You never know what or who you'll get. One of the dentists here did excellent work and I would have happily stayed as one of her patients but it doesn't do much good when every visit is a gamble on who you'll get. It's not just a matter of recognizing me, there's a massive difference in skill levels. If you think one dentist is the same as the next this may be the place for you but if you're wanting consistent quality and care I'd look elsewhere. I went here because the chains like this and aspen were the only ones covered by my previous (terrible) dental insurance and accepting new patients during covid. While I agree that there is no trust, communication, or mutual understanding. Sending me a Dear John letter after all this time is comical. I've had good insurance and a dentist who knows who I am for nearly 2 years now.

Puts all the things that are expensive to drain your insurance money then the stuff you really need to be done they want you to pay out of pocket.and neglect to mention they only have 1 hygienist that is booked until may. I wish for one dental or medical appointment in Florida to be about the patient and not working over the insurance company for the most money. Thanks for wasting my time.

Snarky holier than thou vibes a tech was putting out. Immediately hits me with a "we can't do that today" right after we exchange formal small talk, when I was the only one in the office at the time. Somehow this place ALWAYS manages to use treatment plans that are somehow not covered by insurance when they are an in network provider for me. I won't be back and will tell friends and family to go to a less cooperate office, we have tons of local alternatives with named Dentists on most signs around town. TLDR seek other places, this one is very flaky on their treatment plans that usually end up being an out of pocket visit.

Never had a concern or complaint until now. Broke the corner of a molar on a Friday, was able to get an appointment the following Monday. X-rays and recommended dental care plan that was to take place during another appointment was all that was done. Since the plan included a root canal if a crown could not work, I was told what days the following week I would have to be there since the doctor who does the root canals was there twice a week. Okay, appointment made for Friday. Called Thursday afternoon to request we do only the root canal rather than chance a crown not being feasible once the work started. NOPE, can't do that because the endodontist is only there once a month so I now have to wait a month with a hole in my tooth. Why was I told the person who can do a root canal was there on Mondays and Fridays? Other than this flub I have no complaints.

Tried to schedule for a routine cleaning. Was informed that an initial evaluation had to be completed first before they could schedule a cleaning. When asked how far out the cleaning schedule was I was told the wait wouldn't be long- definitely shouldn't take 2 months (other practices in the area are at that timeframe). Low and behold they charge you for the initial exam just to find out it's a SIX month wait for a routine cleaning! They're down a hygienist- fine. However they completely misrepresented their practice when saying it wouldn't be that long, they should have been honest up front. No problem taking money for an exam knowing they still can't provide services for half a year! Extremely unethical. Being put on an ASAP list also does nothing when all your patients are added to that list. Stick to dentists that actually perform initials and cleaning in the same go, this seems like a money grab.

Nothing comforting about waiting 2 hours for your root canal. Nothing comforting about the front office girl being combative whe n you share your frustrations and ask how much longer after 90 minutes. Nothing comforting when she tells you she'll refund your money and you can go. Like I had a choice I needed a root canal. She actually told me I hurt her feelings for venting fustrations about the wait. I'm pretty sure I'm not the first and won't be the last. I've never been treated this way at medical professionals office. Then when I call her out on her attitude she says I'm harassing her. The people in the front office should be just as professional as people in the back. Dental staff was good but that doesn't make up for the way I was treated.. I won't be going back

I have been a patient with Comfort Dental since February and have had two cleanings, a tooth extraction, a sinus lift with bone graft, two dental implants and two fillings. Doctor Angel Vasquez performed all the procedures except for the cleanings and is an excellent dentist with a great patient interaction. Comfort Dental is very safety oriented with Covid precautions and their prices are reasonable and explained upfront before treatment begins. I highly recommend them.

Great experience for me from start to finish. Had an amazing consult with Dr. Rafik. His nursing team also great and worked well with him. I would recommend them for sure. After amazing consult and quote all was good to go and scheduled. The day prior to procedure they wanted to add on several hundred dollars. I cancelled. I was suppose to get a call back to have further discussion on plan and never heard back.

I was a little unsure of this place at first but after several appointments for an implant I completely trust them. The staff is great and the doctors are outstanding. I can confidently recommend them to anyone needing dental service.

Very disappointed with the scheduling process. I had to reschedule my cleaning appointment and rebooked. I called to confirm the appointment and there is no record of an appointment being scheduled for me. I even have an email confirmation on the rebooked appointment date and time to prove an appointment was rescheduled. Now I have to wait 6 more months to have a cleaning because they are completely booked.

Appears the dentist's here only care about how much money they can get from you by conducting themselves unethically. Went in for tooth pain and after looking at the xray, the dentist spent about 90 seconds with me tapping on my tooth. He leaves and then a young lady came in advising my options were to pay @ $2200 for a bridge (which they do not reccomend), or $5k for an implant. The dentist prescribed me an antibiotic and some pain meds and I was sent on my way. Pain was unbearable again and I went to my wife's dentist in Navarre where he actually engaged in conversation to find out exactly what was going on. After looking at the xray, he said the tooth did not seem to be infected nor did it appear to have to be removed. After having me bite on one of those film devices that leave ink or color on your teeth, he shaved off a bit of the tooth where it appeared my upper teeth were putting pressure on the side of the affected tooth and prescribed a steroid to reduce any inflammation. I haven't had any pain since and I was having severe pain on and off about every 3-4 hours previously.... it would wake me up at night. The visit to this dentist cost me $48.00. If you're having issues and want them properly addressed by a dentist who makes your health and comfort a priority over his bank account, do not use this practice. I will say that the office/admin folks have always been polite and professional.....wish I could say the same for the dentists!

Upon arrival for my appointment, I was met with complete kindness and concern. Kaitlyn called me back and advised I would need a 360 deg. x-ray; which she immediately did. We discussed my need to have implants and new dentures to replace the ill-fitting ones that I already have. I was then seen by Dr. Valquez, who was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. He ordered a 3-D CT scan; which was done. After he reviewed it, I was informed of my current lack of bone loss, due to osteonecrosis, which I have due to taking various medications over a period of 16 years for osteoporosis. The meds killed most of the bone in my gums, jaw and teeth, which I had to have removed in 2018. The treatment and concern I received from my attendants during my visit was stellar!! Due to my bone loss, my issues cannot be addressed in this office but I was given a thorough breakdown of the costs to have surgical implants done in the Pensacola office by their specialist surgeon. I would recommend anyone needing any type of dental work, whether simple or complex, to visit these marvelous, very knowledgeable dentist, technicians and financial specialist in this office, who are all caring, kind, and willing to compassionately help anyone! Went in after not being to a dentist in around 20 years. Staff was friendly and understanding and took the time to listen to my issue and help out with it. I ended up lucking out with an opening to get my teeth cleaned while I was there and while not a fan of teeth cleaning the dr that did it was nice and did a splendid job doing it.

Comfort Dental is AMAZING!!! Patient, caring, and go out of their way to be sure your needs are taken care of. Sue is absolutely the BEST!!! As a new denture wearer Sue has provided expert guidance and skill to insure my dentures are a comfortable fit. The dentist are very friendly, caring, and does their best to answer all questions. The ENTIRE STAFF IS AMAZING!!! I would highly recommend.
