I was nervous . The doctor and staff were very professional, explained everything they were doing and the best part. I didn't feel a thing. Not even when the doctor was giving me shots in my mouth to numb me. Also they fixed me and saved my tooth . Highly recommended

So happy with Comfort Dental! Office staff are pleasant and helpful, Stephanie(dental assistant) was so kind and took great care of me and Dr Crandall is beyond wonderful. He took time to explain my dental health options to me and I felt he really cared about doing what's best and necessary for me..not just doing the most expensive treatments. Great place to go for your dental needs!!! Thanks to you all, Tamie

Best dentistry in the area and they take Medicare! The staff is incredibly friendly and flexible/willing to work with you. I take my kids here, I get cleaning here, and my wife too. Can't recommend them enough.

Nervous already, haven't even been there yet. It is a franchise. Why? 3 of the dentists listed on my new insurance plan info are no longer even there. WHY? Here, in Google reviews they reply only to the favorable reviews and do not reply in any way to what are seemingly reasonable critical reviews. WHY? So, due to insurance changes am sadly leaving Dr. Green at Twin Buttes Dentistry. This is the only practice on my new plan. In the plan they are named as Durango Dental Partners, then you call and find out they are Comfort Dental. Why? Receptionist sounded grumpy and unable to answer questions. So, am nervous. P.S. The website is not informative. On most dental and medical websites, the professional background of each provider is carefully laid out, such as training, universities, accreditations, dental schools, etc. However on this website there is a cartoon drawing of the dentist an short boiler plate that simply says something like: "Comfort dentists are real dentists and graduated from dental schools" Laughable, if it weren't for such a critically important part of our personal health care. Hope they can change my mind. I will report back here.

It's been 3 months since I've seen them, and they examined me told me they would contact me with a plan for work to be done and estimate of how much it would cost. So far I have not heard anything from them even after multiple calls to their office with promises that they will contact me with the information I requested. Now I will have to start over and find another dentist because of their total lack of follow through on such a simple thing as asking for a call back, I can only imagine the level of service they would provide if they were to do actual work and what kind of follow-up service they would provide if any issues were to come up. Be careful about this establishment. Update 8/31/22 Dr Crandall reached out to me and was very apologetic about not being contacted about dental work. I decided to give him a shot and I am very happy I did, Dr C and the staff are great, having a lifelong fear of dentists he made me feel comfortable and completely explained what was needed to fix my smile. Comfort Dental has been providing top notch service at reasonable prices. I would reccomend them to my friends if I had any

Staff was punctual, polite, attentive, and skillful. I appreciated gentle cleaning with frequent check ins on my comfort and careful attention to my sensitive gums and teeth. Highly recommend!

Best experience with a Dentist I've had in a long time. Had to have an extraction on an urgent basis. I get over anxious with dental work. They were extremely compassionate and it was virtually pain free. The assistant even held my hand during the anesthesia shots. The receptionist was also very friendly which made it even better. I'm definitely using them from now on. Thank You Comfort Dental!!

I had a long wait, followed by a young male dental assistant who seemed unsure of himself while he took X-rays. He didn't clean or polish my teeth. I was there for a check-up, so after he took x-rays, he said he would go get the dentist. A dentist came in, who was not the dentist I specifically made the appointment with. He gave no explanation as to why he was the one seeing me. He did some scraping to clean plaque from my teeth, while the assistant very awkwardly suctioned. Water was spraying all over my face, and he said he would give me a paper towel when they were done, but he didn't. Not a good experience at all. I have had better experiences there in the past with different assistants and dentists.

I've been to this office twice now for cleanings and they're so great! They are quick, professional and friendly! They go out of their way to help patients too! There was another patient there during my visit that had an emergency and they took him immediately. They also take steps to ensure that patients are comfortable. I got anxious during a cleaning because of the cavatron machine used and they offered to use the hand explorers to clean my teeth on my next visit in order to see if that might help my anxiety. This is an excellent office! I highly recommend them! My only negative review of this office is of the front desk receptionist. They are not very welcoming and they do not follow up with what they say they'll do. On my first visit, I was told I'd be contacted in 6 months to schedule another cleaning. I waited and waited and had to call the office to schedule my cleaning after waiting almost 3 months. The second time I visited, they didn't even offer to schedule me for a follow up cleaning. They just said OK, next cleaning in 6 months. I think this office could benefit from new receptionist.

The first time I went in the lady working the front desk was incredibly rude. They had my insurance for days before my appointment and then when I came in said they had never called my insurance. She pushed back my appointment 2 hours because of their neglectfulness. Then I rescheduled for a cleaning and waiting an hour past my appointment time with no word from anyone at the dentistry about the wait. I wish my insurance was taken in more places in Durango because I would make a different appointment in a heartbeat. After my dental work is. Done I will never recommend this place to anybody. Awful front service, communication, and neglectfulness to patients. The redeeming factor is that once you pass the front desk (if ever you do) the Dentists and dental assistants are sweet. But the front desk is staff needs some major customer service training and an attitude check.

There are no hidden suprises. The people here are incredible. Procedures are fully explained and your comfort is always at the top.
