Dr. James West has been practicing as an orthodontic specialist for 25 years. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He then completed a general practice residency at the Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and an orthodontic residency at Oregon Health Sciences University.
Away from the office, Dr. West and his wife Amanda, enjoy their four teenage children and the great outdoors. Both are avid snow sport enthusiasts as well as kite surfers. They can often be found enjoying the Columbia River or hiking and camping in the backcountry.
