We accept all PPO dental insurances, including Delta Dental PPO and Premier, as out-of-network providers. We take pride in being able to provide the highest quality of care without compromising the quality of supplies, labs, and dedicated time with each patient. We are not a corporate dental office, but rather a family-owned private practice that specializes in individualized care. Financial arrangements can be made upon request. We will file all necessary dental insurance claims on your behalf. If you have any specific dental benefits questions, please contact our office.
Dr. Daniel Mingrone's passion for dentistry started at a young age while growing up in Campbell, California. Having shadowed and interned while in high school at his family's dentist's office, Dr. Mingrone fell in love with the profession. He saw first hand how dentistry can not only improve people's smiles but change people's lives.
After graduating from Bellarmine College Prep in San Jose, Dr. Mingrone continued on to study biology at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. After undergraduate, Dr. Mingrone attended the prestigious University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Dr. Mingrone graduated among the top of his class, earning Honors and inducted into the Honor society Tau Kappa Omega. Through leadership and volunteerism in the community, Dr. Mingrone was also awarded the UOP Volunteerism Award.
Dr. Mingrone strongly believes in giving back to his community having volunteered at numerous community outreach/volunteering programs such as CDA cares and Berkeley Free Clinic. Dr. Mingrone is a member of the ADA, CDA, Mid-Peninsula Dental Society, and AGD. Dr. Mingrone is currently part of a Spears Dental study group, where he actively discusses cases and continuing education courses with local dentists and specialists.
Along with his wife, Dr. Bridget Collins, Dr. Mingrone enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, cycling, SCUBA, travelling to new destinations, and taking care of their two cats: Kona and Maui and their bernedoodle, Mochi. Dr. Mingrone is also an avid Bay Area sports fan, following the 49ers, Giants, Warriors and Sharks.

Dr. Collins is a truly gifted dentist. Not only is her work excellent, but she is always willing to respond to the patient's questions and concerns. I can't imagine a more capable dentist. I travel from Berkeley to Palo Alto (CA) (using Lyft) just to be able to have her be the one taking care of my teeth. -- Peter Schorer

I am so happy to have Dr. Collins and her staff as my dental care providers! Everyone is kind, and professional. I've also been very impressed by their pandemic safety procedures; has made me feel safe and calm, which is a must when you're in that chair. Highly recommend; 10 out of 10 would go to the dentist again.

They were super professional and did an exceptional job. They're also all super friendly and helpful. They were able to tell me when I booked my appointment how much it would cost and how much insurance would cover etc. (which is a first so far in my experience with dentists)
