Dr. Steven Peterson knew he wanted to be a dentist from the time he was a child. His own childhood dentist was calm and caring, and that informed the kind of dental professional Dr. Peterson wanted to be. He focuses on treating the oral health of his patients efficiently and effectively in a way that helps them feel comfortable, without pressuring them into treatments or services they may not actually want or need. He takes great comfort in knowing his patients are happy and well taken care of.
Dr. Peterson met his lovely wife in Sri Lanka while serving as a missionary. Theyve made their home in Royse City, Texas, with their three children, Grant, Shreya, and Beckham, where they enjoy the friendly, small-town feel. They are an active family and love spending time outdoors. Dr. Petersons hobbies include hiking, camping, fishing, and training for triathlons.

I have always found changing dentist when moving to a new area, very challenging and haven't been able to find that perfect fit anytime. However this time were different; from the moment I stepped into their office I got a really good feel. The dentist really took time to listen to me, no attempt to rush me or my decision making. I felt comfortable, safe and well taken care of. I will recommend Comfort Care Dental to all friends and family!

This dental office has the greatest Dentist and Dental Assistants I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. They are affordable as well. I would highly recommend them. They use the latest technology that is very interesting

Dr.Peterson was so professional and he made me feel really comfortable. I was so nervous but the staff at Comfort Care Dental are amazing. Christie is amazing at the front desk. This is by far the best experience seeing a dentist that I have ever had.

I went in for a second opinion on a broken tooth which the first dentist I visited said they tooth could only be pulled. Dr. Miller evaluated the tooth and was able to save the tooth and crown it. The customer care and friendliness of the staff are phenomenal. I will definitely be using Dr. Miller and comfort care for all my future dental care. Thank you so much!!!

Welcoming and friendly staff. On time appointment. Dr. Peterson explained everything as he was replacing a crown. His dental assistant was very kind and helpful! We came here following our dental hygienist, Amy, and are thrilled with the service and price. Update 2/14/2022. Still love this office. I broke a tooth eating ice! They got me in quickly and I now am sporting my second crown from them. Very pleased!

They were so accommodating as I had some gum pull off an old crown at 3:30pm and they made a little room for me at 5 and I was out the door by 5:30! Back on and epoxied and good to go! NICE STAFF!

DR. Peterson and staff at Comfort Care Dental the best dental experience I have ever had, front office coordinated with my insurance company to ensured maximum use of my benefits. DR. Peterson did an awesome job on my complex surgery to correct past dental work. After the procedure I was called daily to checkup on my progress. Very friendly staff and even though Dr Peterson is not there Dr Miller is great too. And when you do have an issue it is quickly addressed and corrected.
