Dr. Carissa Molina grew up in Madison, WI. She graduated magna cum laude from Marquette University with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Spanish for the Health Professions. While attending Marquette University School of Dentistry she was awarded the National Health Service Corps Scholarship and inducted into the the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. After graduating magna cum laude from Marquette with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013, Dr. Carissa fulfilled her National Health Service Corps obligation at a community health center in Milwaukee, WI. As a general dentist she treated patients of all ages but especially enjoyed working with children and desired to pursue specialty training. She graduated from the pediatric dental residency program at Children's Hospital Colorado in 2019. Dr. Carissa is a member of the Metro Denver Dental Society, Colorado Dental Association, American Dental Association, Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a board eligible candidate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Carissa enjoys spending her free time hiking, reading, cooking, and traveling.

Born and raised on a cattle ranch in rural Montana, Dr. Stormi Winter received her bachelors degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Montana State University followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Although she fell in love with Colorado, she could not pass up the opportunity to complete her two-year post-doctoral residency at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Childrens Hospital in Columbus, Ohio (Go Bucks!), where she obtained both her Master of Science and Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. During her two years of training in Ohio at a level-one trauma center and serving as Chief Resident, she gained extensive experience in managing emergency trauma, restorative dentistry, behavior guidance, orthodontics, preventative dentistry, atraumatic restorative techniques, and treatment of patients with special healthcare needs, as well as providing care utilizing nitrous oxide, moderate sedation, and general anesthesia.

In her free time Dr. Winter enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, scuba diving, trying new cuisine, camping, and boating. And yes, her name is real! She enjoys all of her hobbies alongside her loving husband, Nick Winter, a Denver native.

Dr. Heckman grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended Auburn University from 2005-2009 where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences. He then returned to Birmingham to complete dental school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2010-2014. Following dental school, he and his wife relocated to Washington, D.C. where he practiced as a general dentist for two years while his wife completed her graduate school program. Once his wife completed her training, they moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where Dr. Heckman completed his two years of pediatric dental residency at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh from 2016-2018.

Dr. Heckman's education provided comprehensive training in pediatric dentistry with a focus on patents with special health care needs, hospital dentistry, sedation/general anesthesia dentistry, and solutions to issues of access to care. He is currently a board eligible pediatric dentist and holds an active Colorado dental license.

Dr. Kretsch was born and raised in Iowa. She attended the University of Iowa where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a certificate in dental hygiene. She practiced dental hygiene for 6 years. Dr. Kretsch enjoyed the dental field and elected to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 1996. During her time in dental school, she found a passion for working with children. Upon graduation, she continued onto a pediatric dental residency at the Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin where she earned a certificate in pediatric dentistry.

She joined her brother in his pediatric dental practice in 1998. She practiced pediatric dentistry for 18 years, including hospital dentistry. She was a managing partner in the pediatric dental practice she owned with her brother. Dr. Kretsch found she has an interest in the business operations of a dental practice and decided to pursue a Masters of Business Administration. She graduated from Regis University School of Professional Studies in 2015. Dr. Kretsch is a board-certified pediatric dentist and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, American Board of Pediatric Dentists as well as a member of the American Dental Association. She is active in her local dental society chapter. Dr. Kretsch is married and is the mother of 2 sons. She expresses her excitement to begin this new adventure as a partner in Colorado Dentistry for Children in Brush Colorado.

If you are able to get an appointment it will be three to four months out. Then if for any reason you need to re-schedule (your kid gets sick, you can't make it, etc..) you'll be scheduled for another 3 to 4 months out. So if you are lucky your kid will be able to get half their recommended dental care at this place. This place is an example of what happens when a provider is greedy and keeps taking on new patients when they can't even serve their current patients. It is worth the drive into a major city to get better service for your kids.

We went here for years. The last time we went we had one nurse that was kinda snappy with my husband about my sons teeth needing to be glossed better (he was 7). We decided to ride it out went back for the next 6 month check up after THEY CALLED AND MOVED THE APPOINTMENT LESS THAN 24hrs PRIOR showed up a little late after calling and driving and hour... they refused to see one of the 3. Not only that the one specific nurse is constantly RUDE she expected 6 of us to sit in 3 chairs "to be as together as possible" then got snippy that I went back with my youngest while the other kids and my husband sat waiting cuz "I can't have you all separated" I understand policies but they could have been a lot nicer about needed to reschedule one child. Especially considering I had my appointments and they called to change them. Sad that years were spent building a relationship there for my kids and now we won't ever step foot in the building again due to one rude nurse. Save yourself the trouble and make the drive a little farther for a different pediatric dentist!

Love this place. The only pediatric clinic in the area..I take all my kiddos 1 to 15 years old and they take the time to calm my younger children without restraints. My older ones have had no complaints about the care they received. They all have a great experience and I don't struggle to take them to see the dentist!! Please visit them. No regrets.
