Dr. Adam Naylor is a middle child raised in a household of six siblings from a small farming community in Illinois. After graduating high school he left on a two years Christian service mission to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Adam spent is time teaching of Christ and preforming service for the community. On returning to the States, he began his education graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2002. He then spent four more years getting is Doctorate of Dental Surgery with Honors from UNC. Once graduated he moved his family of four to Lincolnton, NC. He opened his first Dental office in 2007. Not stopping with one, he then opened up several more offices over the next couple of years. Adam grew up on stories from his grandfathers serving in WWII and felt a desire to serve his country. In 2017 he joined the US Army and completed his service contract posted in Wiesbaden, Germany. Doctor Naylor now devotes his time to working in his dental offices and traveling with his family. He is a Father of four children and his wife Darcy helps him with the book keeping. He is an avid lover of the outdoors and enjoys wandering the country with his wife and children. Adam treats each patient as family and loves helping them with their smiles.
Tara brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Comfort and Care Dentistry from over 16 years in the healthcare industry ranging from medical assistant, lab management, and billing and coding in the home health and dentistry fields. Tara is happily married to her high school sweetheart Ricky, has a beautiful teenage daughter Madison, two Yorkies Jax and Benji, a German Shepard named Bailey, and a pasture full of cows. Tara enjoys teaching Sunday school, playing volleyball, going shopping with her mom, and spending time with her family.
Dawn has been in the dental field for twenty-eight years as a dental assistant. She joined the Comfort and Care team in 2007 when Dr. Naylor opened his first practice. Five years ago she became the Insurance Coordinator at Comfort and Care Dentistry of Stanley. For the last twenty years she has served as a dental assistant with the Department of Health and Human Services Natural Disaster Medical System with DMORT, an organization she is very proud to be a member of. Dentistry is something that she has been passionate about for many years. Helping patients navigate the ins and outs of their dental insurance benefits and making our patients feel at ease in the office brings her joy. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and pet Maltese, Toby. She loves reading, baking and visiting Disney World with her daughter as much as possible.
Holly has been a Dental Hygienist since she graduated from Catawba Valley Community College in 2010. She has been with our practice since 2012. Holly loves being a hygienist because it is so rewarding. She enjoys getting to know her patients while improving their oral health. She is proud to be part of a dental team that goes above and beyond to ensure each patient has a great dental experience and that is patient is comfortable every step of the way. In her free time Holly enjoys vacationing, horseback riding, and spending time with friends and family.
Amy loves meeting and educating her patients. She graduated from Halifax Community College in 2010. Amy is originally from Eastern North Carolina, and moved to our area in 2019. She and her husband, Tyler, have a new baby girl, two sweet dogs, and a cat. They enjoy spending time with family when not working.
Kim has been with Comfort and Care Dentistry of Stanley since 2014. Kim enjoys helping patients feel at ease when they come into our office. In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, spending time with her family and friends, and loving on her precious Chocolate Lab Laddie and Boston Terrier Bella. Kim's smile is contagious to any and everyone she meets.
Maddie has been a dental assistant at Comfort and Care Dentistry for almost two years. She was certified at the Lake Wylie School of Dental Assisting in 2019. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going kayaking, and being with her two fur babies, Finley and Brody. Her main goal as a dental assistant is to her all her patients reach their goal for a better smile!
