Our brand-new office space, located at 8124 Highway 100 (just across the street from Kroger), features a private treatment room and top-of-the-line technologies including 3D-printing of models (to streamline retainer fabrication), digital scanners (no uncomfortable mouth impressions), and the latest in clear aligner offerings.
Sam Collins, D.M.D. hails from the small town of Norris, Tennessee. He developed his work ethic from time spent on his fathers Christmas tree farm, and his patience from growing up with three sisters. A late bloomer to orthodontic care himself, he got his braces off just in time to head to Belmont University. During his time there, Dr. Collins earned his bachelors degree in exercise science and also became a fan of all things Music City. (Yes, even Vanderbilt football.) After college, he attended dental school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While earning his DMD, he developed a passion for orthodontics, specifically the patient connections and gratifications that come with the field. (There arent many jobs that permit you to so directly change someones life for the better.) Dr. Collins completed his orthodontics residency at Medical University of South Carolina in 2018. During his free time, he enjoys spending afternoons on the lake, golfing, fishing, and the occasional game of pick-up basketball.

I am SO impressed with Dr. Collins and this office! He goes above and beyond for his patients. The customer service they give is exceptional. The office is also clean & beautiful.

We visited a few orthodontists and Dr. Collins was the clear choice! He is very friendly, knowledgable, and we never (I mean never) wait for appointments. His office is very new and extremely clean and well run. We couldn't be happier with our choice and I plan to send all three of my kids to him for braces! My daughters teeth look better every day! Thank you Dr. Collins!

Dr. Collins is awesome! From the minute we spoke on the phone, to the moment I met him in person he is very kind and knowledgeable. He was kind enough to fix my permanent retainer since the glue came off of one tooth. Most orthodontists would've charged but he was kind enough to not charge me. The inside is clean, beautiful and welcoming as well! Definitely recommend! 10/10!

I had an amazing experience at Collins Orthodontics! My teeth had shifted after having braces years ago and not wearing my retainer, and after treatment with Dr. Collins, I could not be more happy with how perfect and straight my teeth are now. He truly listened to all of my concerns and gave me several options of treatment to choose from. Being in my twenties, I did not want to have metal braces showing when I smiled, so he explained that I could have clear aligners on the top and metal braces on the bottom (my bottom teeth don't show when I smile), which is exactly what I wanted. Another main concern I had was how long I would be in treatment. While delivering exceptional treatment, I was out of braces and had perfect, straight teeth in just three short months. I was extremely impressed with all that Collins Orthodontics offered, including a free consultation, a goodie bag full of braces care and oral hygiene, giveaways/sales/discounts, as well as including fixing broken brackets at any time/however many times within your treatment plan. He made my treatment affordable and was always available to schedule my appointments around my hectic work schedule. Another thing I enjoyed about my experience with Dr. Collins is how friendly and personable he is. I just moved here from New York and he was kind enough to facetime my parents and walk them through the process as well as explain what my treatment plan would look like. Not only is Collins Orthodontics office at a great location on Highway 100, but the inside of his office is beautiful. It is organized, clean, and has the latest orthodontic technology. I could not recommend Collins Orthodontics enough! If you need any treatment for your teeth, I highly suggest Dr. Collins!

Dr. Collins made me a mouthguard on very short notice. He had nextday appointments. The office is very new and modern.. When I went, he used new technology so I didn't have to do the old-fashioned gels. He was also available to help me modify the mouthguard once it came in. I highly recommend him!
