His patients keep coming back (some for almost 20 years!) not only because hes one of the top dentists in the Portland area, but because hes a genuine friend to everyone that walks through the door. Its easy to see he cares about more than just your smile, he wants the best for every patient.
Dr. Dustin received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the prestigious Oregon Health Sciences University in 1997, and since graduating he has he has taken hundreds of hours of continuing dental education to stay current and cutting edge for his patients. His list of expertise and training is too long to list, but well give it our best shot!He is a graduate of the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum. This is an over-the-shoulder learning program where cosmetic dentistry is taught hands-on by some of the finest dentists in the field. He has received Advanced Certification II training in Invisalign and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Dustin has also received oral sedation training from the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. This allows Columbia River Dentistry to safely sedate patients that would like to sleep through their dental procedure.
He has attended the White Cap Institute, which is a hands-on training program for the surgical placement of dental implants and has successfully placed and restored dental implants in practice since 2000. He is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
When hes not busy giving patients a beautiful smile, he enjoys mountain biking, golfing, water-skiing, watching college football, catching a good NBA game, and spending time with family. He and his wife Christy can tell you about all their adventures touring national parks on their motorcycles are the proud parents of three daughters: Alyssa, Avery, and Cassidy.
Dr. Paria Mazareei is a general dentist who is passionate about the dental health and aesthetic appeal of her patients. Dr. Mazareei takes pride in offering the finest in patient care and services to each and every patient individually. After receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Dr. Mazareei made the cross country move to the Pacific Northwest to kickstart her career and start practicing what she loves best. Having a caring and nurturing approach is a big part of Dr. Mazareeis practice philosophy, and with her gentle touch, she helps create a comfortable environment for all her patients, especially ones who may have dental anxiety. Dr. Mazareei enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, photography, and going on hikes with her sweet dog Cosmo.
Originally from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Dr. Gutnik attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN receiving his Bachelor of Arts with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Afterward, Dr. Gutnik attended Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Oregon Dental Association, Delta Sigma Delta Fraternity, and Multnomah Dental Society. When not working, Dr. Gutnik spends his time exploring different areas of the Pacific Northwest. He continues studies in violin performance and enjoys his role as 2nd principal violinist for the Jewish Community Orchestra, keeping up to date with the Portland Timbers, and exploring the vastly large food scene of Portland. Columbia River Dentistry proudly welcomes Dr. Gutnik and we know he will provide excellent care to our patients!

Better experience than Clear Choice. Dr. Nathan came out and introduced himself which was nice . The choices offered might work for us.

Friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Timely. Provide good explanations. Don't feel rushed. I would appreciate if they selected more mellow and uplifting music - last time it was loud rock and kind of depressing words. Not very relaxing. I do like the massage option on the dental chairs - helps get my mind of the work being done. UPDATED: 8/7/22 After I posted my review commenting on music, Columbia River Dentistry office contacted me and thanked me for the input & indicated that they would modify music selections. I appreciate that responsiveness.

Had a crown fall off of a back molar...required an extraction...so impressed totally painless...almost totally painless shots was such a plus. First time visit...I have found my new forever dentist:)

The whole team at Columbia River Dentistry is awesome and amazing. Doctor Nathan Dustin is 1st rate or as my dad would say top shelf. For all of my critical needs I go there even know they are outside of my insurance . When it comes to your teeth and all the problems I have seen other people have, I only want someone in there that I fully trust . Give them the opportunity and you won't be dissatisfied .

I had work which included caps, implants and wisdom teeth removed. best dental experience in my 69 years. Dental cleaning also was high on the approval list.

A crown that was done by a previous office (Which was purchased by current office) 2 years and one month ago popped off Friday. Just My luck, it happened to be Memorial Day weekend. The text messaging communication system after hours Friday was perfect; I was able to share my information and explain to them the issue. First thing Tuesday, I received a call and an appointment immediately. Dr Dustin and the office prepped the tooth and cleaned up the cement in the crown and re-cemented everything free of charge. What I am bummed about tho is the tooth was initially tapered too much so the crown may again come undone and would need to be replaced with an entirely new crown that I would have to pay for.

Great teeth cleaning experience! Savannah was my hygienist and she did the most thorough job of cleaning and polishing my teeth that I have ever had. Great staff and easy location to find.

I recently had oral surgery with Dr. Nathan Dustin. His office and staff were Covid prepared! Dr. Dustin articulates the process well, therefore I know what to expect. With his reliable assistant, Wendy, the procedure was seamless. I appreciate Dr. Dustin's experience, advice and talent! It is very apparent Dr. Dustin loves his work and cares for his patients. 5 stars every time!
