Dr. Colliver graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a degree in Biology and is a 1987 graduate of the University of Maryland School Of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. A Frederick native, Dr. Colliver grew up in Braddock Heights and currently lives in Frederick. He is member of the American Dental Association and the Maryland State Dental Association.
Dr. Fitzgerald completed her dental education at the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry. Prior to dental school, Dr. Fitzgerald earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Physiology and Neurobiology at the University of Maryland, College Park.
She was raised in a military family, moving every few years, and is happy to have settled into Frederick.Dr. Fitzgerald joined the practice in October 2019. She enjoys the relationships with colleagues and patients the field of dentistry allows her to cultivate. She has a genuine interest in helping others, eagerness to expand her education and brings a positive outlook to every visit. She is passionate about continuing her education and staying up to date on all of the latest techniques and technologies dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Fitzgerald is heavily involved in the Maryland State Dental Association, serving as the Chair of the New Dentist and Vice Chair of Legislative Affairs Committees, in addition to numerous other committees and positions. She is a member of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry Board of Directors, where she serves as the Chair of the Early Career Committee. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, Frederick County Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Fitzgerald loves trying out new restaurants with her husband Richard and going for walks and hikes with their dog Sage. She supports local professional teams such as the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens, and Maryland Terps; it is very possible you will spot her at a game!

The people at Colliver Dental are great. Never have to wait more than a few minutes after I arrive to have the work done. I especially like the in-house dental care program that pays for x-rays, two cleanings and checkups annually as well as fluoride treatments and discounted procedures. I signed up because I needed a long-overdue cap on one of my teeth and the savings on that one procedure were more than the plan cost. If paying for the plan all at once poses a problem, after you make your downpayment, they bill you for the balance on a monthly basis to make it easier on your wallet. The savings on procedures are commensurate with the savings from the corporate dental plans out there, but the yearly premium is lower.

I have always been very impressed with the staff at Colliver Dental Group. The dental hygienist was very professional and made me feel comfortable. The doctor stopped by to check my teeth and she was extremely professional. I will continue to use Colliver Dental and will recommend them to anyone in need of an excellent dental office.

Everyone was very friendly and professional plus it was obvious that appropriate covid preventative practices were utilized. I had very little pain from the procedure and only took one of the pain pills to be on the safe side.

I'm a dentist hopper due to numerous bad experiences and I love this office! No lecturing, no upselling procedures that don't need to be done. They even reaffirmed my son's decision not to have orthodontia. Very grateful to have found them!

Colliver Dental Group has amazing dentists and staff. They are always very pleasant and provide excellent care. They were able to fit me in at the last minute for an emergency filling on the day before a holiday for which I was very grateful. They definitely deserve 5 stars!

I had to get a root canal today - the first one I've ever had. Typical fillings don't usually bother me, but I've had a few bad experiences at previous dentists that put me on edge for this more serious procedure. Doctor Colliver was fantastic; he's extremely competent, talented, and caring. The level of patience he displayed with me was commendable, and he spent time to make sure I was comfortable during the entire procedure. I felt no pain during the root canal, and that is indicative of Doctor Colliver's capability and level of proficiency. My husband and I moved to Frederick a few years ago and have been going to Doctor Colliver ever since. The greatest compliment we can give him is that we trust him entirely. His client base and reviews speak for themselves. Doctor Colliver is an honest man and a competent, knowledgeable dentist. My husband and I think very highly of him and are thankful we found a dentist we can trust.

I can't even begin to tell you how pleased I am with this office. I was going to a dentist for years where I had to fight for appointments all the time as they never had availability making it impossible to keep up with my dental needs, and even when I did have work done, it always hurt and it made me feel bad for things beyond my control (like getting mouth cancer) This year I decided to change dentist and I found Colliver Group worked with my insurance. I called on one of my days off to make an appointment for a filling I thought had broken they were able to get me in that same afternoon due to a cancellation which worked for me. I went in and the doctor and staff were superb. Dr. Fitzgerald made sure I was comfortable and listen to my concerns and did the filling for me and I did not feel a thing! When checking out I was trying to make a cleaning appointment and they had one for the next day! I showed up and Monica the hygienist was so kind and professional - and again listen to my concerns specially surrounding my mouth surgery. She explained everything and then her and Dr. Fitzgerald recommended I had my wisdom teeth removed - which they were also able to take care of that same day as well! And again Dr. Fitzgerald made sure I did not feel a thing and was able to get the extractions done without any issues. So basically they were able to take care of my needs in two days when I had been trying with my previous doctor for six months to just schedule an appointment. Thank you so much to everyone in the staff from the receptionist to the billing person. They are all amazing!

I always have a good experience here. I am seen on time, my cleaning always goes well. I feel like the staff cares. Any time I have ever had an issue, I've been given good advice and there is no rush to drill something. I am able to get an appointment quickly if I have tooth pain or any issue. My only concern is sometimes it's hard to get in for a cleaning. I got lucky this time and there was a cancellation since I missed my regularly scheduled appointment in May due to Covid. I am very fond of my hygienist, Colleen. She is excellent to my teeth, cares about me as a patient, and so fun to listen to (I try to talk). This is my main reason for coming to this office. I have to admit that!! Their billing is confusing. We don't always get bills and don't understand the balance we are carrying. I've called and don't get calls back. But they are at least friendly and just seem very busy. Also want to say that I feel the office is taking good precautions against covid. My hygienist was masked and she had a face shield. She used suction in my mouth during the cleaning which prevented any aerosolized droplets from coming out of my mouth during the cleaning. I used hand sanitizer when I came in and they took my temperature as well. I think this office is taking excellent precautions.
