We had the best experience! Dr. Forbes and his staff are unbelievable! My daughter is 12 and she has had so many bad experiences with dentist and getting teeth pulled. They explained everything and were very patient with her, spending extra time when needed. They even gave us a sweet care package to leave including an ice pack, some surprises for her, and detailed care instructions post surgery. Thank you Dr. Forbes and team :)

Called about rescheduling my appointment for my referral because I missed the first one and the woman who answered the phone acted like her pay check was short because I didn't make my first appointment. I'll just go somewhere else.

Felt very rushed and almost no post operative information explained on how to move forward. Only to change gauze every 30 min until bleeding stopped. wouldn't wait to send our prescription where we wanted. The one Office staff member very unfriendly nor understanding. Asked physician what signs to look for for any complications and he said .. oh you will know. Very disappointed after spending more than $3000

We had a horrible experience at this office. I have a son with special needs. The staff were not the least bit understanding or flexible. They clearly prefer to take care of robots who don't have any emotions or concerns when they arrive for procedures. I requested THREE times to help get my son, a minor with autism, settled in and comfortable for surgery. I even called ahead about my son's anxiety! By the time I finally was allowed in the back, I could tell the doctor had already decided he had no use for us. He acted like he my son was too much effort. Then, we were told the doctor would procede if we would wait an hour. We agreed to do so. We waited 20-30 minutes, only to have the office manager, Bethany, tell us that the doctor actually would not do the procedure today afterall. All of this started with a parent trying to make a child comfortable before a procedure. Bethany told me in so many words that patients can ask questions during the consultation but on the day of the procedure, patients are expected to come in the back office ALONE, shut up, open wide and get the surgery done without needing anything additional and GOD FORBID ask questions. I can tell you with 100% assurance what they did care about. They made sure they got their $ within 60 seconds of being in the office and they made certain they wouldn't be held over even 1 minute past 5 pm. We won't be back and I'm pretty sure they won't care since they also told me they were completely booked up for the entire summer.

I'll find another oral surgeon. They're all over the place. Dr. Bergman has a sense of humor that comes in somewhere between odd and bizarre. OTOH, perhaps that's the way it is when you're from Coocoomo.

I have been fighting with these people for SIX MONTHS to file a claim with the correct insurance. Before you ask, yes, I provided the correct card. I have called them over, and over and over and over... I just checked AGAIN today. They HAVE NOT filed a claim, but keep sending me bills, after I paid them $2000 at the time of service. Now, I will be fair, Dr. Bergman was great, followed up, no issue. The people that claim to file CLAIMS WITH INSURANCE AFTER 6 CALLS, not so pleased. And also, I will admit, they brought the wrong kid out to me when I rolled around the building in the pick up zone! I have two more kids that will eventually need wisdom teeth removed. This WILL NOT be the place! NOT PLEASED!!

This place is a joke. If ever there was a place that needed to get it together it's this one. On two occasions I have traveled a half hour to their offices to be greeted with "please hurry up and wait". Go somewhere else. This place isn't worth the hassle.

I visited this office in June to have a wisdom tooth removed. Before this visit, I had not been to a dentist in over 35 years. Dr. Forbes clearly explained the procedure and answered all questions. His staff was professional and helpful, and most of all the procedure was successful with almost no post-op discomfort whatsoever. Dr. Forbes personally called the next day to check on me. If there is such a thing as a "pleasant experience" at an oral surgeon's office, I had it at Columbus Oral and Maxillofacial. If you need the services of an oral surgeon, I highly recommend this office.

We've been here several times and keep coming back! My oldest daughter had her wisdom teeth removed here and it was painless and the staff was amazing. Forbes is very good at explaining the process and he personally calls to follow up. We actually paid more money out of pocket to go here instead of the other surgeon who was in network. It was worth every penny. My youngest daughter had a few baby teeth removed and a frenectomy. Great surgeon!

This place is AWESOME! I had a wisdom tooth growing in at (basically) a 90deg angle and was cutting into my cheek. They MADE SURE I WAS COMFORTABLE, and removed it with minimal pain. Staff is super nice and polite. Billing is understandable and fair. Dr. Bergman and staff....THANK YOU!!!

Extremely nice and helpful staff. Price for 2 wisdom teeth removal w/ nitrous was not that horrible after a deposit was made. My appointment took almost no time at all and I was given a blanket, talked to, and given a lot of info on how to take care of my mouth after the removal. Very professional people. Highly recommend.

Dr. Forbes is extremely professional. Before my daughter's extraction he thoroughly explained everything we could expect before, during and after the procedure. He was very informative and very friendly, along with the rest of the staff. I highly recommend Columbus Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Just happened to go online to check hours for this practice and was shocked by the negative reviews I saw. I have seen Dr. Forbes several times, for consults and implants and have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Forbes. He is gentle, pleasant, explains everything in detail and gives you choices of what treatments he can recommend. No high pressure, very friendly and comforting. Yes, they do charge for consults, but who doesn't? Otherwise, I could imagine them spending an entire day seeing "consults" for free. Not practical! Time is valuable to everyone, and even oral surgeons have bills to pay! I cannot recommend Dr. Forbes enough, even though the last thing I'd like to have on my schedule is an appointment for oral surgery!

Recently had four wisdom teeth extracted here. Dr. Forbes is excellent and explains everything you need to know about the procedure during the consultation. The extraction went by in an instant and I didn't feel a thing.
