Dr. Coican is the real deal. Five years after my family dentist treated me with Invisalign, I was still frustrated with painful bite problems and felt lost. On my first visit with Dr. Coican, he explained in clear terms why Invisalign could not solve my problem. Then he began the process of patiently educating me on the medical science underlying my condition while formulating a treatment plan. He explained a complex subject in terms I could understand, which lowered my stress level tremendously. Later I found out that Dr. Coican teaches other Orthodontists, consults with other doctors on difficult cases, and yet he always makes me feel like I am his most important patient. Thanks to Dr. Coican, my jaw pain has diminished and I can now focus on aligning my bite with braces. Highly recommended!

Dr. Coican and his staff are very friendly, professional and courteous. I have worked in the dental field for 25 years, I know like and trust Dr. Coican for all my family orthodontic needs. My children really enjoy going to his office for their dental appointments. I highly recommend him to all my friends and family!

I have never been happier with another doctor of any kind. Dr. Coican is truly world-class. I have experienced his work as a patient and as the parent of a patient. Genetics may have let me down in the tooth department, but I've enjoyed straight teeth and a perfect bite since my teens thanks to his work. My son's teeth have significant and complex problems, and though we live in Daytona, we gladly make the trips for his appointments. I will be happy to do the same for my other children should they need treatment in the coming years because when you find the perfect doctor, you stick with them. Dr. Coican is a rarity--a brilliant, honest expert with a wonderful personality. Going to his office is like getting to visit with family that you actually like!

Dr. Coican saved me! December 2019, he fitted me with a stint he made in his office. My headaches from grinding my teeth have ceased, and after six months my overall bite has improved. I feel much better! I highly recommend Dr. Coican, an orthodontist with experience, expertise, and national credentials. Plus, he is funny and makes me laugh! His assistant, Mary Ann is terrific too. Seriously, he is a fantastic doctor and I am lucky to have found him.

Every visit is such a delight! I drive two hours to visit Dr. Coican and the drive is very worth it. Before coming to Dr. Coican's office, I experienced plenty of dental and jaw pains. Since coming here, I have experienced so much relief! During each visit, Dr. Coican and Maryann offer so much patience, personal and professional comfort, and reassurance, I actually look forward to coming back!

I presented with a very unique problem where my body was destroying my lower front teeth. Dr. Coican expertly and thoroughly evaluated my case for orthodontic correction. He not only addressed the compromised teeth, but comprehensibly resolved my upper crowding, aligned my teeth, and improved the overall function of my bite. All these efforts resulted in my beautiful smile. I appreciate Dr. Coican taking time to EDUCATE me during each phase of the treatment plan. I would recommend Dr. Coican to anyone who is seeking a true professional for orthodontic care. I will also note, Dr. Coican is the first and only Board Certified orthodontist located in Palm Bay.

Dr Coican and Maryann treated all 3 of my children with braces. The kids, my husband and I are all tremendously pleased with the results. Friendly, honest, detail oriented, patient, and gimmick free... just what I was looking for. He has a great rapport with his patients, adults and children.
