I didn't even want to give this place a one star. The dentist does not know what she is doing and ontop of that doesnt listen to her patients. I didn't have a very good experience and I will not refure or return to this place. What a joke!! And yes I walked out after sitting there for almost a half hour to not be listened to after trying to explain that she was the one that broke my tooth by making to big of a filling.

The office is open 3 days per week, normal for a Medicaid dental office, but the phones aren't answered even during business hours. My calls (and voicemails) about emergency-level pain were not answered for days -- again, days on which the office was open. When someone finally reached back to me -- mind you, after 3 days of calling out of work due to the pain -- I was met with "Oh... well we'll see you next week". There is a disturbing lack of urgency at this office. I have had an extremely painful tooth that needs to be extracted for 2 months, and I've decided to go directly to a dental surgeon. I will say that Dr. Khan is not condescending to her patients (like many DDS/MDs in the Auburn area). She will tell you everything she's about to do and she expects you to understand (like any semi-educated adult should). If you're considering Columbia only for a filling or routine exam, you might like it here. If you need anything more serious done, prepare to wait a *long* time to have the problem solved, and to have a VERY tough time getting in touch with the office.

I had always been extremly anxious when it came time to go to the dentist. So much so that I just wouldn't go.This past summer I had no choice, I couldn't ignore my teeth anymore. When I left Columbia Dental that day, I knew it was going to be a life long relationship! It has been a few visits now, and each one has been just as pleseant as the last. I can't thank Dr. Khan enough for being so gentle and attentive to myself as an individual. I have reaped the benefit of her knowledge and kindness, and truly believe she is doing what she was meant to do. She and her staff (Lindsay!!!) are all heart! Thank you ladies!!

I have always had a fear of the dentis. Dr. Kahn not only has freed me from my fears, she has also helped me get my smile back!. Dr. Khan, Lindsay, and the rest of her staff treat you with the utmost care and respect.

This office is NOT TAKING NEW PATIENTS!!!! I called two weeks ago (Jan 13) to make an appointment as a new patient to get a filling fixed. The appointment was made for Jan 31st, but I had to go fill out a consent form for my old dentist to send my records. So I arrive early for my appointment as a new patient to fill out paperwork. Upon arrival, the girl at the front desk was completely clueless and she informed me that the dentist didn't show up today. No phone call. No explanation. The dentist just didnt show up. No one from the office called to tell me tgat or rrschedule my appointment or anything. When I expressed concern over the unprofessional and just plain odd situation, I was them told the dentist wasn't taking new patients. She didn't care I wasted my time or took time off work. She didn't care I need a filling fixed. And come to find out, they didn't even get my records from my old dentist. They completely wasted my time, and didn't even apologize or try to reschedule or anything. Anyone can clean teeth, but apparently not everyone can run a halfway decent business.

I thought Columbia was helping me. Then I found out they charged me a lot of money and fractured me. Which was confirmed by multiple specialists. They would not own up to their error. Then sent me a bill for it. They left me in a bad place the entire year. It's a true shame.

For starters, dirty office. The office looks like it's in an old, run down apartment. I went here two years ago for a root canal and since have been in pain. Just found out that the root canal was not done properly and there's a fracture in the crown or somewhere in the tooth. I lost bone and have an abscess! Now I'll have to get it taken out and get a bone graft and an implant or bridge, costing me thousands out of pocket. Extremely unhappy.

I transferred me and my whole family there and we had a nice first visit. One of my fillings fell out and I went there for help, they referred me to some ghetto dentist in Syracuse. Dr Khan forgot to put my most painful tooth on the referral to be extracted so I had to go back for her to fix it. When I went back she was disgustingly RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and threatened to call the police on me!!!! She was not understanding that is was HER MISTAKE she DID NOT write down that the tooth needed to be extracted. Causing my drive to Syracuse to be pointless and a waste of time and money. She then told me she would ONLY write me a referral for my LEFT side not my RIGHT side ( which was the side she wrote in the first place ) both sides need extraction and instead of fixing her mistake she told me to 'mind my tone' and then told her receptionist to call the police on me. In front of my daughter and other patients. I could not believe I was being treated so horribly over THEIRRR mistake! The receptionist understood everything that happened and was ready to fix the mistake they made and ready to write me a new referral until the doctor started being completely rude and disrespectful! I wish I read the other reviews before I went there it seems not many have anything nice to say about that place at ALL in the recent months! My daughter and myself both left crying and in horror! I feel so sorry my child had to see and hear a supposed to be PROFESSIONAL talk to me the way she did and I DEF DO NOT RECOMMEND them to ANYONE!!

I did not like the fact that she did two fillings my first time there. I had xrays, a cleaning and fillings all done on my first visit. Seemed like she was trying to bill all she could in one visit.
