Obviously this location has new dentist working here and mine did a ok job, but telling me to take advil for my pain was a complete joke, I called them back about my pain and they told me the same thing, I literally had to go to an urgent care to get taken care of. I understand there's issues with opioids with the general public, but come on, I don't recommend at all!

The wait is ridiculous and they never keep appointment times. Go in for an appointment at 2 and you won't get seen until 3:15.

My Whole family has gone here. Today i go in to have a BROKEN tooth pulled and they pulled the wtong tooth, blamed me and told me not to come back!! I already dont have many left & Ill never get that tooth back Ima "Afican American" man, let this be proof that THEY HATE US!!!

I love this office! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The dentist are professional and do great work. Sabrina was absolutely wonderful with my daughter at her first visit to the dentist. Her Patience and kindness went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this office for children and adults.

Do not go here for braces unless you have a few hours to spare. As a nanny to 3 kids and caretaker to a blind woman I don't have a lot of time to waste and my days are very planned out and scheduled. Made an appointment for one of the kids to have a consult for braces. The appointment was at 1:30 and they told his mom be there at 1 to fill out paperwork. We show up at 1 only to be told the braces people won't be back until 1:30 and no one had copies of the paperwork for us to start filing out for some reason. Come back at 1:30 and they're not there yet. Now I get to reschedule my car repairs I had for today.

At this point, clearly going to school for a degree validates NOTHING! Would give 1 star but giving two because the front desk ppl are sweet. But the "doctor" has no clue whats going on, and they hire anybody to work on your teeth. Was scheduled a week ago been having tooth pain in my wisdom tooth. They told me I didnt have cavities but referred me to an oral surgeon for wisdom teeth extraction. Thats fine and all. I went back a week later because I found out i had a big cavity in the back. Dr Huang told me "you just have to deal with it" . A girl named Shaniqua or whatever gave me an extra cleaning and barely had an idea of what was going on. She cut my gums with the tool, and her gloves reaked of B.O. I wanted to walk out but I was trying to be professional. So i had to sit through a cleaning just for them to tell me there is nothing they can do. What a waste of time and dentist school lol. This place is a joke

Loved them when I started going. dr seemed relatable ... Feel like my fillings ruined what teeth I had left, cannot floss, have a gap in one of my fillings that I cant ever keep clean. had to go back and have things redone more than once, they made me feel like a complainer. Would not recommend. Its gonna cost me thousdands of dollars to fix this.

I was going to do a review for Comfort Dental in Grandview after my initial visit in October 2021 however I chose to wait to see how things went as time went along. I am so glad I did granted if I had to review this company on my initial visit it would have been five stars Doctor Johnson did an excellent job on my root canal. When I returned 4 my crown to be delivered I saw the dental assistant remove her mask from her face while talking. I asked her to cover her face due to covid and I cannot be vaccinated due to medical reasons. I was floored because my mouth is wide open and this girl took her mask off her face and started talkin thank God I did not contract anything but that was a big No-No. On January 20th I called the office to find out what is my dental plan of care I left a message saying that I am a new patient I need my teeth clean and I have another tooth that I want fixed before my birthday. Today is January 26th 6 days later I still have not heard anything from Comfort Dental. When I call I spoke with a young lady who act like she was just passing by and answered the phone. She was clueless. She did not know what I was talking about she did not say ma'am you need to come in for a cleaning you need to come in for filling nothing she apologized for not returning the call. I decided to give this dentist a chance even though I am reluctant to allowing any black dentist do my mouth from a bad experience from another dentist in the past. Comfort Dental has taken three payments from me for my crown and each time the payment was taken nothing was mentioned about returning to get your teeth cleaned or finish up other dental work up. THEY can take your money for sure but follow-up forget it!! I would not go to Comfort Dental periodt. There is a lack of professionalism with the dental assistants and receptionists. They do not speak. I take NOTHING from Dr Johnson's work. He did a great JOB. It's the receptionist and dental assistants that give him a bad name and landed a 1 star review. Dr Johnson is ONLY as good as his staff who should make it their business to lift up Dr Johnson up. Today left a bad taste n my . I feel like I gave them time abour 3 months to correct this issue. Crickets....

Let's be serious for a moment. If your reading this because your in pain, listen up good. Stop waiting - Stop worrying! I am completely over taken by the Care and Respect I receive Everytime I must drag my hardheaded self in. I'm so skittish when it comes to needles and pain. I've had a few tooth extractions here at this location in Grandview. Today I had my first ever abscess tooth that has left my face swollen for the past few days of antibiotics and hardheaded me saying ill be just fine. Boy was I wrong. However I knew just what to do once I was thinking clearly. "Dr. Johnson". To get to the point, I'm giving 5 stars. From the staff upfront to the "delicate fingers" in the back, Bravo! Seriously bravo. I recommend this facility to anyone who now or in the past has had bad experience with dentist's to please give yourself a second chance with this comfort dental. Thanks Dr Johnson. Your the man! Happy holidays to everyone

I first got to this place because I need one of my teeth pulled. With such a pleasant experience. I decided to let them do the bi-annual cleaning along with my spouse. 1st thing they do was doing the full mouth X-ray and I said I have done that you can do once every 5 year panoramic X-ray. The assistant went to front desk and came back saying I was covered. Then the dentist came in and do the TREATMENT PLAN. He refused to do the routine cleaning as his TREATMENT PLAN called for deep cleaning which insurance does not cover. I don't mind they do how or what they do things, but at least let patients know before hand if the evaluation calls for deep cleaning, the routine cleaning is not getting performed. I have been through the dentist did the cleaning 1st with hygienist and afterward the dental exam with a TREATMENT PLAN that calls for deep cleaning. Of course, they would not take another routine cleaning before you go through the deep cleaning.

Madi was a great a receptionist. She let me try her quesadilla. 10/10 it was delicious. Also she gave me a sailor moon coloring page which was dope. Dr. Johnson was pretty chill too
