. And may I add, at a very reasonable price. When it came to the bridge, I drove this poor man crazy I'm sure of it. I dragged the process out due to my own fears from past dentists. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Rizkalla was always very patient, professional, and accommodating. When I finally did get the bridge finished, it was/is gorgeous - the technicians at the lab they use are very talented! I've since had many compliments on my smile and I owe it all to Dr. Rizkalla, his lab, and his staff. I highly recommend Dr. Rizkalla at Comfort Dental in New Hope, Minnesota. I will be using him for all my future dental needs.
