I was raised in Canton, Ohio and graduated from Kent State University. I graduated from dental school and completed my Endodontic residency at The Ohio State University. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our two adult daughters and our cat. My hobbies include gardening and cycling: Ive cycled several times in the Pelotonia charitable bike ride to support cancer research at The James Cancer Center at OSU.
I am originally from Columbus, Ohio. From there, I attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee for my undergraduate studies. I earned my dental degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and completed my Endodontic residency, earning my Masters of Science from The Ohio State University. Soon after, I joined Dr. John Haidet in private practice

Very friendly and comforting. I have a fear of needles and having three syringes of numbing agent needing to go into my mouth was not fun. But the doctor and the aid were both patient, asked what I needed, and worked quickly to make my root canal as seamless as possible.

"Dr. Susi did a root canal procedure for me today and I can say if anyone has to have one of these done this is the place to go and I would ask for Dr. Susi again without hesitation he made me feel comfortable. I had no pain and now the Novocain has wore off and I still don't have any pain. I can't say how it would be for you, but he's definitely a 10 out of a 10 for root canals. Louis is also a good listener."

Dr. Magness and Jillian were amazing even when I was literally shaking in the chair. I've only ever had one other root canal before this experience at a different place and it was terrible so I was a nervous wreck. Dr. Magness made my second root canal a fairytale compared to my first one. Thank you, thank you! I hope I never need another one but if I do, I will only come to Columbus Endodontic Specialists.

Had a root canal done. Never felt the numbing shots, never felt the drilling or filling, and no pain afterwards. I'm not even taking a single ibuprofen tablet. The staff there was professional and incredibly nice.

The whole experience was exceptional. Approaching this root canal procedure, I was fearful and didn't know what to expect but everything was explained thoroughly and the care I received was professional and compassionate. Who knew a root canal could be such a pleasant experience! Dr Susi and staff saw me immediately so I wouldn't have to struggle with pain. Fabulous practice!

I must say five stars. Was treated with so much care. Doctor explained the full procedure to me. Made sure I was comfortable. I was crying and nervous the full office was caring and understanding. I was totally happy with service I received and the care of each person at this doctors office.

I had my root canal yesterday morning, Friday. I had waited just over a week. The abscess came back after the root canal. The pain killer, tramadol, isn't strong enough. It's been a horrible experience. I don't know what will happen next. Maybe it's bad luck. I don't see many bad reviews.

Dr. Susi is the Best!! After suffering for weeks with a painful tooth Dr. Susi was Patient and understanding of my dental anxiety. He was able to go in and perform the Root Canal with no pain! He is the Best!!

I was extremely nervous going into this, it was my first root canal and I did not know what to expect. Dr. Magness & his assistant Haley were very friendly and personable. Through out the whole process Dr. Magness was always reassuring me that I'm okay & checking on me! Haley was so sweet & made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend going here to anyone that needs a root canal!

Dr. Susi and his staff were wonderful. He went above and beyond to re-attach a filling after it popped of before the root canal. I know no one wants to have a root canal but if you do, this is the place to go.
