Kristi is one of our talented registered dental assistants. She has always been interested in oral hygiene and has been in the dental field since March 2018. She values staying on the leading edge of the field and has taken continuing education courses in coronal polishing, nitrous oxide, and sealants. Kristi is an adrenaline junkie and in her free time she loves going on adventures.
Julie is our expanded functions dental assistant. Growing up, she had an interest in the dental field because her dentist's office allowed her to observe and shadow. She also had a great orthodontist as a teenager that helped her understand the value of a healthy, beautiful smile. Julie has a background in dental assisting and is now able to do fillings with her Expanded Functions certification. She has also pursued additional courses in coronal polishing, practice management, OSHA/HIPPA compliance, and chemical dependency. When she's not at the office, Julie loves kayaking and spending time with her family. She loves being around animals, traveling with her husband, and relaxing with a great Netflix series on.
Erica is a registered dental hygienist at our office. She has worked in this practice for over 17 years and has been taking care of most of our patients for many years. She enjoys working in dentistry because it allows her to help motivate people to value their oral health and achieve a lifetime of healthy smiles. Erica loves being a team leader who is trusted by fellow coworkers and patients. Her friendliness is contagious and she works hard to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible. When she's not at work, Erica likes to spend time with her husband of 18 years and their four boys who all play basketball and baseball. Her faith and her family are the most important things to her.
Erica is one of our registered dental hygienists. She has always wanted to help people in some kind of medical or dental capacity. After researching the different fields, dental hygiene was the one that fit her passion and allowed her to use her talents to their fullest. She attended dental hygiene school in Washington state and graduated with a bachelor's in dental hygiene. Erica has worked as a dental hygienist for two years now and loves making a noticeable difference in people's lives even in just an hour that she's with them. In her spare time, Erica enjoys adventures in the great outdoors, crafts and creative activities, and most of all spending time with family and friends.
Brandy is a registered dental assistant and our financial coordinator. She has been in the dental field for over 15 years and loves caring for and helping people. Brandy has been with Dr. Clayton from the beginning. You can often find Brandy working chairside with Dr. Clayton. She also works with patients to help them get the most from their insurance providers. She is an energetic people person and always goes above and beyond to assist others. Brandy has a loving husband and two boys. Together, they enjoy traveling and riding ATVs, hunting, camping, fishing, playing with their two dogs, and raising their 10 chickens.
Briana is a registered dental assistant as well as our scheduling coordinator. She has been in the dental field for 6 years and has a passion for caring for her patients whether it's clinical or administrative needs. Briana got her dental assisting license her senior year of high school. When she isn't at work you can often find Briana on the square visiting local shops with her husband Nick. She also enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, Cooper and Louie.
Ali is a Registered Dental Hygienist at the office. She has worked with our practice for almost four years but has recently transitioned to a full-time position in the last year. Ali loves partnering with her patients to improve and maintain optimum oral and systemic. When Ali is not in the office, you can usually find her out and about in Columbia. As a Columbia native, she is proud of her hometown and keeps up with the latest and greatest businesses and events happening around town.
Jessica has been working with Dr. Clayton for over a year now. Jessica has continued her education in courses in coronal polishing/sealant and N2O monitoring. When Jessica is not working, she enjoys Japanese culture, playing video games, and watching anime (Japanese cartoons). She has been married for over a year and a half.
Tiffany is a registered dental assistant as well as our treatment coordinator. She has worked in dentistry for 10 years. As a Columbia native, Tiffany enjoys serving the community and helping her patients. When she is not working or out about town, she spends her time camping and spending time with her husband and children.

Updated 10/26/22 I had another great cleaning by Erica B. She is always professional and efficient and offers great tips. Thanks Erica! As a bit of a work nomad, I've had dental work across the country from several different dentists. Dr. Clayton and her team are the best experience I have had. They do things differently. They take time to talk you through everything and make sure you are comfortable with everything they are doing. From the phone call the day before until I walked out the door after having 4 fillings, everything was done well and the dental work (front teeth) is absolutely invisible. Erica B, Julie, Brandy, and Dr. Clayton, thank you for a great experience!

I had a great experience at this facility! Everyone is so kind. Brandy at the front desk helped me and my husband. I was lucky enough to have my scans and cleaning done by Erica. I needed some work done and they got me in that afternoon!! Kristin took great care of me during my procedure and I felt very comfortable. Dr. Clayton educated me and kept me in the loop if everything she was doing. I spent a little under 6 hours that whole day in the office and it was a great experience. 10/10 recommend

Ali is a great hygienist! I hadn't gone to the dentist in years and suffer from anxiety, she was extremely helpful with this by explaining everything in detail as well as provided headphones to help with my anxiety. Ali showed me compassion and understanding while taking care of my teeth and made the experience one of the best dental experiences I've had. I will definitely be back!

I have been coming to this office for years. I've always felt right at home when I go there, the ladies there are always so upbeat and caring. Scheduling my appointments have always been a breeze with the help of Briana, she listens and takes into account my work schedule and helps me to schedule around that. I never dread going for my cleanings with my hygienist Ali, she is always very personable and answers all my questions. I know I'm in the best hands when it comes to doctor Dr. Clayton. I had an issue to arise a couple of weeks ago with my Invisalign; even though Dr. Clayton was out on maternity leave she still was still able to have Briana facilitate a time for me to come into the office and have a video call for Dr. Clayton to better assess the situation and come up with a solution. You don't get the kind of service you get here just anywhere, they go above and beyond and I cannot recommend them enough!!

Everyone in the office is amazing! Love my girl Erica the most though. She really makes you feel comfy,listens, and explains what she's doing. Always asks how life is and how the kiddos are! I will never go anywhere else!!

I came in a little upset. My hygienist, Erica listened to my problems and apologized(even though it wasn't her fault). She was very nice and very detailed when explaining the procedures. I left in a way better mood than what I had when I came in.

My second time seeing Dr. Clayton after moving here from another state. I had 4 fillings that were probably over fourty years old that finally needed to be replaced. She is amazing at administering local anesthetic. There was zero pain during the injections and throughout the procedure. Julie and Kriston were fabulous. They are clearly knowledgeable, and kept me entertained throughout the 2 hour process. I feel very lucky to have found Columbia Dental Group.

First time going here and I had a fantastic experience! Front desk was very nice & helpful! Erica B. did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. Both Erica & Dr. Clayton were extremely informative, caring, and personable. 1000% would recommend and I am happy to say I have found the perfect dentist for me!
