Colite Family Dentistry was established in 1975 by Dr. William Colite. As a native of Southington, CT, he returned home after dental school to live and work in the community. His sons Stephen and Mark, who also grew up in the community, also returned after school to continue in the family practice, becoming the second generation of dentists in the Colite family. Today, the three of us and our team look forward to welcoming you to our practice and and treating your family like our family, providing you with beautiful, healthy, strongsmiles!
Dr. William Colite graduated from the University of Connecticut and received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1974. Dr. Colite has been practicing in the Southington community for over 40 years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Greater Southington.
In addition to serving his community, Dr. Colite donates his service and supplies to Faith in Practice, an organization that sends teams of dentists and physicians into remote villages of Guatemala where dental and medical care are unavailable.
Dr. Stephen Colite graduated from the University of Connecticut and received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. Dr. Steve continued his education as a resident at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, completing his training in 2007.
Dr. Mark Colite graduated from Hartwick College and received his DMD from Temple University in 2009. Dr. Mark continued his education as a General Practice Resident at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, completing his training in 2010.
Karen received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Tunxis Community College. She also received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Bridgeport. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association and Central Connecticut Dental Hygienist Association.

Karen is by far the best teeth cleaner ever! She is patient, gentle and does such a good job. She is why I continue to be a patient there even though my insurance sucks and I have to pay out of pocket. She is totally worth it!!!

Highly recommended! Have been with Dr Colite senior since South Meriden, probably 30+ years. Refreshing to see that the son's have followed suit as they are as professional as "dad"! My hygienist, Karen, is the best! Very professional but also in tune with you personally. (asking how you are and how your pets are! LOL!) The whole staff is great! Will never change!

Had a great first time experience at Colite family dental practice! Keri my hygienist did a terrific job! Very thorough and gentle.
