Dr. Stephen Kelly is a graduate of the University of Oregon Health and Sciences Center, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He then completed a graduate residency program at Harbor General Hospital UCLA, where he obtained a specialty in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Kelly is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has served on the State Board of Dental Examinersat the request of the governor of Colorado and has served in leadership positions in the Colorado Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In addition, he is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and the Colorado Dental Association (CDA). He has performed several thousand implant-related proceduresand places a high emphasis on leading-edge implant techniques in his practice. Dr. Kelly and his staff believe that we make a difference in peoples lives by offering them the best quality care and follow-up possible. We practice the principle that building a great surgery practice is the result of how you treat people.
Dr. Kelly is a native of the Western Slope. He has always been very involved in sports and played four years of college basketball. He was fortunate to have been drafted by the Detroit Pistons after completion of his college career. He enjoys the outdoor life afforded by living in Colorado and is an avid mountain biker. He and his wife, Connie, are parents of four sons.
We are pleased to announce the association of D. Cameron Reece, DMD, MD. Dr. Reece has recently finished his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Case Western Reserve University. While completing his residency, he also concurrently received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Case Western is associated with some of the top hospitals in the nation, including the University Hospital of Cleveland and the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Reeces interests include involvement in organized dentistry and he served on the administrative board of the Resident Association of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. His broad training includes extensive experience in TMJ surgery, orthognathic and sleep surgery, benign pathology, dental implants, anesthesia, and maxillofacial trauma. Dr. Reece grew up in Payson, Utah, as did his wife, Steffanie, and they have three children. The Reeces feel privileged to live in Western Colorado and enjoy the great lifestyle we have here in this wonderful area.

The entire team was extremely kind and comforting. I received straight forward answers during my consultation and my 6 tooth extractions went flawlessly! Recovery was a breeze, probably thanks to how well Dr. Reece did the surgery. Would not hesitate to go back here if I needed more oral surgery work done

I saw Dr. Reece for some dental surgery. He is a very nice man and knowable about the surgery I have coming up. Office staff and the assistants are also very nice and made me feel like I mattered.

Dr. Kelly did an implant on me today, to eventually replace my front tooth with a crown. The tooth had broken off 3 months ago at the gum line. It's now 12 hours later, so all the anesthetic is long worn off yet I have not even thought about this procedure all day. I don't expect to even have to take an ibuprofen for it. The almost imperceptible soreness (I have to focus on it to feel it) of my surrounding teeth is no doubt from the retractors that held my mouth open. No discomfort at the site of the implant, AT ALL. He and his team are amazing.

I had sudden face swelling from a tooth abscess and went to my regular dentist. Once they saw the problem they called Dr. Reece who agreed to fit me in that same afternoon. Dr. Reece stayed late after his last patient to fix my tooth. Without his help I would have gone home for 7 days with antibiotics and had to wait for availability for the procedure. The cost was much less than I thought it would be, especially for last minute oral surgery. Thank you for your kindness that day!
