My name is Freddie and Ive enjoyed being a dental assistant for over fourteen years. For me, the best part of dental work is the artistry that goes into giving someone a smile they can truly be proud of. In my free time I enjoy doing makeup and you can see me express my artistry on YouTube.
I am an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and I have been working in the dental field for over twenty-eight years. I received my training in the U.S. Army at the Academy of Health Science at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas and my Associate's Degree in Applied Science at Georgia Military College. In my daily role as a Dental Assistant, I particularly enjoy working to improve the lives of my patients. During my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, watching football, and spending time with my family.
After proudly serving our country in the US Army for twelve years, I attended Tallahassee Community College where I received my Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2011. Since then, I have been working as one of the leading Registered Dental Hygienists at Colonial Drive Family Dentistry. I genuinely love my job and I take particular interest in my patients' comfort during their visit as well as their overall oral health. In my free time, I also enjoy hiking and cycling.
I completed Dental Hygiene school in 2013 and became a part of Colonial Drive Family Dentistry as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2014. I am dedicated to continuing my education and have gained my certification in the administration of local anesthesia. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and our two dogs, as well as reading and decorating my new home.
I am a Practice Manager of Operations with over six years of dental experience. I love supporting the daily operation of our practice and my greatest passion is partnering with each and every team member so they can achieve their greatest potential and provide a truly exceptional patient experience. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time on the water with my husband and children.

The entire staff, from the office managers, to the hygienists, to assistants and especially Dr. Dorsey make you feel like the only patient in the office. Each one takes any time necessary to explain your procedures, the pricing and your insurance coverage, and any potential future needs. I can be very nervous going to the dentist but here it is different. They are truly an amazing crew and I highly recommend them.

The dentist spend 2 mins with me and take time out to explain to me what's all my options he can take to fix my teeth other than pull all my upper teeth out and put implants and charge $25,000 and no senior discount. I was told I was going to have cleaning done and that didn't happen. The rest of the staff was nice and friendly. What disappointed me, the dentist didn't take the appropriate time to consultant me with other options. So that made think they are all about the money

Jeffrey is one of the BEST dental specialists at Colonial Drive Family Dentistry. He is attentive and thorough. I appreciate Dr. Dorsey's commitment to his patients and the community. He holds annual golfing events to raise money to give back to the community. EVERYONE in his office is so amazingly pleasant EVERYDAY. They go out their way to speak to you and make it their business to know your name. They want to make you feel like FAMILY, literally. I waited a year for my insurance to change just so I could become a patient. It was well worth the wait.

What could I say about Dr Dorsey and his staff that hasn't been said already. I was in and out in record time. Jayy and Tatianna (I hope I spelled the names right) were awesome and informative. Dr Dorsey wasn't bad either (LoL) Thank you for yet another pleasant visit until next time.

All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I've never been too much of a fan of the dentist, truthfully they give me anxiety. But a huge thumbs up to Juan who helped me feel at ease and very comfortable through the whole process.

This is the experience we all should long for when going to the dentist. Finding a cure for current issues with a heavy emphasis on prevention, immediately built a connection. The staff is professional and helpful. Dr. Dorsey's pragmatic communication regarding all my options enabled me to be confident that I made the best decision for me. Peggy, my hygienist, created an atmosphere of comfort, support and encouragement. Her efforts solidified my choice of CDFD for all my dental care. I highly recommend this first class organization.

Jamel is my dental hygienist. She takes very good care of me. My mouth was hurting me so bad because I had not had a cleaning in awhile due to surgery. Jamel got me in on my day off, and cleaned my teeth. My mouth feels 100% better. Thanks Jamel for all you do, you are highly appreciated.
