Dr. Lynn Collins (Dr. Lynn) graduated from University of Maryland Dental School. She worked as a general dentist for seven years with her father in Newark. Her passion for children encouraged her to specialize in pediatric dentistry at Temple University, Episcopal Campus.
She is currently expanding her knowledge by taking extensive courses in airway and sleep disordered breathing. This includes laser treatment (frenectomy) of tethered oral tissues (tongue-tie and lip-tie). She has completed training in orofacial functional myology and is a TBI Ambassador with The Breathe Institute.
Dr. Lynn is on staff at Nemours Childrens Hospital. She enjoys the challenging special needs patient and enjoys her operating-room privileges so she can restorepatients teeth under general anesthesia.
Dr. Lynn is also is on the medical-dental staff at ChristianaCare Health System. She is the Section Chief of Pediatric Dentistry and teaches the general practice dental residents in Wilmington Hospitals dental clinic. Additionally she provides dental services under general anesthesia in the operating room at Wilmington Hospital.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Lynns dental services include doing braces on older children/adolescents and pediatric dentistry using happy gas (nitrous oxide). She truly enjoys the world of teeth and children. Dr. Lynn is proud to be a part of a large caring family that includes dentists and dental professionals.
Dr. Patricia Smith (Dr. Patty) received her bachelors degree from Saint Peters University, Jersey City, New Jersey. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
After finishing a general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital, Dr. Patty completed a fellowship at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia. She went on to complete her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Temple University Hospital, Episcopal Campus.
Dr. Patty is an associate community staff member of the Nemours Childrens Hospital. She is an active member of the medical and dental staff at the ChristianaCare Health System. She teaches the general practice dental residents andprovides dental services under general anesthesia in the operating room at Wilmington Hospital.

Born and raised in Delaware, Dr. Daria Ryan graduated from Saint Marks High School, the University of Delaware, and the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University Dental School. She also attended a hospital-based general practice residency program in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Ryan is a former faculty member and attending dentist at Delaware Technical and Community College, Department of Dental Hygiene. She has worked for more than 20 years in New Castle County in private practice.

Absolutely Hands Down BEST DENTIST PLACE EVER FOR CHILDREN!!!! I am 100% satisfied with the staff, the environment, the whole atmosphere is so awesome!!! Everyone is professional, caring, comforting, and it's such a positive experience!!! I take all 3 of my children there and we don't get treated like patients we get treated like "Family"!!! This Place is HIGHLY RECOMMEND by "The Houghton Family" Dr. Patricia is my Fav and Mrs. Janet was so kind & helpful with my 2.5 year old daughter Esabella today. The beautiful Receptionist still greeted me with open arms (even though I was 5 min late) lol And I appreciate her kindness and loving personality!!! I love this place and hope you at least give them a try. I promise you will not be disappointed!!! Thanks again Dr. Patricia & Staff

As a dental phobe, I've had a really hard time throughout life with dentists. Sadly, a bad dental experience with my oldest daughter when she was 3 scared me away from dentists for awhile. This resulted in both of my girls needing work. We were referred to Dr. Collins and today I watched in awe as she sweetly and smartly coaxed my daughter through a molar "wiggle" (aka removal). As I sat there as brave as I could with a smile on my face (but crying inside), I was in awe of the amazing teamwork of Dr. Collins and the assistants. They spoke to each other with their eyes so they knew exactly what to do and when and they spoke to my child lovingly and kept her spirits up. They are truly experts in what they do. I would highly recommend Dr. Collins and her staff for pediatric dentistry!

If you've got to have dental work done why not do it at a practice where the staff is friendly, down-to-earth and knowledgeable. Clean facility too! Easy to find!

Lovely place. I love everything about this dentist office. Everyone is so friendly and caring--from the front desk and office staff all the way to the hygienists and dentists. They really care about you as a person and also your dental health. So glad I found this practice!
