My experiences here been wonderful. The stuff always nice and helpful. Especially Corina, u the best girl. U always there when i need the help. Thank u so much everybody. I am happy and excited to have a beutiful smile!!!

The work that I had done here was such a low quality procedure that I had to have the crown replace less than a year later. The doctor told me "I hope this works if not it needs to be extracted" yet now here I am with a crown that fits and no extraction. The dentist also snapped at me for following his directions because he changed his mind at some point on when to take the sleeping medication for the procedure. I highly recommend finding a place with practitioners who are skilled, thoughtful, and explain things clearly. Edit: Because I had to have this work done a second time, insurance wouldn't cover it and cost me about 2 grand. Not a cheap mistake.

The entire staff from check-in to Dr. Clawson was an excellent experience. Very kind and professional, especially Dr. Clawson's assistant, Plush.

Do not do business here. I would not recommend it. My whole family went through braces within this facility and had nothing but billing problems. Dr Steve had a hard time with staffing changes and the billing system wasn't done appropriately. My family was great customers for Dr. Steve. I spent thousands and thousands of dollars within his practice for him to turn around and send me to collections over a 2017...yes 2017 insurance billing error. WASNT my fault. I paid my portions. Never defaulted on treatment .Even after talking with him directly, the insurance company who stated his billing numbers were off and should have only been a 1/4 of what he was billing. a grievances was filed.. he admitting the staffing crisis and lack of billing being done correctly, he is wrong. I had 3 kids, myself and my niece received serviced from him. Due the math. He was paid for his services.. He should have done what's right. Insurance company even stated he was wrong in his numbers. Where he add the extra money is untrustworthy and sending me to collection questions the integrityof the business. My opinions. . . This is not my error to fix or pay for. Shows the mindset people. Even after years battling this COVID pandemic, we are all struggling. Shame on him.

My son had his braces through Dr. Steve who was fabulous. The billing and insurance debacle that has ensured is fully ridiculous. They failed to bill the new insurance company in early 2020, continued to bill the old insurance company despite receiving multiple denial EOB's as they were not billing the current policy. I knew nothing about this until March 2022 - 11 months after the braces had been removed. After FOUR months they STILL have not billed the insurance company, which they are obligated to do under the contract with the insurer as an in network provider. I have been lied to, yelled at, threatened to be sent to collections, and ultimately sit there in limbo while they seem to be doing nothing at all. My insurance company has called them to encourage they file the claim and I am at my wits end. They missed the timely filing with the insurer and seem quite resistant to filing a claim that is going to be denied due to their error leaving them on the hook, not I. Their mistakes and staffing issues do not equate to my financial loss. Dr. Steve and the clinical staff were fab - but it is a full on administrative nightmare that will not go away. Tip: take a photo of you providing your insurance cards to their staff (especially if it changes mid treatment plan) or they may try to blame you years later for their failure to update their records.

They where very professional they helped me with my fear of the dentist after 10 years of not going made me super comfortable and talked me thru everything then to rush I know I will be definitely going when needed this team is amazing thank you for being amazing people and being there for the patients

First and foremost huge thank you to Dr. Steve Clawson and the amazing staff Karina, Bri, and Plush. I haven't been to the dentist in 29 years and with pregnancy and time I needed the most care. I was really nervous and had my doubts about seeing a dentist and the process seemed unimaginable. I am so thankful I took that leap of faith and made my appointment with Comfort dental, Federal way WA. The staff was super welcoming and Dr. Steve was very reassuring and helpful on guiding me into the next steps I would need to do in order to start my clear Aligners. Karina, went the extra mile and recommended me to an amazing dentist clinic to get 4 wisdom teeth pulled and 11 fillers. And as scared I am of needles, they literally put me in the best hands to receive that care. Quick and easy ! Today I just got my aligners in and I couldn't be anymore happier than I am right now ! Seriously, they have taken care me the first time I've met them and still taking care of me now ! I am beyond thankful and grateful for amazing people like Bri & Karina especially for being understanding and welcoming and most of all kind and real ! and Plush for installing these aligners with grace ! They genuinely go above and beyond for their clients ! I highly recommend! They literally changed my life in the most positive way! Thank you All !

I would love to share my amazing experience. I decided to get braces because my teeth have shifted and I wanted to have perfect teeth , starting the process I was nervous but everyone was so welcoming and very helpful ! Dr.Steve Clawson is the best one of the nicest very outgoing amazing orthodontist I've never met . Payment plans are very affordable and very easy to set up , appointment wise they have two locations Lakewood and federal way, they alternate their days which is amazing when you have to move around . Checking in for appointments is very easy and wait time for appointments I have never waited more than 5 minutes they are fast and amazing . I just got done with my treatment and it was a bitter sweet feeling , amazing because no more braces ! But sad I won't see the team or Dr. Steve . I always recommend comfort dental ! If I can give them more stars I would . I am obsessed with my teeth !

It was not the best experience I went to my first appointment for braces and when I arrived they were giving away one of the receptionists and they did not attend me because I did not understand the language well, I told them that I understood 70% and he told me that he did not I was going to reschedule my appointment that they were not going to tend me.

The staff are absolutely the best, like family welcoming. Dr.Closson made the process fast and easy, explainede everything in a way for me to understand. Price is reasonable. Receptionists Corina and Bree are always there to help with any concerns

The cost was reasonable for what was done. Also, excellent advice from the specialist. Shown options and WHY what was needed should be done. For Adults who want to be treated as grown ups and who care about money spent. A great place to visit for dental care.

This orthadonist is one of a kind . The staff feels like family and work so well together . Everytime I go Corina lights up my day . She is kind and caring , such a rare find . She is amazing !!!

I love this place. Had 4 teeth pulled and the doctor made sure to check with me every step of the way and made sure I was comfortable. I wouldn't want any more teeth pulled but if I have to I would definitely go back to them. Doctor Scott the orthodontist is also fantastic and is always so welcoming.

I'm regretting for the refill service I got there,One of my tooth already destroyed by one of the dentist who was refilling my teeth,I can't drink hot either cold water because my teeth are now so sensitive.Also, I can't smile like I used before ; I talked to the dentist and he said to me "sorry it was just a mistake and if you want your money back I will be willing to give back to you" I said big no because my teeth will never be the same again.After,I was seen by different dentists in different dental clinic nothing they can do to fix it and about it, only God understands my feeling and pain I'm going through. I don't know if someone does that to you listens to the innermost of his/her heart's voice and soul and follow code of conduct/ethics.
