At Columbus Family Dental, our team of Doctors work together striving for one common goal to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of dental care available. Our Drs. on staff have completed extensive training and continue to stay up to date with the latest advancements by completing vast amounts of continuing education courses.

Dr. Adam Forster has been a long-time resident of Southern Wisconsin. He grew up in Baraboo and went to high school there. After graduation, he attended Hamline University in St. Paul, MN and received his bachelors degree. Adam then traveled down the road to the University of Minnesota to complete his Dental School Training and graduated in 2004 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduating in 2004, Adam moved to Columbus and began practicing dentistry. He enjoys practicing with an emphasis on utilizing all of todays newest technologies and latest dental procedures. Adam believes a focus on staying current with continuing education is a must. He has completed over 1000 hours of continuing education since being in practice, focusing on CEREC dentistry and implants, orthodontics, and cosmetic work.

With the opening of Prairie Lakes Dental in 2014, Dr. Adam has enjoyed bringing these services to the Sun Prairie / East Madison area. Aside from practicing dentistry, Adam enjoys teaching as well. He has been a trainer for Patterson Dental, the distributors of the CEREC (CAD-CAM machine). Adam also has lectured to other doctors and dental staff on various topics in multiple venues.

Adam has been married to his wife Sara since 2005. They have two young children, Gwendolyn and Lincoln, and an Olde English Bulldogge named Rudy. In his free time, Adam enjoys golfing and playing tennis and watching his kids play various sports. He is an avid Green Bay Packers fan, and enjoys attending Badger football and basketball games.

Dr. Matthew Clary grew up in Baraboo, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where he received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science. Staying in the state, Matt achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette School of Dentistry. In 2006, Dr. Matt joined Dr. Adam at Columbus Family Dental, where he has been helping his patients achieve and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles. Dr. Matt strives to stay up-to-date with all of the latest treatment and techniques. To do this, he has taken countless hours of continuing education with a strong emphasis on CEREC (CAD-CAM machine) technology. Dr. Matt enjoys the teaching aspect of dentistry and has also been a CEREC trainer for Patterson Dental.

Other than dentistry, Matt loves spending time with his wife Holly of 12 years and his two young children, Anna and Roland. Matt also enjoys playing basketball, reading, watching the Packers, and is an avid Badger basketball fan.

Dr. Andrew was born and raised about twenty miles south of Milwaukee. He spent his early years following his Dad around at the nursing home where he worked. Dr. Andrew has always had a love for helping people and found himself interested in the medical field at a young age. He attended Marquette University where he was involved in Neuroscience research and majored in Biomedical Sciences. Afterward, he went on to Marquette Dental School to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

After dental school, Dr. Andrew wanted to spend his career in a place where he could develop long lasting relationships with his patients. He has found that setting in both Waterloo and Columbus, where he has spent the last seven years getting to know his patients and falling in love with the local community.

Professionally, Dr. Andrew enjoys helping people restore and maintain a healthy mouth. He enjoys continuing education and has specifically focused his time in the areas of root canals, implants, and comprehensive CEREC dentistry.

Dr. Andrew spends his free time hunting, fishing, cooking, watching the Brewers, and spending time with his wife, Kate, and their two children. He and Kate enjoy helping their local community in a variety of ways and are very involved in their local church.

Dr. Martin grew up in Northern Illinois and knew he wanted to be a dentist from a young age. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University and enjoyed his time there so much that he later decided to move to Wisconsin with his family. Dr. Martin currently resides in Sun Prairie, WI with his wife, Carly, and their three young children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching soccer, watching the Packers play, traveling, biking, gaming and reading.

Dr. Martin believes the best way to keep current with the latest advances in dentistry is through many hours of rigorous continuing education. Using state-of-the-art, minimally-invasive dental procedures, he has applied his unique blend of artistic and technical skills to produce results for his patients that are both long-lasting and aesthetically pleasing. He prides himself on developing lasting relationships with his patients and educating them on ways to improve and maintain good oral health.

Dr. Emma grew up in Central Wisconsin. She received her undergraduate degree from Marquette University in Biomedical Sciences and then continued at Marquette University for her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She has a special interest in getting to know her patients and following them through a lifetime of healthy smiles.

Dr. Emma Sowieja spent her youth in Merrill, Wisconsin, (north of Wausau) along with her brother, Alex. Her father Dr. Charles Sowieja, is also a dentist, and her mother, Ginny is the business manager of their office, Dr. Charles Sowieja, DDS, SC, Family Dental Care, the only privately owned dental office in Merrill.
