Dr. Collins is a native Texan and grew up on a ranch in central Texas. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in psychology. He then attended the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston where he received his D.D.S. degree, graduating number two in his class in 2005. He was elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society. He completed a two year Orthodontics residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas in 2010 while serving in the U.S. Army. Dr. Collins is a Board Certified Orthodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, which is a distinction only held by an elite tier of orthodontists.
During dental school, Dr. Collins served for four years in the U.S. Army Reserves. After dental school, Dr. Collins served for eight years on active duty in the U.S. Army as a dentist and orthodontist. His duty assignments included Ft. Carson, Colorado; Ft. Sam Houston, Texas; and Ft. Gordon, Georgia. During his time in the Army, he received numerous awards, including two Army commendation medals. After his Army service, he practiced as an orthodontist in Dallas for three years.
Dr. Collins was active in Boy Scouts and received many awards, including the God and Country Award and attained the rank of Eagle Scout by the 9th grade. He enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, watching college sports and attending games, spending time with his wife and two sons, going to the movies, finding great restaurants, and he loves all kinds of cars. He treats his patients like family and wants them to have a truly great and fun experience while having braces.

My kids have been going to Dr. Collins since March, the transformation so far is amazing. Dr. Collins and Brittnee are very attentive to all their patients needs and concerns. They are both willing to answer any questions you have without hesitation. I never wanted me kids to "dread" the braces or feel uncomfortable going through the process and with Dr. Collins and Britnee they have made it very enjoyable for my children. I highly recommend you call if you are going to start your orthodontic treatment.

I highly recommend Collins Orthodontics. Very professional and friendly. Great Communication! Sets goals, provides a potential timeline to expect, and follows through while allowing flexibility. Prior to bringing my daughter to Collin's, I used a larger corporate company for my own teeth in order to cut costs. If I had the chance to do it over again, I would come to Collin's every time! Worth every penny.

Dr.Collins and Britnee are amazing !! I went to Dr.Collins for adult braces due to some extreme crowding and a dead incisor. 13 months later I have perfectly straight teeth and no more ugly dead tooth. If you're looking for an honest and excellent orthodontist, don't look any further. Collins Orthodontics is the Best!!!

I moved to Texas a while ago and I had not seen my own orthodontist in a decade. My upper permanent retainer broke (after all, I have had it 20 years) and needed to get it fixed asap before a large gap formed between my two upper front teeth. I have driven past Collins Ortho for several years and decided to stop in for an appointment. The office is amazing! Dr. Collins was fun to chat with and offered a solution that had my teeth fixed within an hour-and-a-half. I really enjoyed my time there and I will be happy to bring my children to Collins Ortho when they undoubtedly need braces. If you are looking for an orthodontist in Georgetown, look no further. This place is awesome!

This is my second review for Collins Orthodontics office. After he finished my daughters orthodontics treatment I decided to pull the trigger and start my own treatment. I had so much over crowding with my teeth, it was pretty bad. With other Orthodontic offices it would've taken 2 years or more to complete my treatment. It only took 1 year and almost 6 months to complete my treatment. Dr. Collins is amazing and his work speaks for itself. Thank you Dr. Collins and Brittney for giving me a smile I thought I would never have. If I could give your office more than 5 stars I would. I highly recommend Collins Orthodontics.

What an amazing team at Collins Orthodontics! Our oldest daughter went to a competitor who we were disappointed with so we asked around and everyone talked about Collins Orthodontics. Wow, what a difference! 23 months later my younger daughter has a beautiful new smile and next month my son will as well. Very thorough, accommodating and just great people. If you are still trying to decide, just stop, pick up the phone, and make an appointment. I guarantee you will be happy you did.

Dr Collins and his staff are FANTASTIC!! Our son needed braces, they created a treatment plan and walked him through every step of the way making sure he understood and was comfortable. I was very pleased with my treatment! Dr. Collins is extremely personable and thorough with his work. He is very intentional with all of his patient's treatments and never makes you feel like you're just a number. I had the best experience as an adult with braces! I had braces as a teenager, but my lower teeth became crooked over time. Dr Collins recommended the perfect solution and I am more than pleased with the results. I highly recommend Dr Collins for youth and adults.
