Growing up in New Castle, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I enjoyed a loving home that nurtured my talents and lead me to begin my formal education at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, where in 1991 I graduated with a B.S. in Biology. My interests soon became focused on Dentistry and I was delighted to discover that my application to the prestigious University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry had been accepted on early admission. I studied hard and was very active as a leader of several important organizations. Enthusiastically, I served as the President of the Womens Student Dental Association and Vice-President of the American Student Dental Association as well as Treasurer of the American Society of Dentistry for Children. In my senior year I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to present research that I had done for the Universitys Orthodontic Department in Seattle and was recognized as the Outstanding Senior of the Year by the American Association of Orthodontics.
In 1994 I proudly graduated with a D.M.D. Upon graduation I moved to Hartford, Connecticut to complete my general practice residency and later became an associate in a dental office in Moodus, Connecticut until 1998. The following year I joined the rest of my family in beautiful South Florida and began building Colella Family Dentistry hoping to provide the best, most caring, gentle, and professional dental care available. In March of 1999 I opened my own dental practice with hopes that I could bring to my patients the kind of care and confidence that come with being part of a good family. I never imagined that in three short years that I would be honored in a Sun-Sentinel newspaper poll as the best dentist in Broward County! I now continue my affiliation with many dental organizations such as the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and The Atlantic Coast Dental Association to increase my knowledge of new and improved dental techniques to make your visit with us a more pleasant experience.
Patty is Dr. Colellas mother. She was married to the late Anthony Colella for 39 years. She was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area and resides in South Florida since 1991. Patty enjoys assisting our patients on a daily basis as our front desk coordinator. Pattys past experience with floral design keeps the added touch that everyone admires in our office.
Sylvie a native of Haiti, graduated from Palm Beach Community College as a certified dental assistant, and then with a degree in dental hygiene. Sylvie has been working in this office for the past seven years originally working for Dr. Colella as a certified dental assistant. She fell in love working with the patients so much she decided to further her career and become a dental hygienist.
Jessica, a native of South Florida, started her dental career in 2006 with a certificate in Dental Assisting from Palm Beach State College. She then furthered her career in 2009 at Broward College, graduating with an A.S. Degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys making healthy smiles and educating her patients on the importance of oral health. Her hobbies include being a devoted wife and mother to husband Kevin, and her kids Ellie and Colton.
Sabina, a native of Poland lived in Boston Ma. for 10 years until she moved to South Florida in 2008. She has been in the dental field for over eight years and loves helping patients with any questions and concerns they may have about their dental treatment. She is fluent in English, Polish, and Portuguese. In her spare time she enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends.
Hi my name is Alberto S. Vazquez Jr. I have been a certified dental assistant for a decade now. I began assisting back in 2007, after graduating from Central Florida Institute in Orlando. My assisting background is in surgery, general cosmetic, and orthodontics. I love every aspect of my profession. I have a 4 year old daughter who is the world to me. She is half Asian and half Puerto Rican. She is learning both languages at home. My passion for dentistry is helping patients achieve their smile goal. To see them smile and be truly happy makes my day. I plan to be a dentist, and one day the President of this great country.
Do you love food? So doesNorja! In her spare time she enjoys cooking and trying new foods. Born in Kingston Jamaica, she moved to Florida at the age of 4. She has been working front desk with Dr. Colella since 2016 and has been a DentalAssistant since 2010.Norja is very passionate about dentistry, and our patients. Outside of the office she loves to travel and dance.
Damian and Irene though not presently living in Florida, are still part of Dr.Colellas business. Damian met Irene Ortiz when they worked as Dental assistants in Dr.Colellas office. Damian obtained his Health Administration degree and MBA and Irene became a Chiropractor. They married and lived in Daytona until Anthonys passing. They moved back here to help Dr. Colella in her office until she could replace her father with an office manager. Damian and Irene had already decided to move to Colorado after Anthonys passing. They live in Colorado now and both are presently in education and do consulting for Dr. Colella. They have two little girls, Bella and Bianca.

I have completed my year-long experience with Fast Braces, and I am extremely satisfied with the results! Dr. Colella and her Staff are warm and caring, and above all, very good at what they do. Everything they do is done carefully and efficiently, and they welcome questions, taking time to explain. There are no long waiting times in the waiting room or in the chair. I am an "older" person and through the years have always wanted straighter teeth, both for cosmetic and health reasons. Throughout this process, I have found that I no long suffer from TMJ and have only occasional headaches, and my smile looks a lot nicer, too! I will continue to see Dr. Colella for checkups, cleanings, and future maintenance.

I've had more than a few visits and every single person there is absolutely amazing. After a few visits, you realize that all the staff functions like a family. The dentist (Colella) is very gentle and explains things as she does them...my hygienist (Jessica) is also very genuine and gives me a visual analysis every time so that I completely understand what I'm there for and it's always great listening to her stories. For the first time in my life, someone (jessica) actually broke down the technique of proper flossing for me. I'm always set up with a plan and a clear understanding of my future appointments and services and breakdown of cost. Nothing is hidden here. Just ask and they will deliver.

I love Dr. Colella and all of her staff! I traveled bi-weekly for a year from NY just for her treatment plan on getting a perfect smile! She is now our family dentist for myself my kids and my husband. Her work is phenomenal her staff is knowledgeable. The office is always so clean and you always feel like a VIP from the moment you enter through the front door. I recommend Dr. Colella to everyone who is looking for a year check up, a cleaning and a perfect bright smile!

Doctor Candice Colella is one of the most professional, clean and friendliest doctors I have ever seen. Me and my family were referred to her by our close family friend and not even for a second we ever regret coming to her. She made us feel super comfortable from the moment we walked into her office. All the staff members are very friendly and welcoming. They all listen to all your requests and try their best to fulfill all of your expectations. Currently I am wearing her fast braces, so does my sister and my mother. We see such a huge change and it's only been 5 months of us wearing it. This place is amazing!! The staff is very funny and friendly! It's a place that has everything you need to be healthy and have a beautiful smile!! I was in pain and Dr. Colella took me out of it and gave me back my beautiful smile with fastbraces!! The hygienist Jessica is amazing!! I strongly recommend this place!!

I have been going to Dr. Colella for over 5 years now...she truly is the best..for any procedure that I needed she made me feel so comfortable and prior to my appointments she always explained treatment options and payment plans. Her office has the most amazing staff and is very clean. I would definitely recommend her for any dental procedure needed.

I wish I could give zero stars but as I combed through the reviews I see I'm not the only victim of this FRAUD! She has been charging me for a root canal she never performed and it has ruined my LIFE! A whole other dentist performed the procedure and she's been trying to take credit. I went in for a $80 cleaning special and a wisdom tooth ache! She then told me it's not my wisdom tooth but I have a tooth that needed a root canal immediately and it was a LIE! I didn't need the root canal I needed my wisdom teeth to be pulled! She took advantage of me when I was younger. She has No integrity! Down to her photoshopped pictures of herself. DO NOT GO HERE! From the moment I walked into her very empty office I should've known something was wrong! I reported her to the BBB and now I'm deciding she needs to be blasted here as well. It's not right what she is doing to me and others! I tried doing a payment plan. Denied. They try to say they never could reach me. It's a lie. They are money hungry. Absolutely disgusting. And when I tried to get my records they gave me the run around for four days and on day four I had to threaten to call the authorities because legally they only have three days and then they STILL withheld parts of my records which is ILLEGAL! They have no morals here. NONE!

Who doesn't like a doctor who is ready for you at your appointment time? If you want to be met at the door, welcomed, treated with respect, spoken to like the adult you are, and have everyone's concern be for your health, safety, and comfort, you will love this dental practice. Is it painless? Not completely, but as close as I've ever come.

I came for a cleaning, which is one of the most difficult things for me to do. It was efficient, professional and one of the best I have ever had. The technician was attentive and responsive to my anxieties. The office is well prepared for Covid-compliance. I would not hesitate to have any and all of my dentl needs cared for here,

Dr. Colella & staff.... WOW! The hospitality alone is the best I've ever experienced. The staff((especially Zakia)) are all wonderful! I would like to thank the person who's responsible for placing a Chick-fil-A in that exact location because that is what led me to Candice! I love it there!!!!! I can't wait until my treatment begins

I want to thank Dr. Colella for my great smile and her care and treatment of my teeth. I have been a patient of hers for the past 22 years and she and her team has always been professional and friendly. I drive from Naples to her office which is an hour and a half one way. That is how good she is. My experience with her placing fast braces on my teeth was great. They were on for only 4 months compared to 2 to 3 years if I would have gone with regular braces that have not changed their technology in years. I would recommend Dr . Colella for all your dental needs.
