Dr. Sanford Jacoby earned his undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University in Health Sciences with a minor in Art. He received his dental degree in 2002 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He spent two additional years of training, his general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Then followed up as an Oral Surgery Fellow at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
He has been practicing General Dentistry for the last 16 years in the Bronx. As the founding member of Dental Works NY he has dedicated his time and resources into building an group of providers that can meet and exceed your oral health requirements. He practices all aspects of General Dentistry including fillings, root canals, crowns , implant restorations , and dentures.
When not at work he enjoys spending time his wife and 4 beautiful children. He has a passion for playing sports, especially basketball, in which he regularly participates in pickup games trying not to get injured. Additionally, he enjoys following his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.
Dr. Hsi-Long Scott Wu is passionate about creating bright smiles and maintaining oral health. He grew up learning about dentistry from his grandfather who was an apprentice dentist. Dr. Wu is proud to continue his grandfathers legacy.
Dr. Wu was born and raised in Taiwan. His family immigrated to the US when he was 15. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Biology from University of California at Berkeley. He then received his Master degree in Medical Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine and his Doctorate of Medicine degree in Dentistry from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He began his career in dentistry by completing an one year Advanced General Practice Residency program at StonyBrook University Hospital.
Dr. Wu is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Wu is a long life learner and enhanced his training with various continuing education courses in order to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry and stay current with all of dentistrys changing technology

My immediate dentures cost me $800 in Cash. That amount is too hIgh when they are at other Dental offices for $600. I contacted my Medicaid And they told me my Original dentures was already Charged And the Amount they requested was almost Twice as much than any other Dental Offices. No Wonder Why They Treat You Very Nice! They Juicing Our Medicaid For Lots Of Money! But when I asked to get a Partial Refund for the Immediate dentures, The Manager Alex became A Different Person. He ignored Me while I was speaking to him And Walked Away like I was Invisible. I told Medicaid My Original Dentures Never came in and To please Stop further Payments to Comfort Dental. They Lying! Now I can't Get my dentures Done at another Dental Office Because This office already processed the Payment And I can't get it Twice On Medicaid. I highly recommend Another Dental Office because they stealing OUR MEDICAID MONEY! Without us Knowing. Now I'm left with No Teeth! And have to Pay in Cash to get My Original Dentures Done Elsewhere. And I can't wear my immediate dentures because they came in unaligned. Never Again I will step foot in this Deceitful Office who Smiles in Your Face And Stabs You In The Back when Problems Occur.

This office is incredible!! They're very sweet. The front desk representative was extremely pleasant and helpful. She led me through the entire registration process for becoming a patient at the clinic. She is extremely patient and helps you feel at ease. Every single person that dealt with my dental needs was also extremely insightful and intelligent. They contain a wealth of information. Alex, the manager, was also really helpful and attentive. I would without a doubt suggest this office to others in my community.

I went as a walking and I was seeing with no problems the from ladys so helpful and took time to register me quick. Emma wow super make me felt less worry. She took my xray and was so nice about it. Dr. Yoon excellent answer all my questions and concerns. I am not done with all the work maybe I can give 5stars after.

appointment but I forgot that I had another medical appointment but a counter time came and the secretary who speaks Spanish very little professional told me no She could receive me and that she had a new appointment but it was my first time and she had to find a way to accept me that day.

If you are looking for a great Dental Care Office in the Bronx that has excellent service, then I recommend this one. Yesterday, was my first day visiting this Dental facility and I am very pleased. The waiting time was short and staff were professional. The office manager, Alex and Dr. Kang have excellent customer service, were attentive, and informative. Overall, my experience at Comfort Dental was the best. I highly recommend this Dental facility.

So far, that was the most "comfortable" and stresless experience with a dentist. Dr Jacoby is a more than just skillful dentist. I came in with a broken front tooth and almost no hope to save it, but left with my smile back. Alex is the office manager appropriately qualified, explained all details about insurance's coverage and the procedures even b4 dentist came to see me.

I had an emergency with my tooth and picked up this place randomly, because of good reviews. I am so happy I went there. I am afraid of dentists since my childhood and everyone would agree that finding a good dental office is a big rarity. But this is an exception! It's a great dental office which I highly recommend. The staff is very nice, polite and friendly. The doctors are really experienced professionals. It was the fastest and painless tooth filling I have ever had. Dr. Kang made my visit so pleasant I wish every dentist would be like her. I want to add that the place itself is very clean and nice. The best dental office in Tremont and a whole Bronx.

I called to schedule an appointment, first the lasy didn't even greet, then according to google and other sites they close at 6PM, I called at 5:10 to have information and know their availability and the lady who picked up the phone said to call again next day at 11am to have information, that their last patient is @4pm and that they can't help until following business day, makes no sense for me when it's still 50mins to close, but it is what it is! Very good customer service skills .

I hate doing this but this was very much needed. Today I called comfort Dental to make an appointment. The lady as shown in the picture answered the phone being very rude. I told her I would like to make an appointment, she then answered back asking was I a new patient & I told her I made an appointment but I wasn't seen because I was waiting for three hours to be seen, she then said " oh well your deleted out the system because you never came" I then told her no I came but then I left because I was waiting since 9am. she then called me a lair AND SAID THE PLACE DOESNT OPEN TILL 9:30AM. instead of saying " miss we can make you an another appointment she was arguing with me over the phone. I then went in person to explain my frustrating and the manager wasn't any help. he was mad because I was yelling because I had to walk 8 blocks just to make an appointment I could have done on the phone. this place is the worse and I will be letting higher up know!
