Just seemed really shady. It was a really weird experience. Put a temporary filling in the same day and fell out that night. Got my money back!!!!!!!!

I've been using Comfort Dental for all my dental work since 2007! Dr. Bill use to be the dentist of the stars when he started working in Los Angeles! He has done Dental work on several A list actors and actresses! He and his assistant Stacy treat you like family and are very attentive to providing you with the upmost care,comfort and attention to detail in all their procedures! They have several great pay plans to fit your needs and are very competitive in all their pricing! I'm very particular when it comes to my teeth and I highly recommend that you check them out before you choose a dentist to work with on the Grand Strand! P.S. ask about maximum numbness and you won't feel a thing during any of your dental work!

Not sure how good the dentist is but the front desk lady is extremely rude. Never in my life have I ever experienced such ignorance from a front desk receptionist. After speaking with her I definitely would not want to be a patient there. If she is allowed to have this kind of behavior, I can't imagine nor do I want to imagine how the dentist behaves.

Needed an emergency appointment and the lady who answered th phone was very unprofessional and rude. You can't be a new patient for emergencies and they can't take insurance on Saturdays because they can't verify it. So why be open for EMERGENCY visits, will not call back. She needs to find more suitable employment that does NOT involve customer service. For someone who needs assistance and am limited on who is open, they do not WANT your business. STAY FAR FAR AWAY, THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE DENTAL ASSOCIATION.

Moved down from NY 2 months ago. Had really bad pain in my tooth and they took me in same day. From start to finish had nothing to complain about. Would recommend to anyone

If i could give zero stars to the receptionist i would for sure. She extremely rude and after all these comments about her she is running the dentists rating WAAYY down. So many one star reveiws because of this woman. And its the same woman everyone is complaining about because she is the only one that answers phones. She needs to be fired immediately.

My boyfriend needed an extraction, so he called early in the morning to make an appointment. The lady, who is the receptionist, told my boyfriend to come in at 12:45. We got there, and she said that we were wrong and she never made an appointment for him. She was very rude, told us she wasn't the one who spoke to us on the phone yet she then told us she's the only one in the office who answers calls. We didn't argue with her and just left. She was very unprofessional, and extremely rude.

Beware!!! The dentist never looked in my mouth, the hygienist/front desk woman hands smelt of smoke. He told me I needed a root canal or my tooth would fall out. I went to get a second opinion, I lost a filling. No root canal is needed. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at Comfort Dental. I live in Charleston, SC and had a root canal done and drove to Myrtle Beach for Dr. Funderburk to get my dental crown done. The experience was totally painless. They matched the color perfectly and it looks just like my natural teeth. You can tell Dr. Funderburk Is committed to giving you the best results possible. Their 3D technology for the crown was incredibly impressive and I am so pleased and grateful for the results! I highly recommend Comfort Dental and Dr. Funderburk!

New to living in the area and luckily I found Comfort Dental, because I had an emergency on a Saturday morning and Stacey went above and beyond to help me with the severe pain from an infection in my jaw. I went back later to have an extraction and Bill was great! I was still waiting for him to pull out the tooth and he told me he was completely finished! What a great team! Now I have a dentist that I can trust not to hurt me! Truly a comfort first dental office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Funderburk For several years I have always been pleased the results of my visits to the doctor. I'm a 75-year-old paraplegic and the extra help they go to to make my visits more comfortable deserve a compliment . The work is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable I don't have insurance and so I have shopped around and these are great prices and great work. The staff is very friendly and very helpful .Logistics of moving me around from my wheelchair to the doctors chair is handled very well by the staff Dr. Funderburke is my chosen dentist and will remain so!
