Located in Collegeville, PA, Collegeville Dental Associates is owned and operated by Ryan A. Estelle, D.M.D. Weve been providing the best dentistry in the region to patients of all ages. Our state-of-the-art office is spacious and provides a comfortable environment for you while youre in the chair. Our patient rooms all have televisions to keep you occupied. We run on time, and that means youll run on time. We believe your time is as valuable as ours.
Our dental hygienists are qualified, experienced professionals who will take their time listening to your concerns as well as educating you on the importance of preventive care. Prevention begins with the control of plaque and calculus (mineralized plaque), which are the main causes of tooth decay and periodontal disease. Periodontal disease is known as the silent killer of teeth, because most patients feel no symptoms until its too late. As part of our thorough dental examination we first review your medical history and any conditions that may affect your oral health. We perform a soft tissue and oral cancer exam, and examine the teeth for decay. We also take any necessary x-rays. For childrens preventive care we may recommend fluoride to help make the teeth more resistant to decay. We also use dental sealants, which act as a barrier, protecting the teeth against decay-causing bacteria.
Our Sterilization Center and state-of-the-art procedures meet all the Center for Disease Control guidelines. We heat and sterilize all hand pieces and instruments. We use gloves, masks, gowns, eye protection and barrier covers. We use only ADA-approved disinfectants.
I enjoy my job as a dental hygienist. Getting one on one time with patients and being able to meet their dental needs makes my day a success. Being at Collegeville Dental Associates since 2006 has also given me the opportunity to establish great relationships with my patients.
I stay actively involved with the dental hygiene community by being a member of Sigma Phi Alpha of which I am currently the Vice President of the local Beta Zeta Chapter. This honor society is affiliated with Montgomery County Community College. We strive to keep our chapter growing. We work to raise money to provide current dental hygiene student with scholarships to help with cost on their board tests which are needed to receive their dental hygiene license.
In my free time I love more then anything to spend time with my friends, family and my two dogs Puggy and Junior! I enjoy having people over and hosting parties where I can enjoy all my favorite people together. I like to visit our great city and enjoy a good Phillies game, or watch the Eagles on a Sunday afternoon! When I have the time and motivation I love a good run outdoors while listening to music of all kinds!
Christine is one of our dental hygienists and has been in the field for over 7 years. Inspired by her very positive and enjoyable visits to her orthodontist as a child, she found she had a passion for teeth and pursued it as a career. She started out working as a dental assistant and progressed into the dental hygiene program at Montgomery County Community College, becoming licensed in dental hygiene as well as local anesthesia. She grew up locally and now resides in Schwenksville. She enjoys spending time with her sister, frequently quoting movie lines, being goofy, listening to music, attending concerts and summertime sun!
She states: I always had a fascination and appreciation for teeth, and I love interacting with people and making them feel comfortable. I wanted to make a difference in peoples lives so choosing Dental Hygiene as my career just made sense!
