I had a root canal today at Colorado West Endodontics and it was the most pleasant dental procedure Ive experienced. Everyone was very professional, gentle and nice. I will be back next time I need a dental procedure and will recommend to my friends and family.
Excellent. Kind, responsive, professional, good-humored team, who bent over backwards to work me into their schedule, which will let me leave for a long-planned-for trip. Well-designed, pleasant treatment rooms, and they communicated well and quickly with my Gunnison dentist. Couldnt ask for a better experience in taking care of my unexpected root canal. Greatly appreciated.
This is the best Clinic that my husband and I have ever been. My husband and I live 5 hours away and he was working near Silt and started having mouth pain (possible root canal). I called and they got my husband in the same day and treated him the best that they could. Ended
Wow what a great experience from the moment I walked through the door, the receptionist and assistant were so kind. I have been through some unexpected teeth issues in the last few months and have to say my root canal was the best of them all. Not that anyone ever wants to have a root
I dreaded having a root canal. A terrible procedure many years ago had me terrified to have a root canal performed.I was pleasantly surprised! I actually enjoyed my visit!! Dr. Barnhurst was super awesome. Explained everything, took his time, etc. The assistant was so nice.Nitrous, protective glasses and noise-cancelling headphones made this root canal easy
Dr. Beus is happy to be living and practicing in the Rocky Mountains. He graduated from Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. Upon completion of his doctoral training, he joined a private dental practice in Boston and was a pre-clinical instructor for Harvard University. Dr. Beus received his endodontic certificate at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. After graduating he practiced in Minnesota as an owner of a specialty practice before coming to Colorado to continue his career.
Dr. Eric Barnhurst grew up in Southern Colorado. He has been working at Colorado West Endodontics for the past ten years. He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. He then attended a general practice residency program at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Denver. Following that residency he completed an endodontic residency program at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Barnhurst worked as an associate in a specialty office in Philadelphia before returning to Colorado to continue his career.

They took care of my tooth like it was nothing. I was really worried but it was a nothing sandwich for them. All good! A year later and still good, so very pleased.

I work at a dental office and we often refer patients (to CWE) for endodontic treatment. Chelsea seems to generally be the one I speak with when coordinating appointments. She is always exceptionally friendly and professional, as well as efficient. It is always a pleasure. I have not personally had any treatment in their office, but every patient we have referred has reported a positive experience. Also, the quality of work is exceptional. The doctors are always good about sending us a report when treatment us completed and ensuring the patient receives the necessary follow-up care.

I had to go in for a root canal recently. I have had bad experiences before so needless to say I was very nervous. Chelsea was AMAZING! She was so kind and had such a great attitude. She made me feel welcome and that I was in good hands. She definitely made my visit a positive one. So thankful for her!

I went in for a root canal yesterday (my tooth exploded on an Oreo). First. I absolutely hate dentists. Can't handle it. Don't like it. I told the doctor this. And he was super understanding about it. They gave me some sweet noise cancelling Bose headphones with some real mellow jams (let me get that playlist) They numbed me up real well and I didn't feel anything through the whole "operation". I use quotes because it really didn't even feel like one. Anyway... I expected there to be some kind of pain after my face was done going numb. However, I was pleasantly surprised I actually felt totally fine and was able to eat my Apple Jacks with zero issues. Long story short.... I have zero fears of dentists now. This is the place to go.

I have been in twice to see Dr.Barnhurst for root canals. Both times he was very professional and personable, he explained the procedure and answered any questions or concerns I had to help put me at ease. His whole staff was very kind, his assistant was knowledgeable and attentive. The facility was very clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend this office, I personally wouldn't go anywhere else.

This is a team of professionals. Chelsea at the front desk is amazing, she's ALWAYS in the great mood, always extremely helpful and caring. He walked me through step by step before, during, and after the procedure. He made the process as easy and painless as possible. The consultation was quick, and effective, and the dental assistants were friendly, fantastic, and well trained with all of the equipment. The front desk was so helpful and polite, they even helped me make my follow up appointments, and reassured me at the consultation when I let her know I was scared for the procedure the following day. Everyone there from the front desk to the doctors are focused on the patient, and they worked seamlessly together throughout my visit. I would absolutely recommend them and come back without thinking twice. They are amazing! Thank you!

Colorado West Endodontics is the worst EVER Endodontist. If they don't have front girls that can run a simple schedule , God only knows what kind of surgeons they have. I would not trust these guys to floss my teeth correctly. I scheduled an appointment because I was in extreme pain and needed a root canal. They called me less than 24 hours before the appointment and cancelled. The doctor decided not to go in at 8 o'clock that day. I rearranged work to get in the next day. They called, left a message, and cancelled again. The options were to wait six days later, while I carried on this extreme pain or drive 2 1/2 hours to the Grand Junction, Colorado office to get it done. Had no choice but to take that option. That's fine, things happen. I rearranged my job for it. AGAIN! Grand Junction office called me the afternoon before and cancelled because a receptionist had put something in my appointment slot. Sickened by the incompetence of this company. I recommend you seek other avenues as I searched. Blessing in disguise I have no doubt.
