Dr Porwal graduated from the prestigious UCSF School of Dentistry at the top of her class, with honors. She also holds a Bachelors Degree in Dentistry which she attained in 1998. Her artistic inclination and her focus on detail while keeping the end goal in mind makes her an excellent clinician and a quality dentist. She is part of many leading study clubs and believes strongly in the power of continuing education. She keeps up with latest in technology, materials, and research and continually updates her practice. And she is a champion of nerves. Her calm chairside manners, excellent clinical skills, including options of Nitrous and Conscious Sedation Dentistry provides a good experience based on individual needs.

Dr. Porwals practice is fully digitized and paperless. Her office has the latest state-of-the-art equipment including the best methods of sterilization. The friendly staff specializes in assisting all patients including those with special needs. Dr. Porwals office is a private family practice. She and her team take great pride in their work. Their mission is to provide comfort, quality service, and to build trust while achieving a high level of oral health care.

Her dental philosophy entails her as the clinician evaluating and providing all information based on her diagnosis and lay out all the treatment options for her patients. The patients then work in cohort with her as a partner to finalize a treatment plan for the best acceptable outcome.

When Dr Porwal is not working with patients or taking continuing education courses, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, hiking or exploring new activities with her 7 year old daughter. She volunteers at local charity programs and organizations such as Give Back a Smile, the Red Cross, and local food banks. She also travels back to India to provide dental care and education to the less fortunate there.
