I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors of Science degree and USC Ostrow School of Dentistry with honors. Upon graduation I worked for a prosthodontist before opening my practice in Santa Monica. Im a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society since 1994.
My mission statement is to provide comprehensive quality dental care to patients with personal attention and gentleness to each individual. A beautiful smile inspires confidence, health and well being. My goal is to create beautiful smiles for my patients as well as help them maintain healthy teeth and gums.
Dr. Homayun received his post doctorate certificate of periodontics and dental implants from Boston University Hospital in 1991. Previous to that he attended Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois from 1984-1989.
Once Dr. Homayun finished his residency program in 1991, he was recruited by the head of UCLA dental school specifically to teach the art and techniques of periodontal reconstructive surgery at UCLA department of periodontics and dental implants. He served as a professor in this prestigious dental institution from 1991-1995.
In 1995 Dr. Homayun started his private practice as a premier periodontist to some of the most influential people of all time. Dr. Homayun has treated well known politician, philanthropists, mayors, governors, presidents , actors , actresses, musicians, kings and queens of various countries to name a few.
In his 28 years of serving the community, Dr. Homayun has lectured all over the world to thousands of dental professionals. He has successfully placed over 20,000 dental implants and has served as an advisor to several dental implant companies.
Dr. Homayuns vast experiences in the dental field having performed tens of thousands of successful surgeries places him in a very unique group of dental surgeons around the world to take care of any possible condition that his patients present with.

nice staff members but Horrible how to doctor was trying to charge me $2,700 for my tooth removal when i have medical. Be careful with this dental office, they will try and make you pay a lot of money even if medical COVERS the expenses. I went to a different dental office which was Exceptional and they only charged me 300 for the same exact treatment and my medical was used. I don't know why this doctor was trying to make me pay so much money $2,700 for a tooth removal instead of charging my medical when my Medical would cover it. Not Nice At All. The other dentist i went to told me that they were trying to rip me off because the whole process was covered and i only payed the 300. BE CAREFUL. Always get a second opinion because they are desperate for your money and don't really care if you have medical, they will still try and charge you full price cash, Not ok. And not humain to take advantage of desperate people in pain. I only picked 1star otherwise i could not post this but i wish i could give it (0)stars.

The dentist who took are of me was very gentle with my teeth. I have very sensitive teeth and she took care of me very well. Always professional, keep and all the paperwork is always in order. I have had very bad experience with a dentist about 20 years ago! What a huge difference!

Great dentist but u find i offensive how the staff mainly the lady at the front desk talks to me . I've called and had to arrange appointments and was told there were no appointments and then my mom would call and get an appointment the next day weird ! That's definitely not being honest.

Thank you Dr. Homayun and the staff. Friendly, caring environment, as well as great rates. I've been getting terrible headaches for over a year. 2 doctors at the VA hospital, and 2 separate dentists, along with 2 mri's. Nobody could explain the crippling headaches on my left side. They would literally make me naucious, and stop me for about 2 hours til my ibuprofen 800s would take affect. These angels in disguise figured it out in a few minutes. Words can't express my gratitude for giving me my life back. Thank you very much.

Great dentist and staff! I just needed a cleaning and was able to make an appointment with them. They are very thorough as well as gentle, if you need them to be. I would highly recommend them for your dentistry needs!

I absolutely cannot wait to get my kids braces done and over with here. She's been going to this place for a year they always seem to misplace paperwork, they schedule appointments they don't keep track of them, They've called me three times to cancel/reschedule appointments because they were made too close to closing or when the orthodontist is not going to be in, which is not my fault. I've had the receptionist tell me that I'm preventing my daughters progress on her teeth, even though that day I was misled into believing that there was an appointment made for her which there never was. Nobody put it in their system even though I have record of the date and time I spoke to the receptionist and I have the appointment written in my planner, and this is the third time it's happened where they made an appointment and the date of the appointment I've had to call just to find out that the appointment was never actually made. Hold onto any paperwork they give you because I've had to provide them with copies of previous work done for my kids charts so they have record of it. They misplace paperwork regularly! Again cannot wait to be done with this place and find a more professional practice.

I have been coming here to Comfort Dental Center for 5 months now and I have been in the process of finishing up my braces with Dr.B and he has been such a good and gentle doctor with my treatment! I can't wait to see my full results at the end of my treatment! All the assistants here are welcoming and respectful and fun to be around!

I've been a comfort dental patient for over a year now and I'm really happy with the care they provide. They have so many locations so it's nice that you can schedule at different offices if you need to. Everyone is really nice, from the assistants to front desk and they aren't pushy and don't try to get you to spend unnecessarily, they just want you to have a healthy mouth. Dr. Homayun is really experienced, explains things well and has seen everything so I trust his judgment.

I love this place!! It's professional and very friendly staff make me feel comfortable and wanting to go back! Espe, Elva and Erika has been providing me with all the necessary advice needed for my braces concerning my dental hygiene and the financing options that I can use! The staff also help me to make appointments that fit into my schedule and they are really good at communicating if anything changes. I will definitely go back whenever I have anything to do with my teeth!
