Dr. Shalini Thasma is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry where she received training in all aspects of General dentistry. She also was a Dentist in India where she graduated from VMS Dental College, Salem. She practiced as an Associate Dentist in a Multi-speciality dental office for 2 years before coming to US.
Dr. Thasma preserves healthy teeth and gums, alleviates oral discomfort and improves the appearance of smiles on a daily basis. She has applied her unique blend of artistic and technical skill to produce durable and aesthetic results in many patients.She believes in more preventive and conservative type of treatment.
Dr. Thasma is dedicated to lifelong learning through continuing education courses. She is licensed by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and North Texas Dental society.
Dr.Thasma is married and has three children, two boys and a girl. Her hobbies include listening to music, cooking for her family and spending time with her children. She works in the local school as a volunteer when she has time and has participated in free local community health fairs as a service to the community.

I've been to this dentist for the past four years, and each time, Dr.Thasma has been wonderful in helping solve my dental problems. She does takes care of her patients really well and truly cares about their oral health.

I've been going to Dr. Thasma for years! She's a caring, highly skilled dentist who has always been patient and understanding with any questions or concerns. I go to her regularly for deep cleanings which are incredibly thorough. What I really appreciate about her is that she is a no-nonsense dentist and has never tried to upsell me or pitch unneeded procedures. I can't recommend her highly for anyone seeking a great dentist!

I had a filling fall off from tooth..i decided to visit my plano dental..all the staff members helped me very well,they explained about insurence and treatment cost , Dr.shalini is very friendly she fixed my filling without any pain ,and she taken time to explained about other problems related to my teeth and how to maintain my oral health.

We've been patients of Dr.Thasma for over 8 years. She is a true expert in her field. Staff is very attentive and corteous, treats us like family. Her office has state of the art equipment and it's great to relax in front of the TV in your dental chair. We are very happy with Dr. Thasma and highly recommend her.
