I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors of Science degree and USC Ostrow School of Dentistry with honors. Upon graduation I worked for a prosthodontist before opening my practice in Santa Monica. Im a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society since 1994.
My mission statement is to provide comprehensive quality dental care to patients with personal attention and gentleness to each individual. A beautiful smile inspires confidence, health and well being. My goal is to create beautiful smiles for my patients as well as help them maintain healthy teeth and gums.
Dr. Homayun received his post doctorate certificate of periodontics and dental implants from Boston University Hospital in 1991. Previous to that he attended Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois from 1984-1989.
Once Dr. Homayun finished his residency program in 1991, he was recruited by the head of UCLA dental school specifically to teach the art and techniques of periodontal reconstructive surgery at UCLA department of periodontics and dental implants. He served as a professor in this prestigious dental institution from 1991-1995.
In 1995 Dr. Homayun started his private practice as a premier periodontist to some of the most influential people of all time. Dr. Homayun has treated well known politician, philanthropists, mayors, governors, presidents , actors , actresses, musicians, kings and queens of various countries to name a few.
In his 28 years of serving the community, Dr. Homayun has lectured all over the world to thousands of dental professionals. He has successfully placed over 20,000 dental implants and has served as an advisor to several dental implant companies.
Dr. Homayuns vast experiences in the dental field having performed tens of thousands of successful surgeries places him in a very unique group of dental surgeons around the world to take care of any possible condition that his patients present with.

I just want to thank Dr Michael Homayun and his staff. He has been helping me to achieve a healthy and beautiful smile. And when it comes to care he explains everything before every procedure. After many years of looking for a qualified dentist and failing every time , I'm happy to have found Comfort Dental Center . I highly recommend them for any questions you may have in regards of insurance, they were able to help me with the process and offer with the different finance programs available. Is never to late to achieve that beautiful smile! What are you waiting for believe me you won't be disappointed.

First I would first thank Dr. Homayun for making my smile come alive! I've had this insecurity my whole adult life but thanks to Dr. Homayun I finally achieved the smile goal I've always wanted! He broke everything down to me step by step before the procedure and explained all after care so well. Their staff is amazing and friendly and Made me feel at ease during my procedure. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

If there was an option to give zero stars I would. No one should go to this place.. I was hoodwinked into doing to this office with one of those radio promotions for a dental grant. I was told I had a $9000 grant. Which turned in to a $200 grant and me paying $4000 out of pocket when I choose not to get Invision line to straighten my already straight teeth. I also had a Root canal that went very wrong. I was in pain for 3 days and went back 3 time before the dentist decided I needed to see and specialists. Who was amazing!!! Thank God!!! However, ,because I listed them on my insurance and your are not suppose to change mid year when I had an emergency with my tooth I called Comfort dental. I went Two days with no response! None! Calling them telling them that I was in a lot of pain!! After not hearing from them.I called my insurance to switch dentist on the second day. Thank God! Because by the third day my tooth was so badly infected that my new dentist sent me to the ER. Now!! had only someone picked up the phone and called me back!! The funniest part is Comfort Comfort dental still has never called me back. It has been two months and no one had called. NO ONE!!!. In my opinion Comfort dental sucks! And I would not send my worse enemy there let alone my dog!! Thank you Comfort dental for making me so uncomfortable that I will be writing the Better Business Bureau and for helping me fine my new dentist. THANK YOU!

I am very pleased with the results of my visit. I had been without upper teeth for at least three years and was feeling hopeless until I went Dr Mina,and Benrnice as well as her team. They are very professional and treated me very well they gave me back my smile and I am so grateful.

By far the best dental experience I've ever had. The facilities are impeccable and the dentists are wonderful. I got my wisdom teeth extracted here with an amazing recovery. I also have had work done by Dr Mina and she's wonderful!

My husband and I just began treatment at Comfort Dental in Valencia, CA. We met Dr. Himayan, Dr. Cortez, Carlos, Mandy, Carla, and Emelda. The whole team there seems truly genuine about wanting to provide the dental treatment that is best for each of their clients. So far, we would recommend Comfort Dental to anyone. They also have locations in North Hollywood and Reseda. If you visit the Valencia location, ask for Emelda, the front desk coordinator. She is so sweet and will treat you like family.

Never thought I would be recommending a dentist in this lifetime. I have a huge phobia when it comes to any type of dental work. Dr. "H" quickly addressed my issues appropriately and put me at ease. They have a wonderful staff, you get called in almost immediately upon arrival, and the work is done very fast. This is pain free dentistry at its finest. Thanks Doc!

I originally came in for a general check up/cleaning because it had been been a couple of years since my last dentist and just recently got new insurance. Cleaning was a breeze, but Dr K found 2 small cavities and was able to fill them without much pain. The office was nice and clean, and the friendly receptionist helped me make my appts and reminders before leaving.
