The Macoupin County Public Health Department is a local county government service supported through Federal, State and County taxes. The Department is governed by a Board of Health which is appointed by the Macoupin County Board.

The Macoupin County Public Health Department believes that good health is a valuable right for all individuals, groups and the community. We are dedicated to serve and work with the people in the community to prevent disease, to promote wellness and to protect the health of the residents of Macoupin County.
The Macoupin County Public Health Department was established in 1983 by the Macoupin County Board and is governed by the Macoupin County Board of Health. When it began, there was only one site and nine employees. Today there are more than fifty employees working in four different sites.

They Lied to Me, After income verification, they told me it was 50. At check-in, they told me that the price is now 75 without notifying me before about the price change. The old lady that sat at the skinny front desk was nice, but the other old lady that entered later was rude. I took 2 hours off my job, and I lost money for nothing. When you call, make sure to write down the name of the receptionist and what they told you as well as recording the call because they aren't taking responsibility. Verify your price with the MCPHD.

Everytime they schedule an appt i go in for the appt and they tell me I have missed it. This has happened 3 times. They wrote my appt wrong on the appt card 3 times. This is ridiculous.
