She is part of many leading study clubs and believes strongly in the power of continuing education. She keeps up with latest in technology, materials, and research and continually updates her practice. And she is a champion of nerves. Her calm chairside manners, excellent clinical skills, including options of Nitrous and Conscious Sedation Dentistry provides a good experience based on individual needs.
Dr. Porwals practice is fully digitized and paperless. Her office has the latest state-of-the-art equipment including the best methods of sterilization. The friendly staff specializes in assisting all patients including those with special needs. Dr. Porwals office is a private family practice. She and her team take great pride in their work. Their mission is to provide comfort, quality service, and to build trust while achieving a high level of oral health care.
Her dental philosophy entails her as the clinician evaluating and providing all information based on her diagnosis and lay out all the treatment options for her patients. The patients then work in cohort with her as a partner to finalize a treatment plan for the best acceptable outcome.
When Dr Porwal is not working with patients or taking continuing education courses, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, hiking or exploring new activities with her 7 year old daughter. She volunteers at local charity programs and organizations such as Give Back a Smile, the Red Cross, and local food banks. She also travels back to India to provide dental care and education to the less fortunate there.

Last year i started the process of dental implants. Of corse this can be an scary experience going into it. But the whole Staff at Comfort Dental made me feel so comfortable and put me at ease. It was a long process but with such great service with the whole staff it made the process go by quickly and with ease. Any questions or concerns I've ever had they always respond quickly and get done what needs to be done. I've always been afraid of the dentist but since going here it's totally changed how i feel and I'm not afraid anymore. I 100% recommend coming here for whatever reason you may need

Everyone in the office is so pleasant and helpful and the doctor is lovely. She takes the time to get to know her patients and remembers things we discussed at our last appointment, which is really nice to not just feel like another set of teeth. She's also gentle and understanding with my fear of needles!

Let me start by sharing that I have never been a fan of visiting the dentist as a child and even now as an adult. To me, the dentist equals anxiety! I moved to Northern California 14 years ago and did extensive research to learn what Dental Office I want to consider. I feel blessed to have found Dr. Porwal at Comfort Dental. She is extremely knowledgeable and I often remind her that she is an artist in her profession as she ensures I never feel any pain for any simple or extensive procedures. Dr. Porwal and the staff are caring people who are passionate about their work and the clients they serve. They act with empathy to ensure a comfortable experience for people of all ages. I truly appreciate their attention to detail in the quality of work, office cleanliness, and customer service. As a loyal and happy customer, I highly recommend this establishment. For more than forty years I've had serious periodontal issues. Over that time I have been a patient of six different dentists. Seven is my lucky number, because I joined Comfort Dental Care a few years ago, initially to shorten my commute to the other dentist. From day one I was the winner. With the help of Dr, Porwal and her excellent, professional staff, I received better care, a healthier smile, great communication, and no commute. Ten years or more ago, I had a dental emergency and was able to be seen by Dr. Porwal of Comfort Dental. I was so nervous at the time, but was so pleased with the service that I have made Comfort Dental my family's choice for our dental needs! Very professional staff and personable at the same time. The office is equipped with all the new gadgets that make the visit even more easier. Dr. Porwal and her staff are very knowledgeable and take very good care of your teeth's health. I made the right choice many many years ago!!

Comfort Dental is truly what it says. I have been a patient over 6 year and have yearly dental issues from fillings to tooth removals and implants. The staff is so friendly and caring and Dr. P is amazing! She makes sure you are comfortable and pain free throughout the procedure. She's is so knowledgeable and explains everything. I chose Comfort Dental in Discovery Bay after very careful research into the qualifications of Dr Porwal and the overwhelming positive response of her patients I am pleasantly impressed that she more than lived up to my expectations.
