Dr Heather Colson Hardy grew up in the Valdosta area. She graduated with honors from Lowndes High School and attended Valdosta State University where she majored in Biology and History. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in Augusta.
Dr. Heather is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and is a Past President of theSouthwestern District Dental Association. She is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and is on staff with South Georgia Medical Center where she served many years as the Chief of Dental Services.
Sylvia is the first person you'll see when you arrive. She is key to making sure the office runs smoothly. Sylvia is in charge of all front office duties, from scheduling to billing to insurance, and she does it with a smile!
Michelle has been with our practice since 2006. She is a Valdosta High School graduate and later attended Valdosta Technical College. She graduated in 2005 as a Certified Dental Assistant and has been chairside with Dr. Heather ever since. Michelle has maintained her DANB certification since graduation and routinely exceeds the necessary continuing education for her licensure.
Cynthia has been a dental hygienist for over 20 years and has been with our Dr Heather since 2020. Even after all these years, she still enjoys dental hygiene and the relationships she builds with each of her patients.

Dr Colson is the only dentist we will ever use. She and her staff go above and beyond to provide awesome dental care and make us feel like family. If you are in need of a general dentist in Valdosta she is second to none!

Let me tell you about Dr. Heather and her staff. I have been going to Heather for at least 10 years. This is the most honest, caring , kind human being I have had the pleasure of knowing. Her office cares more about her patients then themselves. They go out of the way to make you feel comfortable. The other thing you need to be aware of is Dr. Colson bottom line is her patients, not her bank account.

It has been an awesome experience going to her practice for the past couple of years, every one's so nice and friendly and understanding of my pain sensitivity. Her practice has helped me through my dental anxiety and stabilize my dental health.

Our entire family loves Dr. Colson. We have been seeing her for a decade, and have been well taken care of during that time. My husband was anxious from previous dental experiences, and she put him right at ease. Our autistic son loves to go to the dentist, and he loves Dr. Heather. So thankful to have a wonderful dentist so close to home!!

My family and I have tried many different dentists in Valdosta. Dr Colson is the only dentist my kids do not complain about. My kids actually love to go to they dentist appointments now. My 11 year old have to say bye to the entire staff before she leave her appointments
