Dr. Derek Kirkham is a board certified pediatric dentist. A native of Bountiful, Utah, Dr. Kirkham earned his bachelors degree at Brigham Young University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed a one-year general dentistry residency at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, then served two years as a general dentist at Ellsworth Air Force Base near Rapid City, South Dakota. After separating from the Air Force, Dr. Kirkham completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the Childrens Hospital in Denver. He is an avid cyclist and competes in triathlons. Dr. Kirkham and his wife, Deanna, enjoy Colorados outdoor activities with their four children.

Dr. Jeffrey Kahl is a board certified pediatric dentist. A native of Windsor, Colorado, Dr. Kahl earned his bachelors degree at Colorado State University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at CU. He practiced at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and at the Naval Air Weapons Station in China Lake, California, but remained interested in pediatric dentistry ever since he and other students got the chance to work at dental clinics in Romania. After separating from the Navy, he completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the Childrens Hospital in Denver, where he still works as a part-time faculty member. Dr. Kahl enjoys hiking and camping in the Colorado mountains with his daughter, Kaylee, and his son, Preston.

He earned his bachelors degree at the University of Denver and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Colorado. After dental school, he completed a one-year general dentistry residency at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, and served as a general dentist in the Army. Upon separation from the Army, Dr. Martin returned to Colorado to practice general dentistry in Denver and Aurora for several years. Realizing the area of dentistry he enjoyed most was working with children, he completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Martin, his wife, Shauna, and their three children enjoy hiking, fishing, and spending time in the mountains of Colorado.

Dr. Dan Hoang is a board certified pediatric dentist. A native of Edison, New Jersey, he always knew he wanted to become a pediatric dentist. He earned his bachelors degree at Pennsylvania State University and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Temple University as part of an accelerated health program. During dental school, his experiences with the organizations Give Kids a Smile, Mission of Mercy, Special Olympics, and as the president of the pediatric group only confirmed his passion for helping kids and those with special needs. He went on to complete a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the Childrens Hospital Colorado, where he was chief resident and extensively trained to treat patients with complex medical needs. Like many in Colorado, Dr. Dan and his wife, Hallie, enjoy everything outdoors from skiing, snowboarding, fishing, camping and hiking.

Dr. Johnson grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. He earned his bachelors degree in Biology/Public Health from Utah Valley University and a masters degree in Bioethics from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at University Of Missouri Kansas City School Of Dentistry where he learned that his favorite aspect of dentistry is working with kids and helping them be healthy. He then completed a two year residency to receive specialized training in pediatrics at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where he was also honored to be chief resident. Dr. Johnsons other interests include bicycling, hunting, basketball, snowboarding, music, the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, serving in his church and exploring the beautiful mountains of Colorado with his wife and five children.
