Dr. Hamilton Calder has lived in Northwest Houston for over 25 years and is part of a Spring tradition of dental comfort and care. He graduated from Brigham Young University, then from the University of Texas Dental School in 2002. Dr. Calder is continually educating himself and his staff on the newest techniques and approaches to provide you with the most advanced, antiseptic, gentle, and personalized care.
Dr. Calder is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, an organization of general dentists dedicated to professional development and continuing education. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and International Association of Orthodontics.
Ingrid has been a resident of Northwest Houston since 1989 and is originally from El Salvador. She graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelors degree in human nutrition and foods, and then in 2004 graduated from the University of Texas Dental School as a dental hygienist. Ingridhas been with our practice since 2005.She attends annual dental conferences to keep up with the latest advances in dental hygiene.
Ingrid and her family have beenlongtime members of Christ the Good Shepherd. Ingrid and her husband have a 8-year-old son, and hekeeps them busy! Ingrid and her husband enjoy trying out different restaurants all around town, watching movies, having constant family gatherings, traveling, and loving their son. She looks forward to meeting and taking care of her patients and providing them withthe best care possible.
Alicia has been with our practice since September 2014. She graduated from St. Lawrence University in upstate New York with a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2000. Alicia then graduated from the Lonestar Dental Hygiene program in 2014.
Ayla is originally from Canada, and she moved to Texas in November of 2016. Ayla graduated with a Marketing and Management degree from the Art Institute of Vancouver. She has worked on numerous projects like short films, a promotional sports commercial for BC Rugby, music videos and a variety of photo shoots as a wardrobe stylist.
With 8 years of customer service experience, she has worked in management, education and marketing. In her free time, Ayla enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is excited to explore Texas as much as possible. She loves coffee and movies!
Juan has been a dental assistant for the past 9 years. His experience in the dental field has helped him provide a comforting experience for patients with high dental anxiety. Juan is one of our many friendly staff waiting to greet patients with a big smile and positive attitude. He is very knowledgeable on dental procedures and is always willing to educate patients.
Ana was born in the Philippines and has been living in Spring, Texas, since 1997. She has been a licensed dental assistant for 21 years. Ana and her family attend Philippine-American Baptist Church, where they are active members. Ana and her husband have four children. Ana likes cooking, singing, and meeting new people.
Upon your visit, you will meet Ana as she gladly takes your X-rays, explains procedures, and assists the doctors in completing your treatment with care. Anas experience has provided her with the ability to soothe her patients and build trust. You can always feel free to ask her any questions.

In the 3.5 years I've been going, everyone is always nice. Digital x-rays that are quick & don't hurt my small mouth like traditional x-rays did. Never pushing expensive extra work that isn't needed. Convenient hours & location. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing they went above and beyond to help me. I went in with a bad tooth ache, come to find out my insurance hadn't kicked in I thought I was about to go home in pain but I've never seen so many caring people at one time. They treated me no different they were concerned, and very caring. Let's just say I went home was able to get something for pain, and they sent me home with a detailed description of what I needed done in the future to my teeth. I came in after weeks later and they all remembered me by name, and greeted me with smiles. I will not do business with anyone else after the experience I've had with them.

I give them five stars because everything was just perfect. Very professional team and great customer service. I really recommend to everyone Comfort Dental Excellence. My daughter is six years old and I thought she was going to be afraid but she was very happy, comfortable and knew she was in great hands. Loved it!

Just had all my top teeth extracted and dentures put in place. The procedure was almost painless and Dr. Calder and staff made sure I was comfortable the entire visit. My new teeth look amazing and I feel great.

I Love this place!!!! First, I want to thank Bobby for setting me up with a payment plan that was very convenient for me. Second, I want to thank Ms. Diena for getting me scheduled in, even for emergency purposes. Third, the hygienist.... I'm missing a few... Last but not least Dr. Calder, thank you so much for taking the time to fix my teeth. The whole team is AMAZING! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We really appreciate Dr. Calder and his staff for their kindness and patience with my teenage daughter. Dr. Calder was able to make a plan for my daughter with a complicated dental situation as well as being able to get her braces on and off as promised in 1 yr (that other orthos we interviewed said it was going to be a very long process). Our experience was made so much better because of his staff that really does care. Thank you so much to Tiffany, Bobby, Shaun, Ellen, Kelley and Ana!

My experience here with Shawn and everybody else here was amazing and the cleaning they do is spectacular. My teeth were crooked and all over the place but as soon as I got braces here at Comfort Dental they have gotten straight and better looking. I recommend everybody to go here for they're braces and deep cleaning.

Edit - 8/22. This time the dental visit was fast without waiting time on the dental chair. The hygienist, Alicia has been very attentive and provided good care. Dr. Lin, Ellen, Ana and Evelyn were excellent with care. Thanks to Jamie and Yvette for being courteous and nice at the front desk. Caution: Ensure the billing team doesn't round up your cost to "save time" and bill you extra dollars than what you owe during the visit. After a few days, you will forget that you paid extra dollars from your pocket and it may not get refunded to you. Business benefit from free money from patients. 9/21: The good thing about this dental office, is they are open until 8 pm which is very convenient for visits. I have been visiting this practice last two years. However, they do keep you waiting on the dental chair for each process - X-ray, doctor examination, and teeth scaling. Alicia, the hygienist does a good dental scaling and is happy with the service. The staffs are polite and care about patients.
