His patients keep coming back (some for almost 20 years!) not only because hes one of the top dentists in the Portland area, but because hes a genuine friend to everyone that walks through the door. Its easy to see he cares about more than just your smile, he wants the best for every patient.
Dr. Dustin received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the prestigious Oregon Health Sciences University in 1997, and since graduating he has he has taken hundreds of hours of continuing dental education to stay current and cutting edge for his patients. His list of expertise and training is too long to list, but well give it our best shot!He is a graduate of the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum. This is an over-the-shoulder learning program where cosmetic dentistry is taught hands-on by some of the finest dentists in the field. He has received Advanced Certification II training in Invisalign and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Dustin has also received oral sedation training from the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. This allows Columbia River Dentistry to safely sedate patients that would like to sleep through their dental procedure.
He has attended the White Cap Institute, which is a hands-on training program for the surgical placement of dental implants and has successfully placed and restored dental implants in practice since 2000. He is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
When hes not busy giving patients a beautiful smile, he enjoys mountain biking, golfing, water-skiing, watching college football, catching a good NBA game, and spending time with family. He and his wife Christy can tell you about all their adventures touring national parks on their motorcycles are the proud parents of three daughters: Alyssa, Avery, and Cassidy.
Dr. Paria Mazareei is a general dentist who is passionate about the dental health and aesthetic appeal of her patients. Dr. Mazareei takes pride in offering the finest in patient care and services to each and every patient individually. After receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Dr. Mazareei made the cross country move to the Pacific Northwest to kickstart her career and start practicing what she loves best. Having a caring and nurturing approach is a big part of Dr. Mazareeis practice philosophy, and with her gentle touch, she helps create a comfortable environment for all her patients, especially ones who may have dental anxiety. Dr. Mazareei enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, photography, and going on hikes with her sweet dog Cosmo.
Originally from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Dr. Gutnik attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN receiving his Bachelor of Arts with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Afterward, Dr. Gutnik attended Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Oregon Dental Association, Delta Sigma Delta Fraternity, and Multnomah Dental Society. When not working, Dr. Gutnik spends his time exploring different areas of the Pacific Northwest. He continues studies in violin performance and enjoys his role as 2nd principal violinist for the Jewish Community Orchestra, keeping up to date with the Portland Timbers, and exploring the vastly large food scene of Portland. Columbia River Dentistry proudly welcomes Dr. Gutnik and we know he will provide excellent care to our patients!

I used to feel super welcomed, understood, and heard at this dentist office. A wonderful Saint of a woman named Catherine used to work at the front desk, she was the main reason for this feeling. Now that she's gone, it's all gone down hill. I don't feel like they actually care about the patients here. Before I was told that I could make payments on my bills and there was no problem. Now apparently they "don't do that." Also, I was told I had 3 cavities on the right side of my mouth in my last visit and now I have 5 apparently? Where did the other 2 come from? Why wasn't this information given to me already? I'm seriously considering taking my business elsewhere. There are way too many inconsistencies and it makes me uncomfortable.

This is absolutely the best dentistry I've EVER been to. Not only is all the staff so sweet and friendly but the office it's self is very clean and so well put together. They have the sweetest little fluffy dog too (he's definitely a patient favorite). They were able to see me in such a timely manner and were so helpful with all the little questions I had about my care and understanding the insurance and billing. Catherine was an absolute jem. She truly made my experience so easy and stress free. This office has a group of professionals who work so well together is great! If you're questioning on being seen here, stop, this is your sign! 100% 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I am a new patient at Columbia River Dentistry but I can already say that the staff is great to work with. I am retired and have never had my teeth whitened, and after decades as a smoker and many more as a coffee drinker I was quite embarrassed by how my teeth looked and always tried to use closed-mouth smile. Now I smile like a normal person because of the fantastic job they have done whitening my teeth! I would have been happy with a small improvement but now I have beautiful, very white teeth. I never thought my teeth would look this great. Thank you to to the 122nd Ave team!

I haven't been to the dentist in a while so I was a little nervous but when I got there everyone was so welcoming especially Enzo!!! He's the cutest little puppy I've ever seen and he made the experience so much easier. The staff is super friendly and answers every question you have and make sure that they put your health and well being above everything else. If you are a person in need of a new dental office this is the place to go.

The staff are amazing! That really sums it up. I've got high anxiety when going to the dentist and every single staff member, from the front desk, to the dental assistants, hygienist, to the dentist himself were so friendly and welcoming and calm. They did everything they could to be comforting, explained what they were doing, have me breaks whenever I needed them, even let me know when the noises or sensations would increase so I wouldn't be startled or extra worried something was wrong. And Enzo the fluffy puppers was there on my first visit which made me smile so much and let me pet him anytime I want actually I'm the dentist chair, which also really helped the wonderful, welcoming, relaxing vibe. I can't recommend them enough!

such an amazing place! made me feel like i'm at home. the staff is sooo friendly and polite and the precious dental doodle enzo (the puppy) is the cutest thing ever!! i absolutely adored going to the dentist for once. i definitely recommend this place 10/10. do yourself a favor and come here!! you will not regret it!!

Katherine was welcoming and personable from the very first phone call. When we walked in she greeted us by name! The hospitality is always displayed by everyone we come into contact with, these days that's saying a lot, since we all seem to be over worked. Dr. Gutnik is very detailed, sits down with us and explains the whole process of my husbands dental needs and answers all our questions. Rico is funny, welcoming and makes sure my husband is comfortable throughout the whole process of every appointment. I'm very satisfied with the dentistry and how they seem to go above and beyond for their clients. I would recommend to anyone that asks. This has been a long dental journey for my husband and They are still absolutely amazing from their hospitality to their care. We are so lucky to have found them after so many other terrible dental experiences in the past with other clinics. Thank you Dr. Gutnik, Katherine and Rico for being the best of the dental health care field. And Enzo, my daughter loves visiting because of the dog! Just the cherry on top!

I needed a ton of work done in a very little amount of time, due to my traveling job. The staff was MORE than accommodating. Assessed my situation. Took care of multiple problems due to years of my own neglect, and of course Covid sidelining me from getting any work done for a couple years. They set me on a better way to take care of my teeth, and moving forward I know through their great insight and my experience, I am 100% satisfied and will take better care of my teeth. Would recommend anyone to go there...if not just to meet Enzo

Partially masked receptionist. Refused to do a simple cleaning unless I agreed to $3000 of treatment over several visits... During Covid!!!! IMO these people are ethically challenged.

Having had a bad a experience as a child I avoided going to the dentist. But that's no longer the case. Found a great office and the staff here are wonderful always going out and beyond for their patients. Debbie welcomes me every time and makes my experience from the start very welcoming, from helping me schedule to running the numbers financially. Krista is very gentle when I go in for my cleanings, and explained the importance of oral hygiene. Dr Gutnik and his assistant Rigo did a great job when I came in for fillings and a crown. They guided me through the whole thing and explained what to expect from the start. Thank you Columbia River Dental for dealing with my anxie self and being more than just my routine dental check up. They're like family and I highly recommend them!!!

The team at the office was thoughtful, patient, and knowledgeable. They made sure my comfort was addressed and made time for questions and concerns.
