After graduating from the University of British Columbia in Dr. Saraa Abdulateef has continued her education by attending the American Board of Prosthodontics. She has years of experienced in general, restorative, preventative, oral surgery, implant dentistry and is a Certified Invisalign Provider. Here at Colby Family Smiles Dr. Saraa provides high level care for her patients in the Everett and surrounding areas.

Having a large multi generational family, I understand the importance of life long dental care, as well as the need for a friendly and compassionate team to help make that as easy as possible. Outside of work, my fianc Ryan and I love to fish and to spend time in our new home with our dog and cats
I started my career in the dental field in 2007 as a registered dental assistant. Here at Colby Family Smiles, I work hard to build relationships with our patients while helping with all their scheduling and accounting needs. The Colby Family Smilesstaff are like my extended family and I enjoy coming to work to get to spend time working with such a smart and caring group. We work well together to achieve our common goal of creating a warm and inviting office for our patients.When I'm not in the office, I enjoy walking my dog Lola, gardening, and hiking
Dentistry has always been a career I have had intrest in due to my and my families own dental experiences. I move often, and one of my least favorite things about moving to a new place is finding new doctor's offices. Colby Family Smiles has been one of the best experiences I've had! The staff is super friendly, and both my dental hygienist and dentist were kind and professional.

To start off with, this business has been good to me for years. Always a wonderful experience as far as dentists go. I have teeth like the British, so they have never been great, but I do my best. The office ladies are wonderful and kind, and my previous dentists were stellar. After today however, I will never return. In for a regular cleaning, and the dentist told me I need my front tooth extracted (it broke years ago and I have a flip tooth I wear now) and an implant put in. I said that is not in my budget. She argued with me about why it needs done and the alternative is more expensive. I said I understand, but I simply cannot afford an implant right now. She huffed at me and began my cleaning. Very aggressive, very painful. I have broken teeth, had fillings, and had cleanings after years of no dental work. I've ran the gamut of painful dental work, and this was not only aggressive and painful, but unprofessional. I was not given the opportunity to spit, so I began to choke. As soon as I swallowed and took a breath she grabbed my lip and opened my mouth to continue. Out of nowhere she took a tool and smacked my gold tooth very hard, several times. I said ow! and she said it needs removed, that shouldn't hurt. I said it wasn't that sort of painful, just unexpected. She then did the same to 2 other teeth with no warning and asked how that felt. I said they all felt the same, and none of them was comfortable. She finished the cleaning, leaving my gums bleeding and incredibly sore, visibly missing a chunk of gum on my front teeth and left me swallowing my blood for 5 minutes until the assistant returned. I declined the rest of the cleaning (floss amd flouride), relieved my treatment schedule, and am now shopping for a kinder, less aggressive dentist who values their patients time and comfort. I will not be returning to this dentist, as much as I love the office and everyone else.

Dr Sneha did a good job of explaining everything to me before the procedure. She was quick, nice and meticulous. Her DA was also efficient and calmed my nerves before my post root canal- crowning procedure.

My husband and I had been looking for a great dentist in the area for a while and we had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Mariam with Colby Smiles. Unfortunately, Dr. Mariam was no longer working there when we booked our appointment, but their new Dr. Sneha Yerra was so lovely when we finally made it in for our check up. Her and the entire staff were so warm and welcoming. They were extremely sensitive towards how I was feeling since it had been a while since I'd been in to see a dentist. The office is lovely and very conveniently located right off Colby. They also referred my husband to a wonderful Oral Surgeon for his wisdom tooth extraction.

Amazing first time experience! I'm thrilled to have found Colby Family Smiles. When I scheduled my appointment I was feeling nervous/embarrassed at how bad I let my oral health get but they were so kind and awesome that those feelings went away. It was truly a wonderful environment to be in and you can tell that they are a family there and everyone works well with each other. From the front desk staff to the dental hygienist- I received the best service. I'm happy to have found my dental home! I highly recommend becoming a patient of a Colby Family Smiles.

This place is Amazing!! From the front desk stuff to the dentists, I have nothing but good things to say about Colby Family Smiles. The service I was given here surpasses all my expectations thank you to Dr Mariam.As a very picky person when it comes to my family s health care providers, I cannot recommend this place enough!!
