I had a infected tooth extracted here a little over a month ago. I had a VERY mixed experience. I was in a lot of pain and it pretty urgent. However they have a company policy that you must fill out all the paper work online before they will even schedule you for a time. Very strange, usually most places let you schedule then you fill out the paper work. Regardless I did what they asked then called back next day (a Friday) early afternoon around 2pm. No one answered so I left a voicemail. Never got a call back and I had to wait all weekend in pain. Then when finally I talked to them Monday they scheduled me for Wednesday. But then the next day on Tuesday they called saying they could not do that anymore and doctor was not available so I had to wait until Friday! So first they didnt call back in business hours making me wait all weekend just to schedule, then make me reschedule and wait longer cause of their own scheduling conflict? Meanwhile the infection is spreading and getting worse. Finally day of the surgery and they make me pay way more than expected because they claimed my insurance was refusing to pay for the bone graft. However I even looked it up on my insurance website and it said it was covered at 80%. Despite showing them that, they refused to double check with insurance and made me pay out of pocket over $600 extra! The good news is the procedure went well. Dr Woodward is a good oral surgeon. He seems to be very knowledgeable and skilled. The healing was slower than expected, but still I was mostly okay after a week. Now about a month later of course I find out my insurance did pay for the procedure they claimed they wouldnt. So i called them and they advised I have to wait until the end of the month before I get get refunded because thats when checks are cut. Meanwhile I am being charged interest every day on my credit card for something I should never had to pay in the first place! Now to make things even worse, I am suddenly having pain above extraction area over a month later. So I called to ask if it was normal to have pain still. They didnt really answer but said to come in for an appointment in 5 days. So now I have to wait 5 days to see if something might be wrong. I asked what Im supposed to do if it gets worse and she just said call us. So even though the Doctor seems to be good and extracted a very large difficult tooth without any major complications, their admin for billing and scheduling has been absolutely TERRIBLE!!!

I was pregnant and my teeth were infected. I was in pain. Dr. Woodward took 4 teeth out using local anesthesia. There was no pain during the procedure. After the extraction, my gums healed well.

Very professional very knowledgeable and a artist above being a dentist. I thought it was going to be rough but everyone was professional and caring.. This dentist really know his stuff. Dr Woodward is fantastic and.his staff. David Schlein

Both my Husband and I over the years have gone to Dr. Wu. He and his whole Staff are Amazing! I have had 2 dental implants and my husband recently had to have 3!!! He just finished up everything and looks incredible !!! Thanks Dr. Wu!

Never have I been soooo disrespected by any medical professional. However if you want a dog walking around while you are getting your teeth extracted. THIS IS YOUR PLACE . The Dr is extremely RUDE AND IGNORANT Update They called saying they would reschedule my appointment but since I left the review.... They Won't ..... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

I had a major tooth ache and needed an extraction asap. The front staff was quick and efficient with scheduling. The doctor was so nice and professional. He address any concerns and made me feel so comfortable. Best experience ever. I will be back for my implant.

Everyone at the office was very professional and friendly. My son needed a consultation before he was able to get his braces on. Thanks to Dr. Wu expertise he was able to get them right way. I highly recommend this office for all oral & surgery needs!!

Had to get a tooth pulled that I put off for way to long. Not only did the front staff get me an appointment as soon as possible but were so helpful about assisting me get all the information I needed as well. Dr. Woodward was absolutely amazing , made me feel very comfortable and talked me through everything. This is the first time I actually understood completely what was going on with my teeth . Dr Wu saw me for a follow up appointment and he is equally as great and talking me through the whole process making sure I understand what my next step is. If you hate going to the dentist like me but find yourself in a situation that you need a tooth pulled you have to go see Dr Wu and Dr Woodward. They are the best around!

This is the place to go for wisdom teeth extractions. Dr. Wu is the best as he is professional, listened to all of my questions, and got the job done painlessly and effortlessly. The entire team from Asa to Caitlin and the front office staff are organized, professional, and helpful. I was moving in 2 weeks and did not know where to go but wanted to support local business since I live near there and researched on google that he is one of the top dental surgeons in Columbia. If you are going for surgery, why not get the best in town? I was able to book a consultation and have my surgery the following week- such a blessing during these pandemic challenged times. Recovery is also easy as all the instructions are there for you by text or electronically. Go see Dr. Wu and his team today and get back the smile you deserve!

The new patient receptionist was wonderful! Although I couldn't utilize their services it was nice after calling around all morning to speak with someone that was professional but nice.

Both doctors are very nice and professional, I would have given them 5 stars. However, the experience dealing with the billing department was terrible. We didn't mind paying up front for whatever the estimate was. But it shouldn't take a battle to get the refund once the insurance claim was processed. A totally frustrating, unacceptable, and unnecessary struggle. Wouldn't want to deal with it again.

Dr. Woodward was such an amazing surgeon. I was a bit anxious about my extraction and he made the procedure so easy and explained everything and on top of that was so quick! The entire staff was very friendly.

I'd put off my wisdom teeth extraction for a handful of years now solely due to dreading the recovery, but I couldn't be more thankful that I was referred to Dr. Woodward when I finally had to bite the bullet. Not only was he very informative and assuring during the consultation, but he's obviously a gifted surgeon too, as I didn't have anything close to the pain and swelling that I was anticipating or that I'd seen my friends have after their wisdom teeth. Could not recommend him enough! The entire staff was also equally as lovely and helpful. Thank you everyone again!

Dr. Woodard and team were very calm and helpful with me. Everything was explained in a constructive manner with no judgment. The whole office is taking Covid matters extremely important. All the dental surgery gear is state of the Art.

I needed an emergency tooth extraction and a subsequent implant. It all happened very quickly, and I was feeling overwhelmed and stressed. I have had terrible dental care experiences, so I was extremely nervous. I found Dr. Woodward, and he was amazing! He was extremely caring, kind and reassuring. He made sure that I felt completely comfortable and that I couldn't feel anything. While I hope I never need another implant, if I did I would go back. I highly recommend this practice, especially if you are a nervous or cautious patient.
