Dr. Gregg Lurcott graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1994. In 1998, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan, consistently ranked as one of the top dental schools in the nation. While in dental school, Dr. Lurcott received the Horace Wells Award in Anesthesia. Horace Wells is credited as the father of surgical anesthesia.

Following dental school, Dr. Lurcott completed a one-year internship at the Medical College of Ohio. He then went on to perform a four-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery through St. John Health Care System and Childrens Hospital of Michigan. Thereafter, Dr. Lurcott entered private practice in the metropolitan Detroit area. During his years in practice, Dr. Lurcott was a member of Head and Neck Tumor Boards, treated children in two Cleft Lip and Palate Clinics and lectured regularly on dental implants. Dr. Lurcott also acted as an attending instructor through the St. John residency program, teaching the principles and art of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery to residents in training. After six years of private practice in Michigan and having acquired extensive experience in the fields of sedation, general anesthesia, dentoalveolar and dental implant surgery, tumor management, jaw surgery, reconstructive facial surgery and trauma surgery, Dr. Lurcott decided to move to Colorado with his wife and three children to begin his own private practice in Denver.

Here in Denver, Dr. Lurcott continues to treat patients with congenital and traumatic craniofacial deformities at several local hospitals. As a member of the Facial Trauma Team at Swedish Hospital and the Medical Center of Aurora, Dr. Lurcott corrects the most complex craniofacial injuries and fractures.

To keep at the forefront of his specialty, Dr. Lurcott regularly attends national dental implant and facial reconstructive continuing education courses in order to provide the latest advances and innovations in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery to his patients. Dr. Lurcott also maintains Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.

They'll bill you 380 dollars for sitting in a leather chair and watching a 10 minute video. You'll always pay $75 out of pocket for x-rays you'll never receive a copy of. According to reyna in the billing department, just walking in the door is considered a "procedure", sitting in a chair is considered a "procedure". Rude and unprofessional. They honestly don't care about your well being and just care about that . If I were you, I'd find somewhere else to get work done.

The entire staff was very personable, which is important to me since trips to the dentist tend to be stressful. I highly recommend Dr. Hale. He is also a very good communicator.

All they care about is money. They'll bill you for breathing the air in the building.

Doctor was great at first meeting.. However, I have very little information yet as this was just a first meeting. Why have I gotten requests for feedback every day? THIS s tiresome.

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed here and had a great experience overall. The consult was very informal. After my surgery the surgeon texted me asking how things were going and answered any questions I had. It made me feel a lot better about the whole thing.

My 9 year old had an extra lateral incisor removed. During consult I was asked what kind of anesthesia they should use. How would I know? Half way through the extraction the doctor said, "this is why we usually put kids all the way under." As you might imagine, she now has a healthy (read: hysterical) fear. She wants to be a dentist, despite how much this incident has challenged that notion. I am trying to use it as a lesson and encouragement. "How would you treat your patients? What would you do to make sure no one feels that uncomfortable when you are their dentist?" She is fine, the tooth is out. It wasn't fun when we had to have 2 baby canines pulled last week. She is still excited to have her braces sooner than later.
