Dr. McBride knows how debilitating tooth pain can be, especially when it affects your daily activities and keeps you from enjoying your life. He has dedicated his entire career to offering people a comfortable solution and treatment when faced with such uncomfortable conditions. His top concern is helping his patients eliminate tooth pain, both now and in the future.
Dr. McBride completed his undergraduate education at Southern Utah University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to complete dental school at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS). Upon completion of dental school, he relocated to Portland Oregon where he attended Oregon Health Science University and completed his Certificate of Endodontics.
After completing his training at Ohio State, Dr. McBride practiced as a general dentist in Broomfield, Colorado for five years. The experience and knowledge he gained during his time as a dentist sets him apart from other endodontists.
Early on in his dental career, Dr. McBride realized that the greatest concern for most patients is to avoid pain and inconvenience when planning and receiving dental care. The peak of his concern was often related to root canal treatment, inspiring him to focus his entire career on this field.
Today, Dr. McBride offers root canal treatments of the highest quality at Colorado Root Canal Specialist in Thornton, Colorado. Offering sound root canal treatment in a comfortable and caring environment is his top priority.
Dr. McBride has been happily married for over 11 years and he and his wife have 4 wonderful children. He enjoys time with his family, hiking, skiing, and going to the park. He is also an active member at his church and participates in triathalons.
In 2016, I attended endodontic residency at the Oregon Health and Sciences University where Dr. McBride and I met and became fast friends. He and I kept in touch, and when the opportunity to join his practice arose, my wife, three kids, and I made the decision to move to beautiful Colorado.
A little background about me, I completed dental school at the University of IL at Chicago in 2006 and practiced general dentistry in the Chicagoland area for 10 years. For six of those years, I owned a practice in Hinsdale, IL. I was also a part-time clinical faculty member at the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove for five years. I completed my endodontic residency and MS degree from OHSU in 2018 and returned to the Chicagoland area where I practiced endodontics for three years.
I am excited about this new chapter, and I look forward to working with you. It is my goal to provide the same level of detail and care for your patients as you have come to expect from Colorado Root Canal Specialist.

Dr. McBride did an amazing job on a root canal I had to get re done. From answering his phone after hours to making me feel so comfortable and relaxed during the actually procedure. Highly recommended. Thank you Dr.McBride.

Dr. McBride was very nice, personable and very patient with me. The staff were all very nice as well. The procedure took about 1 hour as the doctor informed me. The experience was very good.

I've had 2 root canals at Colorado Root Canal in the past 16 months. The first was a re-treatment from a root canal that was done 10+ years prior in another state. I can't recommend this place enough. I mean, no one wants to get a root canal. But, I've had both doctors now and they were both excellent. There has been little-to-no post-procedure pain both times. Even the procedure itself was fine.

The entire staff was friendly, helpful and made me feel comfortable during two root canal re-treatment sessions. The actual treatment was pain free during and after the procedures which was an extraordinary result when compared with my previous root canal experiences. Dr. Mcbride and the entire team did a great job. From the 80's music in the background to the actual dental procedure, I can honestly say that they provided the Best root canal experience ever!

In these days, it seems to be impossible to find a business that doesn't "feel" short handed and exhausted! Well, Colorado Root Canal Specialists is NOT one of those businesses! Everyone I encountered from the phone call to final payment (including the Dr himself) was kind, & took the personal care to a whole new level. I could "feel" that they loved their jobs- and they loved working together. Highly recommend this business!!!

I had a great experience with the staff and Dr. McBride. I've had some awful and painful dental experiences and was terrified of getting a root canal. Dr. McBride was so kind and empathetic, he spent as much time as I needed to understand and work up the courage for the procedure. He was so right! It wasn't painful, it was quick and best part... My original pain and sensitivity was gone the next morning! (If you want a good experience, ask them to play the 90s playlist )

Awesome!!!! Well as awesome as a root canal can be. Had no idea how much I favored my sore tooth. Ibuprofen for only 20 hours and no pain. Dr McBride and his entire team are awesome.

My experience here was wonderful.. at first. I had a great experience no pain and everyone was accommodating and friendly. However, I had an issue with my dental credit that had to get sorted out. The receptionists are extremely unprofessional, to the point where they were calling the dental place next store looking for me and asking about my payment history there. They caught me as I was driving and demanded my information to run my card. I asked them to call me back in 10 min as I could not get my license out while driving. The other dental place was as stunned as I was by their practices. That was completely ridiculous and probably a hippa violation. Its too bad, they should really evaluate the business practices here.

I was not looking forward to having a root canal, but not only was the Dr. and staff amazing I experienced no pain. The staff cares enough to follow up to check on you after an experience. I highly recommend that if you need a root canal that you consider Colorado Root Canal Specialist.

State of the art equipment! Combine that with really friendly staff, very talented Doctor, root canals here are a no brainer!!!! Very caring, considerate folks. All I felt was the initial sedation needles. As enjoyable as a root canal could possibly be!!

I was terrified to get my first root canal and the staff here made everything so digestible. They walked me through the process and asked if I was okay often. It was a pretty quick process and not nearly as bad as I expected and I think that has to do primarily with the specialists there. Would definitely recommend!

I was very pleased with Dr McBride and the staff. Very professional, friendly, and courteous. However, I didn't understand the pricing. My personal dentist had done 2/3 of the total root canal yet it seems I was paying the full price as if my dentist had done nothing. Confusing

Best dental experience that I can remember. Dr. Surjan was simply amazing. I have heard root canals are horrible and painful. With that in mind as my first root canal, I was very nervous. My appointment couldn't have went better, there was actually very little pain, and none afterwards. Dr. Surjan's staff and assistants were super friendly and professional. I feel so much better post surgery than I have felt in weeks. Thanks so much to the team and I "highly recommend" Colorado Root Canal Specialist on a scale of 10/10.
