Dr Joseph (Chris) Cole grew up in Ridgway, PA working for his father Dr. Joseph W. Cole, D. D. S. (Orthodontist). In 1973, Dr Chris received his B.S. degree from Allegheny College and his Dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1977. Dr Chris completed a general practice residency at Tufts University in Boston, MA, and studied for two years at Boston University to earn his specialty license in Orthodontics in 1980. Dr Chris has also completed a mini orthodontic residency program at the University of Chapel Hill, in North Carolina.

To achieve board certification in Orthodontics, Dr Chris successfully passed a written American Board of Orthodontics examination in 1981 and presented pre, post and 2 year post treatment records of 15 patients he had treated to the American Board of Orthodontics expert panel of judges in St Louis, MO. He also provided accurate diagnosis and treatment plans for 2 patients records the board provided. Board certified status was awarded in 1989.

Dr Nathaniel (Nate) Cole, D. M. D. grew up in Ridgway, PA working for his father Dr. Joseph W. Cole, D. D. S. (Orthodontist). In 1980, Dr Nate received his B.S. degree from Westminster College in PA and his Dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1984. Dr Nate studied for two years at the University of Pittsburgh to earn his specialty license in Orthodontics in 1986. Dr Nate has also completed a mini orthodontic residency program at the University of Chapel Hill, NC.

To achieve Board Certification in Orthodontics, Dr Nate successfully passed a written American Board of Orthodontics examination in 1986, and presented pre, post and 2 year post treatment records of 10 patients he had treated to the American Board of Orthodontics expert panel of judges in St Louis, MO. He also provided accurate diagnosis and treatment plans for two patients records the board provided. Board certified status was awarded in 1998.

Dr Nate enjoys spending time with his wife, Candace, and two children. He has youth leadership responsibilities at his church in DuBois for twenty years. Dr Nate served on the Pennsylvania Association of Orthodontists Board for seven years serving as president in 2008. Running, handball, badminton and tennis are his hobbies.

Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Cole Curtis, DMD is Dr. Chris daughter and Dr. Nates niece. She grew up in Ridgway, PA. She has worked for her dad and uncle since high school. In 2006 Dr. Liz received her B.S. degree from Villanova University and her Dental degree and Masters in Public health from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010. Dr. Liz completed a general practice residency at Harvard University, receiving a certificate in Hospital Dentistry. She then completed a 30 month residency at Seton Hill University to earn her specialty license in orthodontics and Masters of Science in 2014.

Dr. Liz is happy to be back at home working for the familys practice. She and her husband Jacoby have a daughter with another on the way in December 2016. They enjoy being with family, overseas mission work, traveling, and anything outdoors!.
